Chapter 310: The Universal King Of Infinite Dreams

"The Universal Tree of Want, huh?" Akasha muttered with a smile as he moved and hugged Luna from behind.

"Hmm, you can almost do as much as me," he teased, giving her breast a playful squeeze as they fit perfectly into his hands.

Mmh~

Luna melted back into his chest for a moment, pink-and-white hair spilling over his arms, and a small moan slipped out of her before she caught it, eyes half-lidded on the white trunk across the dark.

"Yeah," Yume said, giggling into her hands. "You can almost do what we can~."

Hearing her, Luna shot Yume a brief, playful glare but said nothing, knowing her words held some truth, though not entirely.

"Oh, cut it out," Akashi said, glancing toward the floating land as she laughed at their banter.

"There’s no reason for bantering... your abilities are not far from one another."

Akasha teased her because, although Luna had become the Unseen Want and retained her power over desires, her path was deeply intertwined with Dreams.

Normally, Yume and Luna would still be vastly different, as Yume was the true embodiment of Potential, but now she encompassed both imagination and Potential.

This essentially meant they could both manifest items into the waking world, albeit through different paths.

The biggest difference—though hardly much of a difference—was that Luna could create items at the absolute peak of the Multiverse at the Monarch rank, while Akasha and Yume were limited to the rank of Divine.

However, since they were all connected to Elsewhere, they shared the ability to define exactly what "Divine" or "Monarch" truly meant.

In the end, there wasn’t much separating them—and they were completely overpowered.

Akasha chuckled against Luna’s hair at his mother’s words, while Luna’s lips curved into a teasing smile.

Yume playfully bumped Luna’s hip as they followed behind Akasha.

----

In a few breaths, the void under them became grass under their feet, with flowers and the beautiful pond sitting directly in the middle before them.

"Now, let’s become a Universal King," Akasha muttered as he looked up into the white branches until the pink leaves filled his vision, Sage lying comfortably in his arms.

Since the Orin System was technically no more, he couldn’t really be called a Supreme Ruler at this moment.

Still, he hadn’t lost the title or the aura of one, because despite everything that had happened, the consciousness of the Star System...

She had been patiently waiting, watching it all unfold.

"Kalpa." He said with a smile, and not even a moment later, she appeared.

"Hmph," Kalpa huffed, her lips curling into a pout.

She stood there, looking exactly as she had the last time they were together.

She wore a short white dress that emphasized her petite, slender figure.

At five-foot-eight, she was just slightly taller than Yume, and her long hair shimmered with seven colors at once as it cascaded down her back.

And... her eyes, pure white with no iris to conceal, gave her an otherworldly presence.

Bang!

"I thought you forgot me," she said as she playfully reached out and punched his chest.

"More than one hundred and fifty years, and the consciousness of your Star System gets neglected. Do you know how rude that is?"

In that moment, Akasha smiled softly, as if anyone who could understand the feeling of neglect would be him.

Yet, through their bond, he also sensed she wasn’t truly feeling that way, almost as if he had absorbed bits and pieces of Yume and Luna’s personalities.

"I know, but things will be different from now on," he said, tilting his head slightly as he gazed into her pure white eyes.

"Now... are you ready to become the consciousness of my universe?"

Hearing his words, Kalpa placed one hand on her hip and began tapping her chin, glancing up at him as if she needed to ponder the idea.

"Hmm," she murmured, her foot tapping in sync with the rhythm of her fingers against her chin, before suddenly breaking into a bright smile and giving a sharp nod.

"Yes!" She said, both hands instinctively grabbing the front of his clothes for a brief moment.

"Of course I want to know now what being a Universe feels like!"

’Why...’ Akasha mused, shaking his head, ’do all the women around me seem so mischievous?’

Once, Kalpa had been more reserved around him—perhaps even fearful or reverent—but now she carried herself much like Yume did at times.

Instead of dwelling on it, he simply activated one of his new powers from the Broken Infinity.

[Divergent Horizon]

HUMMMMMM!!!!!

In that instant, the Necklace shimmered with a soft purple and white glow, and Divinity suddenly surged around Kalpa.

From across the void, the pink-leaved branches of the Universal Tree of Want descended gracefully.

Before she could even process what was happening, they wrapped themselves around her, forming a seamless cocoon of white-and-pink wood.

The gentle motion of it enclosing her made Sage’s ear twitch.

Luna stood with her arms crossed, a satisfied look on her face, while Yume let out a low whistle under her breath.

He hadn’t used this power on the others because he wasn’t simply making her the Universal Consciousness—he was changing the way a consciousness would grow altogether.

With the power of Divergent Horizon, he didn’t have to follow the path Pantheos had laid out at the end of the road; he could shape it exactly as he saw fit.

Using this power on Melvin and the others felt wrong without asking them first, so he had simply elevated them to Divine Ranked Stars.

But with Kalpa, he knew exactly what she wanted, and as a cosmology consciousness, such desires rarely changed.

So, as he looked at her cocoon, a single thought passed through his mind.

’Kalpa, from this moment on, you will be the consciousness of the Pantheon of Infinite Dreams. You will ascend, expand, and grow stronger each time I rise in cosmology.’

HUMMMMMM!!!!!

In that moment, another surge of divinity burst from the cocoon, as Akasha had entirely reshaped the way Kalpa would develop.

For now, she was simply the consciousness of a Universe, but once he stepped into the void between Multiverses, she would transform into a Multiverse herself, and the cycle would continue.

As the cocoon awaited his signal to complete itself, Akasha turned away from her while he spoke.

"She can stay there," he said.

"I want to arrange a few more things across the Universe... Then I’ll release everyone at once when I’m finished."
