Chapter 344: Chapter 344: He Is Not Worthy of Me

The crowd behind could only watch, wide-eyed, as Ye Feng’s right hand ruthlessly tightened before Li Hao could even finish speaking.

A sickening CRUNCH of breaking bone echoed as Li Hao’s neck was snapped.

Ye Feng looked down at Li Hao and spoke calmly, "You had designs on my fiancée and still thought you could live? You don’t get to live."

Seeing that bastard Li Hao finally get what he deserved, Xia Xingyu felt a great sense of relief.

She started to see Ye Feng in a much better light.

But a moment later, her fine brows knitted together. "This is bad. You’ve killed the Prince of Yue Country. The old King of Yue won’t let this go. He’s sure to return with an even larger army! We’ll be in even greater danger!"

Just then, Ye Feng’s phone began to ring urgently.

Ye Feng answered the phone, and Wolf Fang’s powerful, resonant voice came through. "Commander, Yue Country is crippled. We await your command to wipe them out!"

Ye Feng ended the call, turned to Xia Xingyu, and said with a wide smile, "Did you hear that? Yue Country will never be able to trouble you again."

"You’re the commander of the Qilin Battalion!" Xia Xingyu cried out in surprise, staring at Ye Feng.

Ye Feng smiled and nodded.

Xia Xingyu’s beautiful eyes flew wide. ’This guy has an identity like that!’

The deputy commanders of the eleven nations to the rear felt their scalps go numb. He was the commander of the Qilin Battalion, and on top of that, he was backed by Meng Jiaxin, the War God of the Great Xia Empire. The man truly had the power to destroy nations!

The eleven deputy commanders couldn’t take it anymore. They all fell to their knees before Ye Feng, kowtowing and begging for mercy.

"Lord Commander, we submit! We will return and report to our kings, and we swear we will never again set foot in Malaysia!"

Ye Feng looked at the eleven deputy commanders and spoke calmly:

"You deployed troops to Malaysia, tried to carve it up, and bullied my fiancée. You think a simple apology settles the score? You’re dreaming. Go back and deliver a message for me. From now on, your eleven nations will forever be vassals to Malaysia. You will pay tribute annually and present yourselves at court every year. If anyone dares to disobey, what happened to Yue Country will be your cautionary tale! Now, get out!"

The eleven deputy commanders scrambled to their feet and fled in disarray.

Seeing the crisis had finally been resolved, an excited Xia Yanran ran up to Ye Feng, ready to throw her arms around him, but he pushed her away with a look of distaste.

"I’ve told you before, saliva spreads germs. Why can’t you remember that?"

’What the hell!’ Xia Yanran stared at Ye Feng, practically bursting with anger.

Just then, Xia Chuan came over, laughing heartily. "The crisis in Malaysia is finally over! Let’s go, back to the palace! I’m throwing a grand banquet tonight to celebrate!"

The group quickly returned to the Malaysian royal palace.

Xia Xingyu had already made the arrangements in advance. The banquet was set, and everyone drank to their heart’s content.

At that moment, Yang Hai came over, raised his glass to Ye Feng, and said respectfully:

"Grand Marshal, I’d like to propose a toast to you!"

This time, Ye Feng had single-handedly annihilated nearly the entire ten-million-strong army of the twelve-nation coalition, while Malaysia’s soldiers suffered almost no casualties. For this, Yang Hai’s admiration for Ye Feng knew no bounds, and his toast was utterly sincere.

Ye Feng raised his glass, clinked it against Yang Hai’s, and drained it in one gulp.

Many soldiers came to toast Ye Feng. After a few rounds, he had drunk several dozen glasses.

He was in high spirits tonight and didn’t use his Inner Strength to resist the alcohol, so he was starting to get quite drunk.

Just then, Xia Chuan picked up his glass, raised it toward Ye Feng, and said with a smile:

"Ye Feng, your contribution in repelling the twelve-nation coalition was immense. I toast you!"

Ye Feng raised his glass, clinked it with Xia Chuan’s, and said with a laugh, "Thank you, Elder!"

With that, he raised his glass and drained it.

Then, Xia Yanran also picked up her glass, raised it to Ye Feng, and said with a charming smile:

"Ye Feng, I’d like to toast you as well!"

"Thanks, wifey!" Ye Feng slurred, his breath reeking of alcohol.

Tonight, Xia Yanran had changed into an evening gown identical to Xia Xingyu’s. Since they were twin sisters, they already looked almost exactly the same.

In his drunken haze, Ye Feng had mistaken Xia Yanran for Xia Xingyu, hence the joke.

Xia Yanran froze for a moment, then giggled and said:

"I can be your wife. Do you want me?"

Her tone made him pause. Ye Feng rubbed his eyes and took a closer look. "Holy crap, you’re Xia Yanran."

Everyone around them erupted in laughter.

Further back, Xia Xingyu’s brow furrowed slightly. A flash of displeasure was visible in her eyes, but she quickly concealed it. She raised her glass toward Ye Feng and said sincerely, "Ye Feng, thank you for driving back the coalition forces. I toast you to show my gratitude."

Ye Feng looked at Xia Xingyu and slurred, his breath heavy with alcohol, "Xia Xingyu, isn’t it about time you made good on your promise and let me see your ass?"

"You’ve gone too far!" Xia Xingyu’s pretty face instantly darkened.

How could Xia Xingyu possibly tolerate Ye Feng acting like a hooligan in front of the entire royal court?

Seeing Xia Xingyu’s fury, everyone looked at Ye Feng with worry in their eyes.

But Ye Feng just let out a drunken breath and said, "Xia Xingyu, we had a deal. I help you defeat the enemy, you let me see your ass. You can’t go back on your word..."

"How insolent!" Xia Xingyu erupted in fury.

But just then, Xia Chuan came over, waved a dismissive hand at Xia Xingyu, and then turned to Ye Feng with a smile. "Ah, Ye Feng, think about it. How can a young lady let a man just look at... that place? So, you should at least marry our Xingyu first. After that, whatever you two want to do, well, it’ll be up to you."

But Xia Chuan had barely finished speaking when Xia Xingyu cut him off coldly, "Marry him? Impossible. He did indeed perform a great service by repelling the enemy, but we’re practically strangers. We have no relationship and know nothing about each other. I can’t just give myself to him like this."

Ye Feng looked at Xia Xingyu and suddenly let out a dry laugh. "So, you use me up and then toss me aside? What do you take me for, toilet paper?"

Ouyang Qiu, who was standing nearby, stepped in front of Ye Feng and said to Xia Xingyu, "Your Majesty, you two are not unrelated. In fact, you and Xiaofeng have long been engaged."

Upon hearing this, Xia Chuan’s eyes lit up. He looked at Ye Feng and asked hurriedly, "You’re the disciple of the Old Immortal of the Kunlun Sacred Ruins?"

Ye Feng nodded slightly.

Xia Chuan burst out laughing. "Haha, so we’re family after all! Silly child, why didn’t you say so sooner? You’ve made things so awkward."

He turned to Xia Xingyu with a smile. "Granddaughter, it’s true. Years ago, that old immortal visited us here in Malaysia and gave our country a great deal of help. To express my gratitude, I was the one who arranged this marriage contract for you!"

But Xia Xingyu’s voice was cold. "Grandfather, I’ll say it again. He helped Malaysia, and I must show my gratitude. A high-ranking position, a handsome fortune, anything. But not my hand in marriage.

"As for the marriage contract, I’m calling it off. Because he is not worthy of me."

Hearing this, Xia Chuan grew angry. He glared at Xia Xingyu and shouted, "In what way is Ye Feng not worthy of you?"
