Chapter 192 135: Dream Wizard Revealed, Defeating Hades

'This is...'

Wang Ya, who had been at an absolute disadvantage and on the verge of defeat under the assault of the Spears of Corruption, looked up and revealed a strange smile.

His five-meter Flame Demon Domain was being devoured by a swarm of Tidal Water Snakes. The Water and Fire Elemental Particle Energies canceled each other out, shrinking the five-meter area down to its final meter.

Hades felt a sense of unease as he watched Wang Ya's smile.

He abruptly channeled more Particle Energy, and the Spears of Corruption pierced straight through that final one-meter area.

The turbulent water surged, creating sizable waves as the Tidal Water Snakes scrambled to engulf and cover the last patch of lingering fire.

'Something's wrong!'

The feeling in Hades's heart was growing stronger.

His heart skipped a beat. A Particle Energy Shield materialized around him as his gaze swept a death grip across the battlefield.

"What's going on? Why hasn't Hades been teleported away? Isn't the fight over?"

"No way. With such an exaggerated range of Witchcraft, that immense pressure, a full-power attack from a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice... there's no way Wang Ya Harak's Witchcraft State could have resisted that."

The spectating Wizards were instantly filled with shock and doubt.

The expressions on Dante and his companions changed abruptly. 'Does Wang Ya Harak have some hidden trick we don't know about?'

On the ten-thousand-meter Earth Fire battlefield, a figure in a black Wizard Robe appeared behind Hades.

Hades noticed him instantly. He enveloped his right hand in Water Element Particle Energy, forming a highly condensed, slender Water Blade. It involved the transformation of Water Elemental Particles between active and inert states, reaching a length of eight meters and possessing extreme sharpness.

He lashed out at the figure with incredible speed.

The ground was sliced open, leaving a long, narrow gash. The Water Blade transformed into a silken lash that coiled around and enveloped its target.

With a sharp tug, the figure in the black Wizard Robe shattered into pieces, yet the smile remained on its handsome face.

No matter how Hades looked at it, the scene was bizarre—creepy, even.

The shattered, black-robed figure vanished into the Void. Then, Hades's Spiritual Power actually detected the target again.

This time, he was to the left, walking toward him with the Fear-Burning Fire ignited in his hand.

'You've got to be kidding me!'

Hades's pupils contracted. The Water Blade once again became a long, thin whip and sliced the figure to bits. Yet not a single drop of blood splattered. Each fragment of the body was like a torn piece of a painted scroll.

'Weird!'

'Too weird!'

Hades watched as Wang Ya Harak's body fragments vanished again. About two seconds later, he reappeared directly in front of him.

He simply materialized out of thin air, condensing from the Void with a faint smile on his face.

He was starting to genuinely panic, his mind a tangled mess. 'What is this? There are no Particle Energy fluctuations, nor is there any aura of Fire Elemental Energy!'

He couldn't comprehend the technique Wang Ya Harak was using or what kind of state he was in.

He shredded the other's body one more time, but the result was the same: two seconds later, it re-formed in the Void.

'Damn it!'

His powerful Spiritual Power swept out, becoming an invisible pressure that cleared everything around him, scattering dirt and dust into the air.

The Extraordinary Spiritual Power of a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice was already capable of affecting reality and manipulating objects.

If concentrated on a single point, it could even crush a mortal into a bloody pulp.

'Nothing. Still nothing. There's nothing at all!'

Hades even began to suspect he was hallucinating, that he had been influenced by Wang Ya Harak.

But after checking his entire body with his Spiritual Power, he found nothing out of the ordinary.

He didn't dare let Wang Ya Harak get close, so he pushed his Particle Energy Shield to its maximum.

He continuously used Witchcraft to destroy and kill Wang Ya's body.

In return, he was met with Wang Ya's intermittent revivals.

It stretched his nerves taut, to the point where he could barely maintain his composure.

The spectating Wizards were also shrouded in a fog of confusion by this bizarre phenomenon. What in the world was this? They had never seen such a strange technique.

"What on earth did Wang Ya Harak do?" Riley Shebel's eyes nearly popped out of his head. If he encountered an opponent like this who just wouldn't die, how would he even deal with it?

You can't kill your opponent, but your opponent can still hurt you. It was too despairing. Anyone would have a breakdown.

Dante and Jim looked at each other, imagining themselves in that situation. It truly was hopeless.

A red glow appeared in the pupils of the Mad Brothers as they began scanning with a special technique. One of them spoke as if through a toothache, "Can't see a temperature, can't find any Particle fluctuations, and there's no Biological Force Field either. He's really like a ghost."

Halic said in astonishment, "Don't tell me... he might actually have a chance to defeat Hades?"

The moment he said this, the Wizards present were stunned into silence.

'It seems like he really does have a chance...'

Zack Antuun watched Wang Ya's bizarre technique with apprehension, his estimation of this lifelong rival rising yet again.

'Just how many more tricks does he have that I don't know about?'

...

Kaze Antuun glanced at Kelan Wizard, then back at the battlefield. His fists clenched and his brow furrowed as he silently uttered two words, "Dream Wizard!"

Kelan Wizard turned to him, smiling. "This isn't something I taught him, nor have I seen it from my own master."

"To be honest, I'm quite startled myself. I can't figure out the principle behind this particular Dream Witchcraft on short notice."

Kelan Wizard said with a grin, "However, in this Life Arena, we might just witness history: a precedent of a Level 2 Wizard Apprentice defeating a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice."

Kaze Antuun said no more. His back was drenched in sweat, his emotions in turmoil as he stared intently at the situation on the field.

He refused to believe that all his schemes would end up just paving the way for Wang Ya Harak's success.

'There's no reason for it.'

He too was searching for the principle behind this strange display. Dream Witchcraft couldn't possibly be this unbeatable.

The descent of the Dream Gap might be silent and subtle, but an Extraordinary Spiritual Power should be able to detect the anomaly.

'Hades, you need to calm down! Use your Spiritual Power to deal with it!' Kaze Antuun screamed inwardly.

But his voice couldn't reach Hades's ears. Hades was truly on the verge of a breakdown. Facing an unkillable enemy, he had nearly exhausted all his own techniques.

Finally, he stopped attacking altogether. With only about ten percent of his Particle Energy left, he focused solely on maintaining his Particle Energy Shield at maximum power.

He watched as Wang Ya Harak approached him.

'Is the flaw here?'

He still had one hidden offensive Witchcraft, poised and ready to be unleashed.

DRIP.

A drop of sweat trickled down Hades's forehead. He watched as Wang Ya Harak came within one meter of him and reached out his hand...
