Right in front of him.

Aside from checking whether Su Yuan was doing okay, the other reason was that he wanted to get a few signed photos for Zhuge Miao Yi and the others.

Just saying that out loud was already a bit embarrassing.

And… things between him and Su Yuan were a little delicate.

Back when they were still in Liiu Yuan City, their relationship had already become a bit hard to define!

Now.

Sharing the same room.

There was also Su Yuan’s agent out on the balcony, so Lin Tian couldn’t really let himself speak freely.

Su Yuan thought Lin Tian had something difficult to talk about; turns out he just wanted her autograph!

“Pfft~”

Su Yuan froze for a moment, then couldn’t help letting out a soft laugh.

Looking at Lin Tian’s embarrassed expression, she had thought it was some unspeakable problem.

“It’s just an autograph! However many you want, I’ve got that many!”

Smiling, Su Yuan said happily to Lin Tian, “And I’ve got plenty of selfies too, I had them printed out beforehand and kept them aside, planning to give them to some fans! Back then I promised I’d send some to a few lucky fans when I got the chance! Since you’re asking, I’ll give them to you!”

As she spoke.

She had already turned around and taken four photos out of her little handbag, all of them pictures of herself.

“Let me see!”

Lin Tian hadn’t expected Su Yuan to carry her own printed photos around, and instantly got interested.

Taking the four photos, Lin Tian found that they weren’t recent!

There were faint traces of age on them; they’d been around for quite a few years.

“These were taken when I was in college! Super precious!”

Su Yuan spoke as if she were sharing the most wonderful treasure, yet also worried they weren’t good enough, so she was a little excited and shy at the same time. “It’s just… I didn’t look that good back then…”

“College days? So that’s ten years ago already!”

Lin Tian had thought they were from the last few years, he hadn’t expected them to be that old.

“Yeah, ten years ago exactly!”

Su Yuan gave him a charming smile and said to Lin Tian, “Rare photos to have kept! Thinking back to that time, it’s just like you are now… College life was so much better! All those young faces and hours, all those classmates and friends—classes, going online, gaming, listening to music, playing ball, singing… Too many fun things to count! It’s a pity it’s all gone now!”

By the time she finished, a hint of bitterness showed on Su Yuan’s face.

In her expression, what remained was endless memory.

It had already been five or six years since she’d left college!

Those pure, beautiful days were long gone!

Lin Tian quietly listened to Su Yuan, then gave a slight nod.

From his third year of high school to his freshman year now, Lin Tian could also feel that atmosphere and time on campus that you couldn’t find outside—laid-back and peaceful, yet full of youthful energy!

“Where was this taken?”

Lin Tian picked up the first photo and asked Su Yuan.

In the picture, Su Yuan’s long hair draped over her shoulders, she was wearing a white shirt, blue cropped jeans that cut at the calves, white flat shoes on her feet, and a radiant yet youthful smile on her face.

Back then, Su Yuan looked maybe nineteen at most, and was already blossoming into real beauty!

She was standing at the edge of a beach; the sea breeze swept across her, tossing her hair, leaving deep marks across her young face.

Behind her was the boundless sea.

The sky was a clear summer sky, with scattered clouds drifting by, everything else blue as if freshly washed.

“I took that in the South Sea! Let me think… Right, it was the summer vacation of my sophomore year!”

Su Yuan thought back for a moment, then confirmed to Lin Tian.

“South Sea’s Hainan Sanya?”

Looking at the beach, Lin Tian thought of Huaxia’s more famous tourist spots.

Sanya was one of the country’s top tourist destinations!

The ‘end of the world’ people often talked about was there!

“Nope! It was on Holy Ancestor Island in the South Sea! It’s an ancient place, with tons of old buildings, really full of South Sea flavor! I remember being super excited when I went there, first time seeing that kind of sea area! All around were dense clusters of islands, incredibly spectacular! Only pity is, a lot of the old islands were off-limits; they said they hadn’t been fully explored yet, and it was pretty dangerous.”

Su Yuan pursed her lips a little, crinkling her delicate nose, her face full of memories as she said, “Later… On my album about traveling away for my eighteenth year, I included a song called ‘Azure’—it’s about Holy Ancestor Island!”

Holy Ancestor Island!

So this was Holy Ancestor Island!

Lin Tian’s brows twitched slightly, a hint of seriousness flashing in his eyes.

Holy Ancestor Island—back in Yanjing, he’d heard about it. The South Sea powers had fought hard over the map of Holy Ancestor Island.

And.

Qin Yuegu’s mother, Tang Shuqi, had discovered the whereabouts of the Holy Water Pearl in the South Sea; supposedly, it was in the sea area near Holy Ancestor Island.

Looked like he’d need to go there sometime!

Thinking that, Lin Tian picked up the second photo.

This one had a harbor city as the backdrop; Su Yuan stood on the top of a hillside villa cluster, behind her the harbor, and rows of tall buildings lined the foothills on either side of the harbor.

“Where’s this?”

Staring at the beautiful city in the photo, Lin Tian couldn’t help asking.

In this shot, Su Yuan was in a long dress, looking even taller and prettier.

Her hair was tied into a ponytail, revealing her finely contoured face.

“This is Xiangjiang! One of the three most beautiful cities in the world~”

Su Yuan smiled lightly, explaining to Lin Tian, “It was winter break, and I went to Xiangjiang with my classmates for three days! West Ring, Central, Wan Chai, Nine Dragons—so many fun places!”

Xiangjiang!

Wasn’t that the city where his little sister Lin Xiaoqing was studying.

He definitely had to go check it out!

Lin Tian nodded, his thoughts stirring.

There were two more photos after that. One was East Sea City in East Continent; Lin Tian recognized it at a glance.

The last one, though, showed heavy snow sweeping across the world.

“That’s Guang Han Continent; I took it when I went to Ice City in the winter to play.”

Su Yuan finally explained that one to Lin Tian as well.

Now that he knew the stories behind all four photos, Lin Tian could only give a wry smile and shake his head before handing them back.

“These are precious pictures from your college days, you can’t just give them away. You should keep them safe!”

Lin Tian returned the photos, speaking with real seriousness.

Just these four photos carried so many of Su Yuan’s beautiful memories; he couldn’t rob someone of what they loved, and certainly couldn’t let them be given away casually.

“Heh… you’re overthinking it! These are duplicates! I’ve kept the real originals for myself!”

Su Yuan shook her head with a laugh and said, “I’ll sign them for you!”

As she spoke, Su Yuan bent over and started signing her distinctly stylized name on the backs of the photos.

Lin Tian finally let out a small breath of relief.

As long as Su Yuan still had the negatives, that was what really mattered!

“All done!”

Once she finished signing, Su Yuan handed the photos back to Lin Tian, then asked in confusion, “By the way… what’s going on with Tianzhou Film and Television Group? How did it suddenly end up under my name too?”
