Chapter 122: Chapter 122: If One Comes, I’ll Slaughter One; If Two Come, I’ll Slaughter a Pair

Liao Yu’s legs suddenly gave out, and he knelt directly before Jia Hai.

"Liao Guardian, you..." Seeing Liao Yu kneeling before Jia Hai, Cui Biao cried out in shock from behind. He never imagined that Liao Yu could be so spineless.

Liao Yu turned, glared at Cui Biao, and shouted, "What ’you’?! Get over here and kneel! Do you have to piss off Jia Jingang and get everyone killed because of you?"

Cui Biao looked at Liao Yu and declared, resolute, "I, Cui Biao, will die on my feet. I will never live on my knees."

Behind him, Scarface and the others shouted in unison, "That’s right! We’d rather die on our feet than live on our knees!"

"You..." Liao Yu was furious. He shot a hateful glare at Cui Biao and the others, then quickly turned back to Jia Hai with a sycophantic smile.

"Jia Jingang, I, Liao Yu, hereby renounce the Dragon King Pavilion! I have nothing more to do with them. I don’t want to be dragged down by them. I am willing to kneel and surrender to you. Please, spare me!"

Seeing Liao Yu’s groveling, servile appearance, Cui Biao and the others grew so angry their eyes turned red.

Looking at the kneeling Liao Yu, Jia Hai burst into wild laughter. The next moment, his laughter stopped abruptly. He looked at Cui Biao and his men and said coldly:

"Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish. You will all die here today!"

The moment he finished speaking, a cold voice rang out from behind Cui Biao, "Ants like you, daring to kick up such a fuss. You’ve gotten far too arrogant."

That single sentence nearly made Liao Yu piss his pants. He whirled around to look behind Cui Biao and shrieked:

"Who is it?! Who’s so bold as to be disrespectful to Jia Jingang?"

’Jia Hai was clearly ready to let me go, but this blind fool had to jump out and cause trouble. If he really pisses off Jia Hai, Jia Hai might get so angry he won’t even spare me!’

He was furious. Absolutely livid.

"That would be me." Ye Feng walked over slowly, his hands clasped behind his back.

Seeing it was Ye Feng, Liao Yu’s lungs nearly exploded with rage. He glared at Ye Feng and roared angrily, "At a time like this, what are you trying to prove? You think this is the Dragon King Pavilion, where everyone gives you face just because you’re the Pavilion Master?

"Let me tell you, it’s not! This is a battlefield, a place where you can die at any second, understand?"

The moment Liao Yu finished speaking, Jia Hai burst out laughing. "The Young Pavilion Master of the Dragon King Pavilion. I never thought I’d corner a big fish like you here today. Tell me, if I were to post a video of you kneeling and kowtowing to me online, what kind of expressions do you think the people of Dragon King Pavilion would have? Oh, I’m really looking forward to that, haha..."

But in the next instant, Ye Feng flicked his right hand, and the cigarette butt shot directly into Jia Hai’s throat.

"Hahaha, haha... AARGH... PTUI PTUI..." Jia Hai’s laughter stopped abruptly, quickly turning into a scream. He hurriedly spat out the cigarette butt, clutching his throat as he coughed violently.

The cigarette butt was still burning brightly. Who could withstand having that shot directly into their throat?

Ye Feng looked at the violently coughing Jia Hai and said with a faint smile, "Weren’t you having a good laugh? Go on, keep laughing. Let me see you laugh again."

Nearby, Liao Yu was scared witless watching Ye Feng. His mouth hung open, but he couldn’t utter a word.

’How dare he provoke Jia Hai like that? He’s courting death! He must have a death wish!’

At this moment, Jia Hai finally managed to stop coughing. He snapped his head up, stared at Ye Feng, and said menacingly:

"I was going to spare your life, but I see you’re determined to die. Fine, I’ll grant your wish today!"

After speaking, he lunged at Ye Feng. Reaching him, he swung his fist and brought it down fiercely.

Nearby, Liao Yu shook his head and lamented mournfully, ’He’s just a rich kid who got his position through connections. Does he really think he’s some powerful big shot? Does he really think he’s so tough?’

’Trying to provoke Jia Jingang... you won’t survive today. One might survive a calamity from the heavens, but never the disaster of one’s own making...’

The moment the thought crossed his mind, a black shadow abruptly appeared in front of Ye Feng. In the next instant, he watched, wide-eyed, as the newcomer raised his right hand, caught Jia Hai’s fist with lightning speed, swung him high into the air, and smashed him violently onto the ground.

With a deafening CRASH, Liao Yu watched as a human-shaped crater was blasted into the concrete. Stuck inside it, Jia Hai let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Only then did Liao Yu see clearly. The one who had acted was the big man standing behind Ye Feng, the one with a foolish look on his face who wouldn’t draw anyone’s attention: Ah Dao.

Liao Yu’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. He never imagined that this foolish-looking giant possessed such terrifying strength—to take down Jia Hai, a Tier Four Martial Venerable whom even he couldn’t handle, in a single move. ’Th-this... how is this possible?’

Jia Hai finally realized he had messed with the wrong person. All his arrogance vanished. He looked at Ah Dao and shrieked, "Hero, I was wrong! Please, I beg you, spare me!"

Ah Dao looked at him and shouted unhappily, "You tried to bully my big brother. How could I possibly spare you!"

With that, he grabbed Jia Hai and smashed him into the concrete ground once more.

Already heavily injured, Jia Hai couldn’t take it anymore. Every bone in his body was shattered, his internal organs ruptured from the impact. He let out one last scream, vomited a large mouthful of blood, convulsed for a moment, and then went still.

The men from the Martial Arts Association behind Jia Hai looked on, their eyes practically falling out of their heads. The great Jia Hai, Jia Jingang, one of the sixteen Vajras of the Martial Arts Association and a Tier Four Martial Venerable, had just been beaten to death. This was just too terrifying.

They watched Ah Dao stride toward them, their legs went weak with fear, and they all fell to their knees, kowtowing and begging for mercy.

At this point, Ye Feng finally spoke up. "Spare them. Let them go back and tell the Martial Arts Association not to mess with me again. Otherwise, if they send one, I’ll kill one. If they send two, I’ll kill a pair. Tell them to try me if they don’t believe it!"

Seeing Ah Dao stop in his tracks, the men from the Martial Arts Association let out a long sigh of relief, kowtowed to Ye Feng, and got up, ready to leave.

But Cui Biao, standing behind them, spoke up through gritted teeth. "A message isn’t enough. You dared to cause trouble here today, so you must pay the price.

"An arm from each of you. Will you do it yourselves, or should I?"

The men all turned their heads, their eyes pleading as they looked at Ye Feng.

But Ye Feng didn’t even spare them a glance.

The men finally understood that they wouldn’t be keeping their arms today. They gritted their teeth, raised their machetes, and brought them down on their own left arms.

A series of muffled grunts followed, and then blood splattered everywhere amidst a flurry of severed limbs.

"Get lost!" Cui Biao roared. The men scrambled away in a panic.

Scarface came over, threw his arms around Ah Dao, and said with a hearty laugh, "Brother, that was amazing! With you here, our Jiangcheng Dragon King Pavilion is safe!"

Cui Biao came over and hugged Ah Dao as well, unwilling to let go. "Brother, stay by my side. I’ll pay any price."

But Ah Dao’s next words left Cui Biao completely dumbfounded.
