Tycoon: I Have an Unlimited Modifier

Chapter 577: Let the Music and Dancing Go On

  • Next Chapter

Heavy curtains concealed the steamy sight within the presidential suite.

On the messy white sheets, a tall man held an equally tall and voluptuous woman in his arms.

“Mmm, don’t… You’re poking me.”

Ding Wei, still groggy, patted Qi Sheng.

“It’s getting late. Time for another set of squats.”

With his Max-Level Physique, Qi Sheng was naturally bursting with energy, and he had a stunningly hot woman in his arms.

It would have been strange if he *wasn’t* aroused.

“So annoying. You do all the work.”

Ding Wei mumbled, stubbornly refusing to open her eyes.

Anyway, she gave up. She would let Qi Sheng do as he pleased.

By the time Qi Sheng emerged from the room, looking refreshed and invigorated…

…Liu Rong and her daughter were already in the dining area. They had finished washing up and were having breakfast.

“Daddy~”

Tang Guo happily jumped down from her chair and ran toward Qi Sheng on her short little legs.

“This little girl is insisting that you take her to school. She won’t listen to a word I say.”

Liu Rong’s cheeks were flushed, and the delicate glow she had after being sated by a man made her even more alluring.

“It’s no problem.”

Qi Sheng easily scooped up Tang Guo and sat down beside Liu Rong.

“Daddy, do you not like Aunt Ding?”

Tang Guo asked curiously, blinking her big eyes as she sat in Qi Sheng’s lap.

“Why do you say that?”

Qi Sheng wiped his hands, a little curious.

“Because yesterday, I kept hearing Aunt Ding crying and shouting, begging you to spare her…”

Tang Guo looked at Qi Sheng with a pitiful expression.

“Daddy, please don’t hit Mommy, okay?”

“Don’t worry, sweetie. Daddy loves Mommy more than anything.”

Qi Sheng said gently, ruffling Tang Guo’s hair.

“Mmm-hmm, Daddy’s the best!”

Only then did Tang Guo feel relieved, and she went back to obediently eating her food.

“This child…”

Liu Rong didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, feeling both touched and helpless.

After breakfast, Qi Sheng took Tang Guo to her kindergarten.

Liu Rong stayed behind to look after Ding Wei, who had been completely worn out by Qi Sheng.

“Weiwei, are you okay?”

Seeing that it was already noon, Liu Rong entered the master bedroom and looked at the utter mess on the carpet.

Ding Wei’s clothes had been torn to shreds.

“Rongrong, can you get me a bottle of water?”

Hunger had woken Ding Wei up, and she spoke in a hoarse voice.

“Just a moment.”

Liu Rong quickly returned with a bottle of water. She twisted it open, handed it to Ding Wei, and added a gentle reminder.

“Drink slowly, don’t choke.”

GULP, GULP…

Ding Wei’s mouth was incredibly dry. She downed the entire bottle in an instant and only then began to feel a little more human.

“Rongrong, thank you for staying behind to take care of me.”

Ding Wei looked at Liu Rong, her expression a mixture of awkwardness and guilt.

“It’s nothing. We’re sisters now, after all. But… were you really still intact?”

Liu Rong asked with a curious smile, shaking her head.

“Well… my ex-husband was much older, and he was… maybe a quarter of his size.”

“Anyway, I didn’t feel much of anything before he was done. And somehow, I got pregnant not long after.”

Ding Wei had no intention of hiding it and told Liu Rong the honest truth.

“So, what are you thinking about for the future?”

Her curiosity satisfied, Liu Rong asked about Ding Wei’s thoughts on the relationship.

“I haven’t really thought about it yet. Sister Rong, what do you think I should do?”

Before, Ding Wei had only planned on using her intimate relationship with Qi Sheng as a chance to make a bit of money, and that would have been enough.

But seeing how well Qi Sheng treated Liu Rong and how much he doted on Tang Guo, she couldn’t help but start having other ideas.

“Your situation is different from mine. You’re already quite wealthy, you have a tycoon for an ex-husband, and most importantly, you have a son.”

Liu Rong analyzed Ding Wei’s situation objectively.

“If you’re just in it for the money, then you don’t need to overthink it. He definitely won’t treat you poorly.”

“But if you want to be like me and carve out a real place in his heart…”

“…then I’m afraid you’ll have to choose between your son and him. No man is willing to raise another man’s son.”

As one of Qi Sheng’s lovers, Liu Rong naturally understood him very well.

If Ding Wei had a daughter, Qi Sheng might have treated the child just like Tang Guo.

But she had a son, and no matter how magnanimous a man might be, he could never treat another’s son as his own.

“I understand.”

Ding Wei nodded with a bitter smile, though she didn’t really have any regrets.

After all, without her son, her ex-husband would never have been so generous with child support.

Hundreds of millions in cash, luxury cars, a villa—he had generously given it all to her.

All of this, of course, was because she had given him a son.

This was especially true for a tycoon who lacked a male heir to inherit the family fortune.

What was a little money like that in comparison? It was better than having some other man reap the benefits after he died.

It was just like with Jobs, who left his wife a massive inheritance.

In the end, his wife ends up sleeping with another man, and the money he earned gets spent by another man.

‘The thought alone is infuriating.’

Seeing that Ding Wei was lost in thought, Liu Rong didn’t disturb her further.

She stepped out of the room to tell the housekeeper to prepare lunch, then grabbed her purse and left.

Ding Wei was startled from her thoughts by a knock on the door from the housekeeper.

She began picking up her underwear, which was scattered all over the floor.

She saw that her once-fair, full chest was now covered in hickeys left by a certain someone.

Blushing, Ding Wei cursed under her breath and walked out of the room, her steps a little heavy.

“Ms. Ding, the madam has already ordered your lunch. It’s on the lighter side. Would you like to make any adjustments?”

The housekeeper knew Ms. Ding had a chance of becoming the boss’s new lady, so her smile was particularly accommodating.

“No need.”

Ding Wei sat at the dining table, absently picking at the sumptuous lunch.

Before she knew it, she had finished more than half of the dishes on the table.

She’d never had an appetite like this before.

It just went to show how thoroughly Qi Sheng had ravaged her.

It would be no exaggeration to say she was black and blue all over.
