Li Jun finally snapped out of it. He shrieked, spun around, and tried to run, but he hadn’t taken more than a few steps before Cui Biao caught up and kicked him to the ground. Cui Biao raised his foot and planted it on his neck. No matter how much Li Jun struggled, he couldn’t break free.

Fear finally gripped him. He turned his head and shrieked:

"I’m begging you, please let me go! I’ll never dare to cross you again!"

Cui Biao let out a cold laugh. "Thinking of begging for mercy now? Too late!

Kid, your fate was sealed the moment you decided to get revenge on Sir. Just stay right here."

As he spoke, he slammed his right foot down. With a sickening CRACK of breaking bone, Li Jun’s body convulsed for a moment, then went still. Cui Biao had crushed his neck.

Cui Biao then had his men take their injured brother to the hospital before turning to Ye Feng with a smile. "Sir, it’s all taken care of. Shall we?"

Ye Feng nodded and, supporting Wang Luyao, headed outside.

Cui Biao quickly caught up to Ah Dao, pulled out a bank card, and handed it to him with a broad, fawning smile.

"Brother, take this. Buy yourself some good tea!"

’This giant is a walking weapon. If I could get him on my side, I’d be ecstatic.’

But Ah Dao just shook his head. "I don’t drink tea."

Cui Biao’s eyes lit up with another idea. He gave Ah Dao a sly grin. "Alright, brother, how about women? Want me to arrange a few for you tonight?"

’All men care about is money and women. Since he won’t take money, it must be women he’s after.’

But Ah Dao shook his head again. "I don’t like women. I’m just hungry."

But Ah Dao’s next words nearly knocked Cui Biao off his feet. Ah Dao shook his head and said, "I don’t like any of that stuff. I only like my Big Bro’s cooking."

Cui Biao’s face fell instantly. ’This guy is impossible to poach!’

The group got into the car and quickly drove away.

Ye Feng and the others didn’t notice a car parked not far away.

Inside, a woman was aiming her phone at them, snapping picture after picture.

The car pulled up in front of the Angel Clothing Company. Wang Luyao got out, looked at Ye Feng, and bit her lip. Blushing, she asked:

"Ye Feng, I’ll go to a hotel and wait for you. It’s time to settle our bet."

From the moment Ye Feng had risked everything to save her, Wang Luyao had fallen deeply in love with him. She had already decided to give herself to him completely.

With that said, she shyly turned and walked away.

Ye Feng nodded and was about to get out of the car to follow when his phone rang insistently. He glanced at the screen before answering, and Xiao Yufei’s cold voice came through the receiver.

Then she slammed the phone down.

Ye Feng watched her and chuckled. "Yufei, did hell freeze over? Why the sudden urge to treat me to dinner? Thanks for the offer, but I’m good. I just want the Jade Pendant!"

Xiao Yufei glared at him and snapped, "Treat you to dinner? In your dreams!"

Her anger finally boiling over, she pulled a stack of photos from her purse and SLAMMED them onto the table in front of him. She roared in fury:

"Look at what you’ve done! Just look!"

Ye Feng picked up the photos. They were all intimate shots of him carrying Wang Luyao on his back.

He glanced at them, pushed them away, and leaned back in his chair, asking nonchalantly, "So what?"

Seeing his nonchalant attitude, Xiao Yufei felt like she was going to explode. She glared at him, bellowing in a rage:

"You ask ’so what?’ Ye Feng, I warned you to be more discreet! But you just get more and more brazen, openly getting cozy with that woman and even letting one of my own employees take pictures! Do you have any idea how much of a laughingstock I’ve become because of you?

He turned to leave, but after a few steps, he froze. He turned back around, his eyes locking onto Xiao Yufei.

The moment he saw her stunningly beautiful face, his eyes lit up.
