Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!
Chapter 305: My Three Wishes...
HUMMMMM!!!!!
The moment the four essences assimilated within Akasha, he erupted into a surge of Divinity like no other.
Sage felt it first as heat built up in the soles of her paws, then as a pull under her skull that made her thoughts line up in a way they had not lined up ever.
She slowly opened her eyes, letting them rest on the black infinity marks, gazing down at his face from her perch atop his hair. ’’Hmm, should I move?’ she wondered lazily, sensing that this change felt somehow different from his last one... and maybe not as safe if she stayed put.
It was as though she could smell it in the air, drifting from his skin, and in that moment, she decided she wanted no part of whatever was coming.
Because... it wasn’t meant for her.
She pushed off his head and stepped out into empty air as though the void beneath her were solid ground.
Landing on her side a short distance away, her tail flicked once in a sharp, deliberate motion.
Glancing back over her shoulder, ears tilted back, she gave him a long look before shaking her head.
"Father," she murmured, her sleepy voice laced with a thin thread of worry she didn’t bother to hide.
"He’s... different."
She then closed her eyes once more, keeping the brightness safely behind her lids.
As she drifted into sleep, Akasha couldn’t afford to look away.
He remained suspended in the air when the first seam split open along his left forearm—light-brown skin parting without a blade, while his white-gray hair lifted from his neck as the Divinity surged more.
He sensed the Gacha first, then the Domain, and finally the very essence that defined him as an Anomaly... disappear.
"Shit..." he muttered, doing his damnedest not to panic or completely lose it.
"Let’s hope this... doesn’t go bad."
In that instant, it hit him—maybe he’d bitten off more than he could chew.
Then again, he wouldn’t have gone through with something like this if he didn’t believe the outcome could be possible—maybe even beyond anything else he’d imagined.
Thinking about his strange existence, how he’d been created from the essence of both his mother and grandfather, already being an Unus, made everything feel even more surreal.
While he couldn’t quite put into words what his grandfather was, he was certain it was something beyond comprehension—something that could exist outside the very pages of a novel.
Even so, the four essences he’d absorbed were already part of him; though they didn’t amount to even half, it was still far more than any typical Lesser Unus would possess.
But now, he’d just added what amounted to another 15% of those essences directly into the chaotic blend.
The problem was, even though it made sense in theory, he still had no clue what those four essences actually were.
In moments, his right shoulder tore at the joint, marked by a slick white-purple streak. The infinity beneath his left eye split along with the cheek below it.
Sage’s ear twitched at the sound, but she kept her eyes shut.
Blood spilled from him in two colors, white and purple, thick like rope, and when the final piece of him gave way, he fell apart completely.
BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!
In the next instant, Akasha exploded outward, scattering himself across the void in every direction, droplets suspended impossibly in place.
For a while, that was all there was—radiant Divinity mingled with floating drops of blood—until, slowly, the light began to retreat.
HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!
It didn’t disappear; it spread through the blood like dye swirling into water, the white and purple merging until they blended completely, impossible to separate or distinguish.
The mixture drew in from the far-off spray, and then... it started to shape itself into something entirely different.
Lines connected with other lines, while curves approached but deliberately missed each other.
What formed was a sigil so large that, had Sage been watching, she would have had to tilt her head all the way back to take it i.n
It was an infinity mark that never finished the second loop, one side closed and the other left open like a sentence someone had stopped writing in the middle.
The sigil hung in the gray long enough for the last of the white-and-purple blood to finish finding the grooves, and then the mark gave up holding still.
HUMMMMMM!!!!!
Light spilled from the open loop first, then from the closed one, so bright that the void shed its gray and turned into a single field of white streaked with purple.
Inside that light, a shape began to stand where Akasha had been missing.
There was no bone in the building of him and no blood knitting back into veins and no flesh crawling over a frame.
The light gathered and layered itself into the shape of a man, and the endless, unfinished expanse kept feeding that form, building it line by line, until shoulders became shoulders and a face emerged.
After a few moments, Akasha stood relatively unchanged in the glare, as the last of it was still settling into him.
His light-brown skin glowed softly, while white light blended with shades of gray, cascading down his back before fully deciding to take the form of hair.
Under his left eye, the infinity symbol was broken the same way the hanging sigil had been: one loop finished and the second left open.
Around his neck, a thin white band closed, and from that band hung another incomplete infinity, resting against his chest.
In that moment, as Akasha remained unconscious while his change completed, the void near him began to split.
It opened like a door, a clean, tall slice in the void, and a woman stepped through, clutching a notebook against her middle with both hands.
She had long black hair and eyes like galaxies, so deep that looking into them felt like peering into something forbidden.
She wore a simple dark dress that flowed with her movements.
She stopped a few paces from Akasha and sighed as she shook her head.
"The third sign has... finally arrived," she said, and her thumb shifted along the edge of the notebook.
She balanced the notebook in her palm, letting the pen glide slowly across the page.
"Entry 12
In Era 1501... the convergence loomed closer.
The rise of the third has begun."
She capped the ink and hugged the book to her middle once more. The galaxies in her eyes lingered without haste.
A flicker of emotion crossed her face before settling again, hope and doubt quietly occupying the same weary corner.
"Hopefully this time things will be different"
She turned while the last of that sentence was still in the air and went back through the same tall cut she had used to enter.
And the moment she left, Akasha’s’s eyes opened.
