Lana Sheffield pulled Melody Monroe to the center of the banquet hall.

Melody Monroe noticed how grand the full moon banquet was.

The original novel also described this full moon banquet, but it probably wasn’t as luxurious and grand as the one she was seeing now.

And there were far more guests, too.

In the original novel, there was no media or celebrities, no one from the entertainment industry. It was just the prominent figures recognized by the Sheffield Family.

"Melody, have a seat first. I need to go greet the other guests." Lana Sheffield led Melody Monroe to her seat and then turned to leave.

Melody Monroe noticed her seat was right in the middle—a position she never would have been assigned given her relationship with Lana Sheffield.

"It’s fine. We’ll just sit wherever she puts us," Keith Coleman said, grabbing a snack from the table and popping it into his mouth.

Melody Monroe scanned her surroundings. There were almost no familiar faces.

"Melody!"

A voice called out from behind her. Melody Monroe turned around to see Tiana Gable walking right toward her.

"I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me! I heard someone say you were here, but I didn’t believe it."

"Long time no see," Melody Monroe replied softly.

"Long time no see. I heard Rose is in Jansburg. Is she doing okay?"

"She’s doing great."

"Is she really not coming back to Stellaris?"

"That’s right." Melody Monroe’s answer was firm.

A look of disappointment flashed across Tiana Gable’s face. "If Rose isn’t coming back, I don’t know what I’ll do. I finally started to make a name for myself, and now this happens. Maybe I’m just fated to never be famous."

"Do you have any plans?"

"If things at Stellaris stay like this, I probably won’t be there for much longer."

"Do you have anywhere suitable to go?"

"No." Tiana Gable shook her head. Suddenly, a determined glint appeared in her eyes as she mustered up her courage and asked Melody Monroe, "I heard your studio is signing artists too. Is it possible for me to sign with you?"

Melody Monroe was taken aback. She hadn’t expected Tiana Gable to make such a request.

She had worked with Tiana before and knew her reasonably well. And their last collaboration had been a pleasant one.

"I only run a small studio, and you’re already starting to become well-known. I’m afraid... I’m afraid it would be a step down for you."

"It wouldn’t be! Melody, I believe in you. I think you’re one of the most dedicated actors I’ve ever seen. You’re truly committed to the craft, and I’ve always admired your amazing acting skills. If you’re willing to sign me, I can pay the breach of contract fee with Stellaris myself. I’ll handle my contract with them."

"If you’re willing to come to my studio, the studio will handle your contract and termination fee with Stellaris."

"So does that mean you’re willing to sign me?"

"Yes. Thank you for believing in me. Let’s do our best together!" Melody Monroe extended her hand to Tiana Gable.

Tiana Gable clasped Melody Monroe’s hand. "Thank you for taking me in!"

"I’ll go back and get the documents ready today. Once they’re prepared, I’ll send them to you. If everything looks good, I’ll have someone start negotiating your contract termination," Keith Coleman said to Tiana Gable.

"Thank you," Tiana Gable said immediately.

She knew Keith Coleman, but she never expected him to have become Melody Monroe’s agent.

’Is it because he became Melody’s agent? He seems to carry himself completely differently now.’

Most of the guests had arrived, and the master of ceremonies announced the official start of the banquet.

Lana Sheffield walked onto the stage to express her gratitude to the crowd.

"Thank you all so much for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend Elijah’s full moon banquet."
