Gu Shengyin talked with that reporter for a long time.

In the end, when she stood up to leave, she looked into the reporter’s eyes.

“You didn’t meet anyone special today. Everything you know about campus bullying is what you saw with your own eyes. In the next few days, you’ll sneak into the school and personally feel and witness what kind of attitude No.1 Middle School in City B has toward this incident.”

The reporter nodded, looking a little dazed.

Gu Shengyin turned around and left.

About five minutes later, the reporter suddenly snapped back to himself as if someone had slapped him.

He was a little stunned, wondering what he had just been doing, but soon a fierce surge of emotion filled his mind.

“I didn’t expect that a school with such a good reputation on the outside like No.1 Middle School would actually condone something this outrageous!”

Just thinking of what he had accidentally witnessed not long ago made rage churn in his chest.

Campus bullying, huh?

He was going to expose every disgusting bit of No.1 Middle School’s true face!

Do it as soon as you decide!

The young reporter cast a firm look in the direction of No.1 Middle School, ready to immediately head back and prepare his materials.

Gu Shengyin finished dinner outside and went home.

If nothing unexpected happened, tonight the police would be able to find those few people in that abandoned teaching building.

Then tomorrow, she would probably have her hands full again.

Sure enough, the moment she arrived at school the next day, she was immediately called over by the class monitor: “Zhou Qi, Teacher Liu said as soon as you got to school you’re to go to her office.”

The class monitor was a tall, lanky boy, a nice guy who was well-liked in class.

He lowered his voice and said to Gu Shengyin, “Teacher Liu looks really angry.”

Gu Shengyin nodded. “Thanks.”

She put down her schoolbag and walked toward the homeroom teacher’s office without the slightest burden.

It was still early; at this time, there was only one teacher in the office—Liu Hong.

“Zhou Qi!” The moment she saw her come in, Liu Hong’s expression sank.

“Stand by the wall! What did you say when we questioned you yesterday? That you had nothing to do with those missing classmates? You think if no one finds out, it’s fine? Those classmates have already been found, and they all say you’re the one who locked them in the abandoned teaching building! You’re simply lawless!”

Liu Hong seemed furious, and seeing that Gu Shengyin was still standing there with her head lowered in silence apparently made her feel very dissatisfied.

She grabbed a book from beside her and hurled it straight at Gu Shengyin.

Gu Shengyin’s eyes flickered slightly. She could have dodged it, but thinking of something, she stayed rooted to the spot and let the book hit her squarely.

The sharp corner of the book scraped across her temple, slicing open a shocking line of blood.

Almost instantly, bright red blood flowed down from Gu Shengyin’s temple, and against her pale face, it made her look all the more pitiable.

Seeing her like this, some of the anger in Liu Hong’s heart dissipated.

But her tone was still nasty: “Let me tell you, Zhou Qi, this matter is extremely serious! The school has already called the police, and later the parents of those classmates will also come! In a situation like yours, we’re definitely going to handle it strictly, we might even expel you! Hmph! Just wait for the police to deal with you!”

Finishing this, she seemed to feel extremely pleased inside, even taking a sip of tea in a rather good mood.

Gu Shengyin raised her head and looked at Liu Hong. “I didn’t. They have nothing to do with me.”

Liu Hong let out a cold laugh. “You still want to quibble? Four classmates unanimously testified that you’re the one who beat them up like that and then locked them in. And you’re still trying to argue?”
