Lucas simply smiled and said nothing.

Aurelia got into the car, furrowing her brow slightly, only then remembering that Lucas was young. When the incident happened five years ago, he hadn’t enlisted yet, so he didn’t hold any deep-seated grudges against her.

Aurelia felt moved.

"Sis, are we going to the largest mall nearby?" Lucas asked.

"No, head to Nightshade instead."

The car came to a stop.

"Mason Nightshade sent him to protect me," Aurelia replied.

No explanation for why she needed protection.

Andrew was surprised but didn’t ask why.

After eating for a while, Andrew voiced his curiosity, "Did you call me here just for a meal?"

Andrew shook his head, honestly saying, "I can’t fathom the twists and turns in your mind.

But one thing I’m sure of: You’ve turned me into a pawn again, haven’t you?"

Aurelia laughed, "You complain about gaining without loss, but I’ve seen the news online. You’ve officially collaborated with LW Corporation, and with the previous rumor storms, your popularity has risen quite a bit.

I’ve given you such a significant boost, making you my pawn isn’t a grievance for you."

She wasn’t one to suffer even the slightest disadvantage.

"In a few days, someone might offer you a large sum of money to ask for a favor," Aurelia continued.

"Who?"

Andrew felt her smile resembled that of a sly little fox, plotting against her adversary, while the other party remained unaware of their impending plight.

He felt a strange sensation rising within him, which he suppressed as he questioned her.

"You’ll know who when the time comes. Whatever help she asks of you, agree to it. If she offers money, take it."
