Chapter 115: Dual Cultivation*

The study in Copper Town’s D’Arc Manor underwent a complete renovation.

It did not look like a study anymore but had a proper bed in the middle surrounded by various different types of lamps letting out different colored medicinal fogs.

The room was brightly lit by the seeping sunlight through the stained windows, and despite the many colors involved, it was not chaotic but gentle and easy on the eyes.

The colorful room was comfortable and brought one at peace.

Vincent currently sat on the bed’s edge with Leona by his side.

Vivienne was leaning against the windowsill and looking down at the two.

Linda stood outside the room to ensure nobody entered to disturb them.

The floor was covered in medicinal fog and Vincent couldn’t see his feet. It was as if there were clouds instead of the ground beneath him.

“You two will be married in little less than a month. What is about to happen now was supposed to happen on that day, once the wedding was over. However, the circumstances call for a change and so… here we are.”

Vivienne gave a small briefing.

She then turned to Leona.

“Have you finished studying the manual I gave you?”

Leona nodded her head.

Vivienne turned to Vincent. “And I assume your relationship with Leona is great, yes?”

Vincent nodded. “We are close.”

He placed his hand above Leona’s. He wasn’t sure what was happening, but it seemed something important and he didn’t hide anything.

Vivienne was satisfied with the answer.

“Good. We can begin then.”

Vivienne opened her palms and a manual magically appeared on them.

“First, strip down and sit in a lotus position, facing each other.”

Vincent raised his eyebrows in surprise whereas Leona was already a step ahead and started undressing.

Vincent was further surprised by such an obedient attitude.

Leona likely wouldn’t have done it if she was against it, so if she was undressing without any complaints meant that she most probably wanted to do this.

This further confused Vincent and made him wonder just what was up.

Regardless, he unbuttoned his shirt and took off his pants, getting completely naked.

It didn’t take time for him to undress but Leona wasn’t finished. She had a lot of strings on her clothes, and Vincent helped her.

Vincent closed his eyes and saw nothing but darkness for a moment. However, he soon began feeling a strange sensation spread from his back and enter somewhere near his bellybutton or a bit below.

Heat started rising from there and he could see an orange sphere blazing with heat.

Vincent’s body began sweating visibly.

‘What is this?’ He wondered. ‘And how am I able to see it, right now?’

Vincent was still new to the world of cultivation and didn’t know much.

The sphere was getting hotter as he continued staring at it and feeling it. The heat was spreading throughout his body and beads of sweat trickled from his forehead and back.

Opposite to him, Leona’s body was emitting a chill, turning everything around her dry and cold.

“Once you’ve felt it, try making it move outside.”

Vincent didn’t have to put much effort. He just had to think and it began flowing outward.

Hot met cold but only on their host’s fingertips.

“Vin, try warming up Leona.”

“Leona, try cooling down Vin.”

“Try finding the source of the energies and incorporating yours into it.”

Vincent didn’t have too much of a hard time and could soon see a bluish-core emitting a strong chill.

Before he reached it, he could feel a comfortable sensation.

There wasn’t any more heat.

Staring at his own core, he could see that it now contained bluish-silver marbling.

Vincent had an understanding of how things were supposed to be done and ended up creating orange marbling upon the bluish-silver core.

In no time, he could feel a path with how the energies moved.

Leona had an even deeper understanding of it since she knew what she was doing.

Vivienne was basically making their innate Yin and Yang nature get accustomed to each other. Doing this ensured they had an understanding of how energy usually flowed or how it was supposed to flow.

The assimilation was also an important aspect.

Sometimes, in very rare cases, this would not happen and the Yin and Yang were incompatible for dual cultivation.

Although it was very rare for such a condition to occur, it was better to test beforehand than regret later as things were quite serious and may result in both parties getting crippled.

Five minutes later.

“Keep feeling these energies. Don’t get distracted.”

Vincent heard it and kept his focus on channeling his energy into Leona’s core.

Though, he felt like he was losing his energy at a rapid speed to Leona and might not last too long.

Soon, he felt a hand on his shoulders.

“Don’t be distracted. Continue what you’re doing.”

Vincent held Vincent by the shoulders and gently lowered him on bed.

She then made his legs extend outward at Leona’s sides and his erect dragon could be seen roaring at the heavens.

‘It doesn’t need more stimulation, it seems.’ She thought.

Vincent and Leona were still hands, and Vivienne didn’t let them break it.

She supported Leona by her elbows and made her get on her knees.

A small vial appeared in Vivienne’s hands.

She opened it and dropped some liquid on Vincent’s shaft, giving it a good rub and making it slippery.
