Gu Shengyin felt her mind go blank for a moment.

She carefully sized up Cen Yuye, making sure that this really was the man himself.

So here came the question: the Crown Prince of the Cen Family actually had a day when he was the one chasing after a marriage alliance?

Probably because Gu Shengyin’s expression was too obvious, Cen Yuye went over what he had just said and realized there was indeed some ambiguity in it.

He himself couldn’t figure out why, when he saw Xie Han at the café, a thought like that had suddenly popped into his head.

Under Gu Shengyin’s doubtful gaze, Cen Yuye cleared his throat and began to explain: "Miss Xie may have misunderstood what I meant."

"My family’s been pushing a bit anxiously lately, so I was thinking of finding a young lady from a matching family and coming to an arrangement with her..."

The general idea was that the two of them would enter into a contractual marriage, sign an agreement; their marriage would be just for show, something for others to see. Neither party would need to fulfill any marital obligations; they only needed to put on an act of deep affection in certain public settings...

They would maintain this kind of relationship until the contract expired.

It had to be said, for heirs from big families like them who didn’t want to get married, this was actually a pretty decent option.

After he finished speaking, Cen Yuye looked somewhat nervously at the woman opposite him.

He didn’t know why he was nervous.

In fact, an emotion like nervousness was something the Crown Prince of the Cen Family rarely experienced.

This was her bottom line.

Even if it was just an agreement, at the very least the marriage between them was real.

The idea of finding one’s ’true love’ while still married was disgusting just to think about.

Without any hesitation, Cen Yuye nodded: "That’s not a problem."
