Tribunal Kingdom In A Stone Age: Blood, Lust, Gladiators and Milfs
Chapter 19: Under Stone :)
Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Under Stone :)
The air was close, thick with smoke and the iron smell of fear.
The three living prisoners from the eastern hills knelt on the stone floor, wrists bound behind them, ankles hobbled.
Hest, the lean spearman from Elka’s circle, kept his head high.
The two River captives one a young woman with a healing cut across her brow, the other a middle-aged man who had limped since the camp fell stared at the floor.
Vara sat in the central seat.
Gron occupied the seat to her right.
Korr stood at her left shoulder, axe resting against the wall within easy reach.
Elka had been summoned and had come. She stood near the entrance with Sura and Drak, arms folded, face unreadable.
Two trusted first-band fighters guarded the only way out.
Vara’s voice was quiet and absolute.
"You will speak.
The hills keep no secrets once the men who walked them are under stone. Hest. Begin."
Hest spat to the side.
"I walked the eastern paths on my own feet.
The captives ran.
We found them. We were bringing them back when the first band decided the story needed blood and bound men."
Korr’s voice cut in, flat. "You were not bringing them back. You were meeting.
The fire was shielded.
The ground was chosen to hide. Two men without marks died rather than answer. Try again."
Hest’s eyes flicked to Elka, then back.
"The Matron’s gladiator sees what he is told to see."
Vara leaned forward. "The tracks do not lie. The place does not lie.
The two who died chose silence over breath. That silence has a price. You will pay it in words or in the pit. Choose."
The younger River woman broke first.
Her voice shook, but the words came clear. "They told us the eastern hills were the way out.
That the Tribunal would never hold the ground forever.
That there were others who would take us in if we reached the high ridges.
The unmarked ones said they came from the north caves the ones the old songs call the Hollow Kin.
They brought promises and knives."
A heavy silence settled.
Even Elka’s expression shifted for a fraction of a breath.
Gron’s cracked voice filled it.
"The Hollow Kin have not shown their faces in this valley for three generations.
If they are moving again, the river was never the only threat."
Vara’s gaze stayed on the woman.
"Names. Places. What exactly was promised."
The woman swallowed. "Food. Protection.
A place that is not under Tribunal law.
They said the Matron’s grip is weakening.
That the songs about the gladiator are a sign the balance is already breaking.
They wanted fighters who would open the paths when the time came.
Hest and the others were to mark the safe trails and the weak watches."
Hest lunged against his bonds with a snarl. One of the guards drove a fist into his midsection and he folded, coughing.
Vara turned her head slightly toward Elka. "You will explain why men who answer your voice were marking trails for the Hollow Kin."
Elka’s voice was steady, but the edge in it was sharper than usual.
"I explain nothing that rests on the word of a captive who will say anything to keep her throat closed.
The Hollow Kin are a story told to frighten children.
If they exist, they have stayed dead for longer than most of us have lived.
This is a convenient tale for the Matron to aim at my people while her gladiator stands at her shoulder."
Gron spoke before Vara could answer. "Stories that stay dead do not leave fresh tracks and unmarked men who choose death over speech.
The captive’s words will be tested.
The trails will be walked again.
If the Hollow Kin are real and moving, every band in this kingdom will be needed. Including yours, Elka.
Or the ground under all of us will open."
Vara rose.
"The three will remain under stone until the trails are confirmed.
Hest will face the pit at dusk if he has not given clearer names by then.
The River woman has bought her breath for now.
The man will speak before the next sun or join Hest in the sand."
She looked at Elka.
"You will keep your circle inside the valley until I say otherwise.
Any further quiet meetings in the hills will be treated as open betrayal."
Elka inclined her head the minimum required. "As the Matron commands."
The words carried no surrender.
She turned and left with Sura and Drak.
The sound of their footsteps faded down the outer passage.
The prisoners were dragged back to the holding caves.
The chamber emptied until only Vara, Gron, and Korr remained.
Gron rubbed a hand over his cracked face. "If the Hollow Kin are real, the river war was only the first storm.
They were never large, but they were never soft.
They take what they want from the high caves and leave the bones for the crows.
If they are reaching into our captives and our restless fighters, the split Elka is feeding becomes something larger."
Vara’s fingers closed around the bone necklace.
"Then we confirm the trails before the next moon.
Korr, you will take a small, trusted group only first-band men who stood with you at the river and walk the same ground again. Quietly.
If the Hollow Kin have left more sign, I want it.
If they have left people, I want them breathing long enough to speak."
Korr nodded. "And Elka?"
"She stays under watch. Her circle is not to leave the valley.
If she tests that order, the response will not be another public judgment.
It will be final."
Gron left them with a final warning.
"The tribe already feels the ground moving.
Every day the songs about the gladiator and the silence around the second band pull in opposite directions.
Do not let the Hollow Kin become the excuse that finishes the break."
When the elder was gone, Vara closed the distance to Korr.
The lamps threw long shadows across the painted walls.
She placed both hands on his chest, feeling the steady beat under the scars.
"You brought the proof that forced this into the open," she said. "Now the open is more dangerous than the dark.
The Hollow Kin, if they are real, will not care which Matron’s name is sung loudest.
They will care only about the paths that are weak.
And Elka will use every shadow they cast."
Her hands slid down, untying the loincloth. She wrapped her fingers around him and stroked with slow, deliberate pressure until he was fully hard.
Then she pushed him back against the stone seat, climbed into his lap, and sank onto his cock in one long, claiming drop of her hips.
A low sound left her throat as she took him deep.
She began to move, rolling her hips in controlled, possessive strokes, hands braced on his shoulders, eyes locked on his.
"Stay alive on those trails," she murmured. "Come back with answers.
And keep choosing the same side while the kingdom tries to tear itself in two."
Korr’s hands settled on her waist, then slid up to cup the heavy weight of her breasts. He met her rhythm from below.
The wet sound of their joining filled the chamber. Outside, the kingdom continued its uneasy day.
Inside, Vara rode him with the focused intensity of a woman who understood that every claim might be the last clean one she could make before the next blood.
She came with a sharp, shaking cry, body clamping around him.
The pull of it dragged Korr over the edge her.
He held her hips and spilled deep while she kept moving through it, drawing every pulse.
Afterward she stayed seated on him, forehead against his, breathing slowing together.
"Leave at dusk," she said quietly.
"Take only the men you trust with your back. Walk the trails the captive spoke of.
If the Hollow Kin have left more than tracks, I want to know before Elka can turn the knowledge into another cut."
Korr touched the fresh marks his hands had left on her skin. "I will."
She lifted off him, cleaned herself with a soft hide cloth, and tossed it to him.
The bone necklace settled again between her breasts.
For a moment the Matron’s mask eased, and something closer to real concern showed beneath it.
"The ground is shifting faster than I wanted," she said.
"Do not become the next piece that breaks!"
