This High Martial World is Too Crazy!!!
Chapter 368 - 364: Phase Two Counterattack
Chapter 368: Chapter 364: Phase Two Counterattack
A giant white egg appeared on the eastern battlefield.
This colossal egg resembled a white mushroom rooted to the planet, as soft as a marshmallow and as white as snow.
Like a blank canvas, it exuded a sense of pure sanctity.
And this was the second stage, entered after Belial’s personality had been erased.
"What is this thing?" The three Fourth Turns were stunned, momentarily at a loss.
Then, a flicker of recognition passed through the Reincarnators’ eyes; the scene before them felt incredibly familiar.
"Who cares what it is! A monster this inherently evil must be destroyed!"
The Super Giant spoke, crossing his arms as the energy for his beam attack once again surged through them.
Tumultuous energy roiled, poised to blast the giant egg to smithereens!
Meanwhile, the two Reincarnators, having just recalled the relevant memories, shuddered violently. "Wait! This is fucking Ye Fu! STOP!!!"
To the Reincarnators’ horror, the Super Giant’s accumulated energy reached its peak, ready to be fired at any second.
At that critical moment, the Reincarnator piloting the modified Jaeger-type Mecha lunged forward, throwing herself in front of the white egg.
BOOM—
The immense torrent of energy slammed into the Jaeger-type Mecha, blasting a deep crater into its thick armor.
The remaining force carved a trench hundreds of meters long in the earth, and she only barely stopped just before crashing into the white egg.
"What are you doing?" the Super Giant asked, bewildered.
"That’s Ye Fu! It returns any attack it takes with an identical one!" the other Reincarnator hastily explained. "Its power level is unknown, and it gets stronger the more you fight it."
"So as long as we don’t touch it, it’s completely harmless. We don’t need to engage it at all."
Hearing the Reincarnator’s words, the Super Giant hesitantly lowered his hands, but then he saw a pitch-black sphere materialize out of nowhere and plummet downward.
BOOM—
Then, as they watched with trembling eyes, the antimatter bomb detonated. Flames and a violent shockwave erupted, completely engulfing the giant white egg.
Then, the mocking voice of the King of Trolls echoed from an unknown location:
"You idiot. If you don’t hit it, someone else will. It makes no difference. A rampaging Ye Fu is a menace to everyone, no matter who sets it off."
As his words faded, the white egg dissolved into smoke amidst the flames and shockwave, and a monstrous roar erupted from within.
ROAR—
The next moment, a monster covered in scorched wounds emerged from the inferno, its hideous head fixed on the three Fourth Turns before it.
At the same time, numerous cannon barrels sprouted from Ye Fu’s body.
These cannons continuously unleashed explosions, frantically destroying everything in the vicinity.
’Damn it.’
The faces of the three Fourth Turns were grim. "What now?" the Super Giant asked. "Does this thing have any weaknesses in its original story?"
Before he could finish his sentence, Ye Fu’s head snapped toward the Super Giant, and its body began to charge.
The earth trembled with its every step, like a cruising warship. The sight made the Super Giant’s face turn pale with fear.
Remembering the Reincarnator’s warning—that the creature could mimic and return any attack—the Super Giant didn’t dare to fight back. He could only spread his arms and brace himself, catching the monster’s charge head-on.
Even so, he was still pushed back little by little, and the constant shockwaves from the explosions on Ye Fu’s body made him deeply uncomfortable.
"Don’t be scared! Ye Fu loves music! Try whistling at it, and it should stop attacking you," the other Reincarnator said, not daring to get any closer to help.
"Whistle? Are you sure that’ll work?"
Looking at Ye Fu as it continued to roar in his face, the Super Giant felt he had no other options. "I’ll trust you one more time."
With that, the Super Giant began to hum a tune, mimicking the style of a street performer he had seen before.
But he had barely started the tune when Ye Fu lunged forward and bit down hard on his shoulder. Blood gushed from the wound, and the intense pain made him let out a world-shattering scream of agony.
"Damn it! Screw this Ye Fu! It’s a Fourth Turn at best. I refuse to believe I can’t kill you!"
The music tactic having failed, the Super Giant completely snapped. He kicked Ye Fu away and unleashed a torrent of beam attacks, raining them down on the monster.
In an instant, the turbulent energy scoured the area for more than ten kilometers in front of him.
Inside the raging vortex of terrifying energy, Ye Fu’s body was instantly melted by the turbulence and blasted to pieces.
"Let’s see you survive that!" The Super Giant’s form flashed with a cold light. "It’s only a Fourth Turn. Did it really think it was the same as the original version?"
Looking at Ye Fu’s shattered remains, the two Reincarnators hesitated. ’If it’s only at the Fourth Turn level, that should have been enough to kill it... right?’
The answer was no!
Although Ye Fu’s "Heart Light" was currently at the Fourth Turn level, it had also fused with some of Fang Can’s cells, granting it a portion of Fang Can’s [Indomitable] immortality.
Fang Can’s [Indomitable] ability had an upper limit of the Ninth Turn. Even a tiny fraction of that effect was not something the current Super Giant could hope to overcome.
Sure enough, within just a few seconds, the damaged cells, guided by the Heart Light, began to proliferate rapidly.
In just a moment, Ye Fu’s body was fully restored, and it began to transform into an even more hideous state.
Its hands morphed into blades, barbs sprouted from its ribs, and wings grew from its back.
In an instant, the three-headed, six-armed monstrosity let out a roar to the heavens as layers of energy lit up along its thick tail and converged on its three heads.
Then, surging spirals of energy erupted from all three of Ye Fu’s heads simultaneously, blasting toward the three Fourth Turns!
...
On the western battlefield, the Fourth Turns stared with grim expressions at the five-meter-tall white sphere before them.
In a righteous three-on-one beatdown, they had ignored all of the King of the Godforsaken Place’s foolish antics and easily inflicted heavy injuries upon him.
But then, the King of the Godforsaken Place had transformed into a giant egg. What would emerge from it now?
Before they had time to think, a sharp claw tore open the egg just a few seconds later, and a dragon’s roar bellowed from within.
"I will rebuild... my kingdom!"
The speaker was a five-meter-tall Western dragon with crimson eyes and a jade-green body.
"Saint... Saint Master?" The two Reincarnators’ expressions turned grim.
"That’s right. It has been a long time since anyone has called me by that name!" Saint Master raised his draconic head, his blood-red eyes fixed on the three Martial Artists before him.
"Three against one, is it?"
A cold look filled Saint Master’s eyes. He unleashed the power of the Pig Talisman, and two golden laser beams shot forth from his eyes.
