Transmigrated Villianess: I am the mistress to three Beasts Lords
Chapter 40: MY BODY BETRAYED ME.
VIVIAN
Vivian’s legs began to shake.
Why is Caelan here with an entire fleet?
Her heart raced. "Did he find out about the fake pregnancy?"
No!! She quickly shook her head.
He doesn’t know. I have been extremely careful.
If he knew, he wouldn’t be standing here in broad daylight. Haxia’s laws strictly prohibited male soldiers from openly attacking females.
If Caelan wanted revenge, he could only do it secretly.
Vivian clenched her fists.
Then why is he here?
Caelan finally reached the ground.
His guards followed behind him while the Federation soldiers remained around the ships.
The entire courtyard had suddenly become tense.
Vivian glared at him. "Why are you here?"
Caelan stopped a short distance away.
She didn’t give him a chance to answer.
"I’ve already lost your child! Our relationship is over! You should just go and marry my sister! I am no longer blocking your way."
Ronan’s expression darkened. "Commander, why is she speaking to you like...."
Caelan raised a hand. Ronan immediately fell silent.
Vivian stepped forward. "You never came to check on me!"
Her voice trembled with anger. "I lost a child, and you never even gave me an explanation. You protected the person who hurt me instead!"
Her eyes reddened. "I don’t want to see you again!"
She pointed the sky. "Please, just go away!"
The courtyard became completely silent.
She thought to herself. "I just want this karma between us to end. I’m tired of lying!"
Caelan stared at her. But strangely, he wasn’t looking at her angry eyes.
His gaze had fallen to her lips.
Then to her dress.
Why is she wearing pink?
He frowned. Blue suits her better. Silver would suit her even more.
Without thinking, he stepped forward and reached toward her hair.
Vivian immediately slapped his hand away.
"Don’t touch me with your filthy hands!"
Caelan’s fingers paused in the air.
Vivian closed her eyes. Be serious. She took a deep breath. "I don’t love you anymore."
Her voice became firm. "Our relationship ends here."
Caelan looked at her for several seconds.
Then he said calmly, "Don’t blame yourself for losing my child."
Vivian opened her eyes. Is he crazy? Can these men understand No!!!?
"I don’t blame you." His expression softened. "It was my fault."
Vivian’s anger faltered.
What?
Caelan continued. "Anyway, I’m here for my suit."
"...What?"
"My uniform."
Vivian blinked. "The one I gave you at the restaurant."
Her face went blank. She remembered.
Oh! She had completely forgotten about that.
"Uh..."
She scratched her cheek. "I lost it."
Caelan raised an eyebrow.
"How?"
"It disappeared with my house when it collapsed."
Behind her, Arin suddenly whispered, "Vivian..."
Vivian turned slightly. "The suit is in your cabinet."
"What?"
"The construction company returned it. It wasn’t damaged."
Vivian’s eyes widened. Why didn’t you tell me earlier?!
Vivian whispered back, "We could have brought it with us and sold it!"
Arin stared at her. "It’s his suit. Federation commander suit!!"
"So?"
Vivian turned back toward Caelan. "I... can’t find it."
Caelan stared at her. "Then how am I supposed to retrieve it?"
"I don’t know."
He sighed. Then he turned around. "Let’s go."
She heaved a sigh of relief. So he came for his suits?
Ronan and the other guards followed him toward the ship.
Vivian watched them leave.
For some reason, her chest suddenly tightened. She knew something was about to go wrong.
Caelan reached the bottom of the stairs. He placed one foot on the first step.
Then Vivian’s mouth opened. "Please don’t leave me!"
Silence. Vivian’s eyes widened. She immediately slapped both hands over her mouth.
NO! Her face turned red. Not now! I CANT do this Vivian. Please let me be!!
Her legs suddenly moved.
"No!"
She grabbed one leg with both hands. "Stay!"
Her right leg continued trying to walk toward Caelan.
Arin stared at her in horror. "Vivian..."
"ARIN!"
"Yes?"
"GRAB MY LEG!"
"Why?"
"JUST GRAB IT!"
Arin hurried over and wrapped both arms around Vivian’s leg.
But Vivian’s leg continued dragging her forward.
"Stop!"
Arin’s shoes scraped across the ground. "Vivian, your leg is incredibly strong!"
"I’m aware! That’s why I want you to stop it!!"
Caelan slowly turned around.
He looked at Vivian being restrained by Arin.
Then he smiled. "Do you want to hug me before I leave? This time I will take some time before I come back. This is your only chance."
Vivian’s soul nearly left her body.
"No!"
Her body ignored her.
"BEENY!"
She began crying. "Do something!"
Inside her consciousness, Beeny’s eyes widened.
Pretty sister...
"PLEASE!"
Beeny gritted her teeth. "Fine!"
She released a wave of spiritual energy. It rushed toward Vivian’s Lotus.
The golden flower trembled. Then...boom!! A new petal slowly unfolded.
Golden light filled Vivian’s consciousness.
The Lotus used its power to strengthen her soul from being controlled.
Her arms rose for the hug.
She walked toward Caelan.
One step...Two steps.
Three..
Caelan opened his arms for a hug.
Vivian’s face was already turning red.
No! She couldn’t stop herself.
Her arms rose. Caelan smiled.
And...
SMACK!
A slap landed across his face.
The entire courtyard went silent.
Vivian froze. Caelan’s head turned slightly from the impact.
Ronan’s mouth fell open. The soldiers stared in disbelief. "Females are so scary...!!"
Arin covered her mouth. "Princess!! You are so cool."
Vivian slowly lowered her hand.
She looked at Caelan. Then at her own hand.
Did I just...STOp being controlled.? She laughed happily.
Inside her consciousness, Beeny was jumping up and down.
I DID IT!
Vivian took a deep breath.
Then she pointed at Caelan. "Don’t ever let me see you again."
She turned around and walked away.
Her steps were steady.
But inside her mind, she was screaming.
I almost hugged him! Thanks Beeny for saving me from shame.
Inside the Federation ship, Caelan sat down.
His fingers slowly touched his cheek.
Ronan stood before him, visibly frustrated. "Commander, why would you allow her to treat you like that?"
Caelan remained silent. Ronan continued. "She slapped you!"
Caelan touched his cheek again. "Did she slap you?"
"No," he said.
"Then Why are you so agitated?"
Then, unexpectedly, the corner of his lips lifted.
"Her slap was cute."
Ronan stared at him and rolled his eyes.
"Sir?"
"She didn’t use her strength." Caelan leaned back. "I’ve heard Vivian’s strength has increased considerably. She loves me a lot that’s why she didnt use her strength to hurt me. Vivian is such a good girl."
Ronan’s expression became complicated.
"Sir... are you listening to me?"
Caelan ignored him.
"She was angry."
His eyes softened.
"At least she finally released it."
Ronan frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"I’ve never seen her this angry with me for too long."
Caelan looked toward the window.
"If she can hit me, then at least she’s allowing herself to release the pain of losing a child. So I won’t hold it against her."
Ronan stared at his commander as though he’d lost his mind.
"Commander..."
"What?"
"You should have told her that the female soldier who pushed her was arrested."
Caelan’s expression changed.
He looked at Ronan."...I forgot."
Ronan covered his face looking away. "SIR!... I am sure she doesn’t love you."
