"Luo Chang, what do you want?" Su Feng’s expression darkened when she saw him blocking her path.

Luo Chang cut right to the chase. "Su Feng, I love you. Marry me."

With that, he dropped to one knee before Su Feng and held up a diamond ring.

Su Feng’s expression turned cold, and she rejected him flatly. "Luo Chang, I’ll say it again: we’re not a good match. I hope you find someone better than me. Goodbye."

She then tried to walk past Luo Chang and leave.

"Don’t you dare leave." Luo Chang’s face twisted into a ferocious scowl. He shot to his feet, blocking Su Feng’s way again, his eyes bloodshot. "Su Feng, I’m telling you right now, whether you agree or not, you’re agreeing today."

Su Feng laughed coldly. "Luo Chang, you’ve gotten bold, haven’t you? Well, let me tell you, I’m not agreeing today. What are you going to do about it?"

Luo Chang stared at Su Feng and let out a sinister laugh. "Su Feng, I came here today with two plans. One, you agree, and we all live happily ever after. Two, you don’t... in which case, I’ll have to use force."

"I’ll record the whole thing. Then, if you ever dare to defy me, I’ll post the video online. I’ll make you famous. Tell me, would you dare to disobey me then? HA HA..."

With that, he advanced on Su Feng.

Su Feng backed away, screaming, "Luo Chang, you bastard! If you dare lay a finger on me today, I’ll never forgive you!"

Luo Chang gave a sinister smile and kept advancing.

Su Feng was backed into a corner with nowhere left to retreat.

Luo Chang slammed a hand against the wall, trapping Su Feng. He smiled grimly. "Baby, tonight, I’m going to make you my woman."

With that, he leaned in to kiss her face.

Su Feng struggled to dodge, screaming, "Help! Somebody, help me!"

Luo Chang smiled grimly. "Do you know why I picked this place? Let me tell you, this hotel is one of the Luo family’s properties. Everyone here works for my family. Even if you scream until your throat is raw, no one will come to save you. So, you might as well accept your fate."

With that, he suddenly grabbed Su Feng, pulling her into an embrace as his mouth lunged for her cheek.

Su Feng struggled desperately, but she was no match for Luo Chang’s grip. As his face drew near, she closed her eyes in defeat, tears of humiliation streaming from the corners.

’I can’t escape this animal’s clutches today. My whole life is about to be ruined by this piece of scum.’

But just as she was consumed by despair, the door was kicked open, and someone walked in.

Su Feng opened her eyes and saw that it was Ye Feng.

Instantly, she was like a drowning person grabbing a lifeline. She shrieked, "Ye Feng, help! Help me!"

Luo Chang turned to face Ye Feng and said coldly, "You already took my money. You should stay out of this!"

Ye Feng looked at Luo Chang and chuckled. "Your money? I don’t want it. You can have it back!"

With that, he pulled out the bank card. With a flick of his finger, the card shot through the air in a flash of white light. THWACK! It pinned Luo Chang’s right hand to the wall.

"AHHH..." Luo Chang let out a bloodcurdling scream. He quickly used his left hand to pull the card out. His right hand was a bloody mess, a gruesome sight.

Seizing the opportunity, Su Feng tore herself from Luo Chang’s grasp and stumbled behind Ye Feng, trembling uncontrollably.

Ye Feng said calmly, "Don’t worry. As long as I’m here, he can’t touch you."

"You? Who the hell do you think you are, ruining my plans? You’re asking to die!"

With that, he roared toward the door, "Men! Get in here!"

The words had barely left his mouth when a group of security guards rushed in.

Luo Chang pointed at Ye Feng, his eyes bloodshot as he roared, "Cripple this bastard for me!"

The guards yelled in affirmation, raising their rubber batons and charging at Ye Feng.

Su Feng cried out reflexively, "Ye Feng, watch out!"

The words were barely out of her mouth when she heard Ye Feng roar, "Kneel!"

The moment he spoke, the guards let out bloodcurdling screams. Their rubber batons CLATTERED to the floor. Then, THUD, THUD, they all fell to their knees, heads bowed and bodies shaking violently as blood poured from their noses and mouths.

Ye Feng looked at Su Feng and said calmly, "See? I told you that as long as I’m here, nothing will happen."

Luo Chang stared at Ye Feng, scarcely able to believe his eyes.

’These guards are all hired mercenaries. Any one of them could take on ten men. But in front of Ye Feng, they folded like they were made of paper, taken down by a single shout? This... how is this possible?!’

He stared at Ye Feng as if he were seeing a ghost. "You... who in the world are you? How are you so strong?"

Ye Feng looked at Luo Chang and said calmly, "Luo Chang, is it? It’s one thing to be a playboy, but it’s another to be a degenerate. If you had just tried to date Su Feng properly, I wouldn’t have laid a hand on you. But you tried to force yourself on her and even threatened her with a video. For that, I can’t let you go."

With that, he hooked a stool with his right foot and kicked it forward with explosive force.

The stool smashed directly into Luo Chang’s knee.

With a sickening CRACK, Luo Chang’s kneecap shattered. He let out a piercing scream and fell to the ground with a THUD, writhing in a rapidly growing pool of blood.

Ye Feng turned to leave. As he passed Su Feng, he said calmly, "This is your business. You handle it. I’ll wait for you outside."

With that, he turned and left.

He hadn’t gone far when he heard Su Feng’s furious roar from the room: "You piece of scum! You wanted to ruin me? Go to hell!"

A loud CRASH was followed by another one of Luo Chang’s agonized screams. Soon after, the room fell silent.

The corner of Ye Feng’s mouth curled into a slight smile. He walked to his car and lit a cigarette. He had taken only a couple of puffs when he saw Su Feng run out, spattered with blood.

Ye Feng dropped his cigarette, got in the car, and once Su Feng was seated, he started the engine. He floored the gas, and the car sped off toward Hundred Herbs Hall.

Su Feng looked at Ye Feng, her previously defiant gaze now filled with nothing but gratitude.

She bit her lip and said to Ye Feng, "Ye Feng, thank you for what you did today. If it weren’t for you, that piece of scum would have completely ruined me."

Ye Feng chuckled. "Su Feng, spare me the useless talk. If you just promise to stop interfering in my business with Ningning, I’ll consider that thanks enough."

"You..." Su Feng glared at Ye Feng, about to flare up in anger, but in the next moment, she sighed. Her eyes were red as she said, "Ye Feng, I wasn’t trying to be malicious when I got in your way. I was just worried because Ningning is so innocent. I was afraid you’d take advantage of her and then cast her aside."

"Ye Feng, as long as you and Ningning get married, I swear I won’t interfere in the slightest after the wedding. I keep my word."

Ye Feng shot Su Feng a look. "I have important things to do. If I wait until after a big wedding with Ningning, it’ll be too late."

"Are you in that much of a hurry to have Ningning?" Su Feng glared at him, on the verge of losing her temper again. But then she remembered that he was her savior, and her anger instantly vanished.

She pondered for a moment, then suddenly looked up and said something.

Hearing Su Feng’s words, Ye Feng’s hands jerked on the steering wheel, and he nearly drove the car into a ditch.
