Chapter 255: Not Worth It

And so, Su Nuannuan was kicked all the way to the city-state’s main gate like a soccer ball.

Su Nuannuan was beaten black and blue, dizzy and disoriented from the kicking. She had no idea where she was.

He hadn’t even finished speaking when the thing—a tangled mess whose head was caked in white bird droppings—rolled to a stop in front of him. A look of revulsion crossed his face, and he quickly dodged to the side. “A thing like this… Luoluo, why would you even bring it back?” he asked, disgusted.

Fu Feng clutched his nose, trying to get some fresh air. “Exactly. And let me be clear, I’m not taking her.”

‘Just looking at something so filthy is nauseating.’ Fu Feng felt that if he had to take her back, he’d lose his appetite for days.

Su Luoluo hadn’t expected Su Nuannuan to end up in such a ghastly state either. It looked as if she’d been targeted by a flock of birds.

‘To be honest, even I find her a bit repulsive, but I can’t just leave her here. If I don’t deal with her, she’s bound to stir up more trouble.’

‘If we go back like this and Cai Xia sees us, how could she ever like us?’

Seeing that Yi De, Er De, and San De were also unwilling, Su Luoluo sighed.

‘This really is a tricky situation. It’s only natural for people to be repulsed by such a filthy sight.’

To ensure she wouldn’t be dragged to death, the three had made a simple preparation: they left a thick cushion of leaves on the vine so she wasn’t in direct contact with the ground.

Even so, Su Nuannuan was far from comfortable. Her head was thrown about, making her see stars and feel like her brains were being scrambled.

Worse, the dried bird droppings caked in her hair would occasionally fly off and land in her eyes and on her face, an agony that made her wish for death.

Su Luoluo got on Mo Xuan’s back, and they too headed for the tribe.

And so, the group returned to the tribe.
