Chapter 1412: Chapter 1412: Is She a Psycho?

Smack—crisp slap ringing out!

Aurelia Shaw’s hand lashed out again, landing on Alison’s left cheek.

Alison’s raised hand froze midair. Her face buzzed numb, her mouth filled with a metallic taste, her throat reeking of blood.

Today, she’d actually taken two slaps from Aurelia Shaw!

Alison couldn’t swallow it. She’d changed her face, spent over a year lying low in M Nation, all for one fatal strike at Aurelia.

Yesterday her scheme blew up, today she came to settle the score, and ended up getting slapped twice.

And it was right under everyone’s eyes! On top of that, Aurelia had gotten a handle on her.

A cold, sinister glint flashed in Alison’s eyes, her hatred for Aurelia burning even hotter.

Aurelia looked at Alison, her gaze cool, cool with contempt. Her blood?red lips moved, and her voice, calm but razor?sharp, carried more than enough intimidation:

"The person who showed up in your private room yesterday was someone I sent. The photos are still with me. As for today’s video, I’ll have someone cut it specially into you barging into my dressing room, putting on airs, targeting me on purpose, and viciously beating your agent.

I don’t like too many flies buzzing in my ear, and I’m the kind who holds grudges. Whoever crosses me, I make them pay back tenfold.

If you dare provoke me again, those photos and videos will be splashed across the online headlines that same day! If you’re not scared, go ahead and try."

Barefaced, blinding threat.

She knew Alison had come in a rush and hadn’t prepared to record anything.

With some people, you have to spell it out and go straight for their weak spot.

Alison stormed out of Aurelia’s dressing room, still seething. Her rage burned so hard her whole chest hurt, her emotions on the verge of snapping. She glanced at the agent beside her, raised her hand, and slapped the agent hard across the face.

"Useless trash!" Alison snarled and walked off.

The agent’s face was swelling high, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth.

Pain tore through her body; she wasn’t sure if Alison had kicked and broken one of her ribs.

She was already used to it. If Alison didn’t have something on her, she’d never have endured this long.

Alison and her mother were both vicious pieces of work.

The agent turned back for a look.

She’d heard it clearly—Aurelia had just spoken up for her. Alison hit her now because she was raging, but once she cooled down she wouldn’t lay hands on her for the time being. As long as that video stayed in Aurelia’s hands, Alison wouldn’t dare touch her again; otherwise, if reporters caught her bruises, it would indirectly prove Alison had beaten her agent.

She wasn’t some big shot, but she knew how to be grateful.

She etched today’s favor—Aurelia speaking up for her—into her heart.

Having won the battle, Amanda Fuller was over the moon, bouncing around the room. "Did you see Alison storming off, that expression of hers? Ha! Green and purple with rage—it was like finally venting all that anger."

After the World project got snatched away, Amanda had been stewing in frustration, and the moment Aurelia told her the plan, she’d agreed without a second thought.

Her job was simple—wait outside for Aurelia’s signal, then rush in.

Amanda’s brows knit, her expression turning slightly serious. "Alison’s agent’s arm was covered in injuries—there were fresh ones, and some that were clearly old. Is Alison some kind of psycho? She actually abuses her own agent!"

At that, Amanda’s mood grew complicated.

Good thing she’d run into Aurelia. Agents getting bullied by artists was nothing new, but Aurelia had never once given her a hard face—instead, she treated her like a sister.

Thinking of that, Amanda silently made up her mind: she’d treat Aurelia as her own blood sister and stay loyal to her for life.
