Chapter 1640 - 524: Deluxe Life Package (Part 3)

Chapter 1640: Chapter 524: Deluxe Life Package (Part 3)

Liu Jianxin and Wen Xishu exchanged a glance. Seeing this scene, they both prayed, hoping to be assigned to a bachelor family.

Even Liu Jianxin had guessed that every member of the Balance Sect seems to have some sort of scoring mechanism implanted or similar rules.

One must perform certain actions to earn points and play their role well in order to survive.

Otherwise, they would be eliminated.

A husband’s, or a wife’s actions...

Does it include certain inappropriate things for children?

Liu Jianxin suddenly felt a bit scared.

He thought that at least the deluxe package would help him escape the situation; he wanted to choose the deluxe package.

Wen Xishu said:

"What’s the cost? The deluxe package sounds like it completely surpasses the standard package, so what’s the cost?"

The staff member did not answer immediately. After a few seconds of hesitation, he slowly said:

"The cost... is that you will lose all your superpowers, becoming a normal person. But... if your assessment score is high enough, you’ll gradually regain superpowers corresponding to your rank."

Wen Xishu sensed... this would be a very twisted and distorted city.

Libra is also one of the Twelve Constellations, how could it... create such distorted rules?

The staff clearly had a strong urge to express, but due to certain rules, he dared not say much. He switched back to a fake smile:

"Please make your choices, both of you."

Liu Jianxin was very conflicted. The deluxe package allowed for family transfer. Even if the assessment score was insufficient, you would not be eliminated.

Of course, he’d prefer to be eliminated. But right now, his brother Wen Xishu was here to accomplish big things, and he hadn’t retrieved his father’s relics.

He couldn’t leave; if the relics were lost, so be it. As long as he tried his best to find them. His father could understand the twisted rules of this ghost place.

But his brother couldn’t be left alone without support.

It should be noted that in the Abilities Dark Forest, Wen Xishu saved his life.

With this in mind, he said:

"I choose the standard package. I want to retain my ability."

Wen Xishu was surprised.

Liu Jianxin said:

"I think you’re suited for the deluxe package, brother. Even if you lose your abilities, don’t be afraid. I’ll be your sword."

This sentence warmed Wen Xishu’s heart.

Everything comes back around. Whether he had selfish motives when saving these people in Deceit Tower, for these people, they all acknowledged and returned favors.

Wen Xishu nodded:

"Alright, then I’ll choose the deluxe package."

His intuition told him this task would be very difficult; he might have to cycle through several families to find the rule loophole.

Defeating Libra through brute force was out of the question, so he had to slowly investigate and gradually find the loopholes in the system and rules.

That was Wen Xishu’s thought.

But just as he did so, signing his name on the deluxe contract, officially becoming a member of Balance City...

Suddenly, Wen Xishu received a notification in his mind.

[Severe negative weakening attribute present, Mad Dice’s topsy-turvy effect activated, current negative effect reversed.]

[New version of deluxe contract modification completed.]

?

Wen Xishu truly did not expect that just as he had prepared for the worst, challenging the highest difficulty...

his cheat actually brought him good news.

Intuition told him the Big Number Tendency had disappeared. The Big Number Tendency is a kind of sexual skill.

It lasts for a period and will disappear, not permanently residing, only possibly roll again the next time climbing the tower.

But since the last dice roll, besides the Big Number Tendency, Wen Xishu also had the topsy-turvy.

This thing is consumable, counted by times, won’t disappear over time, only forcibly cleared after returning to the bunker.

Since Wen Xishu hadn’t returned to the bunker, it remains present.

At this moment, as a "human," Wen Xishu encountered a deprivation nature weakening rule.

Actually, whether standard or deluxe, the essence is to weaken Wen Xishu.

And the topsy-turvy was meant to counter such rules.

The Deluxe Citizen Package, at this moment, ushered in a mad-style upgrade.

"Able to cheat again, really nice."
