Chapter 1416: Chapter 1416: A Major General Breaking the Law—Where’s Your Shame?
Aurelia Shaw yanked the blanket off, glaring angrily at Mason Nightshade, and kicked his calf.
"Watching the drama unfold, why didn’t you explain just now?!"
"Explain what? Didn’t we almost just..." Seeing the anger on her face, Mason stopped his sentence, "She’s not wrong, I had a thousand ways in mind just now to devour you."
Aurelia, her cheeks puffed with anger, glared at Mason, speechless from fury.
Mason’s shamelessness was overwhelming; Aurelia could never outargue him about such things.
Just as Mason was about to say something else, his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID, his expression darkening, and answered.
"Alright, I got it."
After hanging up, Mason looked at Aurelia.
Aurelia instantly understood, "The people tracking me, any results yet?"
"It’s the Parker Family," Mason said.
Aurelia’s face changed suddenly.
"They still managed to find me. My brother called me back, and I had this feeling. If it’s not something about the Parker Family and they found my existence, my brother wouldn’t be this anxious. He’s always wanted to keep them from knowing that I exist."
Mason pulled her into his arms, placing her on his lap, and touched her face with his hand, "Why doesn’t Caspian want the Parker Family to know about you?"
Aurelia shook her head.
"I don’t know. I asked my brother, and he wouldn’t say. He seems to not want me to have any ties with the Parker Family at all. He doesn’t even want me to know they exist.
I feel guilty towards my brother. He’s my only family, and I trust him. Any decision he makes is for my own good."
Mason’s gaze turned deep immediately, the faint cold gleam flickering, as he grabbed her chin and kissed her forcefully!
This girl praises any man, and it can overturn his jealousy jar, even though he knows that’s her brother by blood.
"Is he the person who’s best to you?" Mason asked.
Aurelia responded with a sound of affirmation.
Mason angrily bit her lip, "I am the one who’s best for you!"
"You’re even jealous of my brother, are you a jar of jealousy?" Aurelia said, frustrated, ready to hit him.
The two tussled on the bed for a while. Mason was getting worked up, but couldn’t bear to act on it with Aurelia, so he had to hold it in.
"Once you’re healed, I’ll make up for everything I’ve held back these past few days." Mason’s forehead was bulging with veins, and his face showed pain.
After panting on her for a while, Mason lifted her up.
"Where are you going?" Aurelia asked.
"You didn’t fill me up, but I have a conscience, so I’ll fill you up first."
Mason placed Aurelia on the sofa, then rolled up his sleeves and went into the kitchen.
It’s said men who focus intently are the most handsome.
Aurelia felt Mason was handsome even while cooking.
He had a face more handsome than anyone, stern but not effeminate, with attractive features and strong facial lines, sharp eyes; all his strengths made him the most eye-catching person wherever he went.
And such a person only had her in his heart.
"Is your man handsome?" Mason brought out a plate of dry-fried green beans, smiling as he glanced at Aurelia.
He placed all the dishes on the table, then bent over and carried Aurelia over.
"Stop being shameless, who’s my man? We got divorced." Aurelia stuffed rice in her mouth.
Mason was so enraged by her that it hurt his chest; he couldn’t eat anymore, grabbed her chin, and kissed her fiercely.
"Without that certificate, you’re still mine, you can’t escape my grasp!" Mason gritted his teeth.
Aurelia found his furious look amusing, "A Major General knowingly breaking the law, where’s your face? If you dare, register the marriage certificate."
