Aurelia turned around, her eyes narrowing without a trace of emotion, "Is there a problem?"

The slight lift at the end of her sentence carried a hint of danger.

The sight of her narrowed eyes, as if blossoming peach flowers, made Sophia Evans feel an itch in her heart.

"There’s a matter that requires your cooperation." As soon as Sophia’s words fell, several women began to approach Aurelia.

Aurelia stepped back half a step.

"Stay back! Anyone who dares step closer, I’ll strangle her!" Aurelia shouted.

Sophia’s face changed color.

"Don’t be afraid of her. I just don’t believe she’d dare commit murder here."

"Wanna try? After all, I’m already in here for murder. Killing one is murder; killing two is also murder. Serving ten years is time; serving twenty is also time." Aurelia tightened her grip, her expression serious, her demeanor and actions indicating she wasn’t bluffing.

Sophia’s face instantly turned the shade of liver.

Coughing, Sophia signaled them to back off. They exchanged glances but still retreated.

Aurelia released Sophia, collected her belongings, and went out. At the threshold, Aurelia suddenly stopped, looked back, and left a warning: "Stay away from me in the future."
