Chapter 468: Expanding The Farms

He paused and rubbed his chin.

"Actually, never mind."

He turned to look down at Aria.

"I will go talk to the village chief first." he said and then looked at the other two, "Why don’t you two join me over there?"

He looked back at Aria and gave her a pointed look.

"You said you would train, so I want you to sit here and train. By the time I come back, there should be some good progress."

Aria instantly understood the assignment. She nodded and secretly sent a thin, invisible mana thread straight toward Adrian’s ear.

"Yeah," her voice echoed directly in his mind. "I will make sure that all of the methods of using summoning magic are completely written and ready for you by the time you come back."

Adrian nodded very slightly to confirm he heard her.

He walked out of the bamboo hut and went straight toward the chief’s mud hut that was right beside his own.

Seeing that the wooden flap door was wide open, he casually put his head inside and looked around. Thanks to the bright sunlight coming from the small ventilation holes carved into the mud walls, Adrian could clearly see the Demon Chief sitting right in the center of the room.

"Oi, chief."

The chief looked up at him.

"Oh, hello. Good morning."

The chief paused and looked at the position of the sun outside.

"Or well, I should say good afternoon. Looks like you didn’t sleep early last night."

Adrian stepped fully into the hut.

"Well, I had things to do. Anyways, I want this place right now. You go sit somewhere else."

The chief opened his mouth to complain, then he closed it. Then he opened it again with an annoyed frown.

"This is my house."

Adrian just shrugged his shoulders completely uncaringly.

"I don’t care, get the fuck out. I need this place for a few hours. Or if you want, I can just send you to my dungeon instead."

Hearing this casual threat, the chief just stood up silently. He walked right past Adrian and out of the mud hut like an obedient child.

Adrian walked further inside and locked the wooden door behind him. He used a few pieces of cloth from his dungeon to block the sunlight coming from the mud holes.

The room got a lot darker so he pulled out a lighter and lit the few candles resting on the four candle holders hanging from the ceiling.

Under the dim, flickering orange light, he turned around.

Claire was already busy taking her clothes off, her face still slightly red but her eyes completely focused on him, almost like she was waiting for some sort of reaction from him. Serena was standing right behind her, doing nothing.

Adrian grinned.

With a single snap of his fingers, he used his dungeon link to make all of his own clothes instantly disappear.

Almost five whole hours later.

Adrian panted heavily as he sat cross-legged on the dirt floor, and looked down at Claire and Serena. Both of them were completely exhausted, lying down on the floor with their hair spread all over the place. Their eyes were closed and while their breathing was just as ragged if not quicker than Adrian, they quickly began to breathe steadier as seconds ticked by.

Adrian smiled slightly. He brought out a thin, comfortable blanket from his spatial ring and gently draped it over their bare bodies to keep them warm.

He took a deep breath to regulate his racing heart rate and closed his eyes.

’System, show me the progress of your genetic simulation thing. Give me the finalized list of the best outcomes that you got for the dungeon livestock.’

Looking at this, he nodded and moved over to the next screens that showed information on every single creature that the system had picked for him and slowly went through the detailed information.
