Undead Mage: I Have a Skeleton Clone
Chapter 1082: Gathering of Demons, Overwhelming Ferocity, Skyrocketing Reputation (Part 2)
Now that someone has stepped up, naturally everyone agrees with this statement.
“So what do you want?” Seeing that everyone agrees, Pantheon pretends to be very troubled and says.
“Everyone earns their living based on their skills, naturally it’s about showing real talent under pressure. We, the Blade, will act as the villains! As long as Storm can satisfy us in a duel, our brotherhood will apologize for what happened earlier and recognize your qualification to participate in this action. But if you can’t show real skill, then please go back to where you came from and don’t embarrass yourselves anymore.”
Talon said arrogantly, it seems he is very confident in his own strength.
“Okay, duel! Duel!”
Upon hearing Talon’s proposal, those watching for entertainment shouted loudly.
“And what does the leader Svein think?” Pantheon said with a conspiratorial look.
Svein opened his mouth but hadn’t spoken yet, watching Pantheon and Talon seem like they were acting in harmony, Fang Zhou’s eyes flashed coldly, and he directly took over the topic, “Since leader Talon is so interested, let’s accompany him for some practice.”
The dueling area was quickly cleared.
Blade and Storm finally decided to determine the winner with three rounds, and the losing side would automatically withdraw from this operation targeting the Noxus logistics transfer station.
Although before the duel, Pantheon repeatedly emphasized hypocritically not to hurt brotherly harmony, everyone knew this was bound to be a life-and-death fight.
Talon brothers of the Blade Secret Cult deliberately targeted Storm this time not only because Pantheon of the Dragon Cave Secret Sect Rebel Army was secretly behind guiding it, but mainly because Storm recently annexed many small secret sect rebel armies that were dependencies of the Blade Secret Cult.
Storm’s actions severely damaged the Blade’s area of influence and core interests.
Otherwise, Talon wouldn’t be acting as a tool for Pantheon for free.
After discussing, Talon first sent out from Blade Secret Cult a demon bandit leader only weaker than the two brothers.
This short and strong leader is a Silver Upper Rank Frost Demon Descendant.
For secret sect rebel armies where talent is scarce, Silver Upper Rank is already top-notch strength.
Talon brothers planned to use him to show Storm Secret Cult a piece of Ma Wei.
On Storm’s side, it was Leng Feng who had long been impatiently sent out.
“Trash, come over and lick my toes.”
Under the cover of some suppressive marvels created by Fang Zhou, the Blade bandit leader couldn’t perceive Leng Feng’s real level.
As he entered he arrogantly displayed his Silver Battle Qi, beckoning to Leng Feng.
Beside them, the bandit leaders couldn’t help but burst into mocking laughter.
Leng Feng is a typical loyal warrior of the Lawful Good faction, feeling uncomfortable in this chaotic Dragon Cave base, bottled up with anger.
The bandit on the opposite side doesn’t know that his action is simply seeking death.
Add to this what Fang Zhou told Leng Feng “do not hold back” before going on stage, which made Leng Feng’s fighting spirit rise crazily.
Every warrior of the Calamity Special Operations Team has walked through life-and-death battles.
Each opponent usually belonged to the vastly outnumbered elite troops of the Calamity Sun Demon Country.
Accustomed to coordinated combat, Leng Feng’s burst of fighting intent carries a ready-to-advance meaning.
With his build-up, the air around the duel arena seems to condense, suffocating.
Spectators, including Pantheon and the three leaders, felt altered looking upon this scene.
Though Leng Feng has yet to reveal his Golden Battle Qi, they have never seen someone achieve this level with mere aura.
As fighting intent reached its peak, Leng Feng raised his focus high and, roaring, charged towards the Blade Secret Cult bandit leader with overwhelming momentum.
The bandit leader locked onto by Leng Feng’s momentum didn’t expect the opponent to be so strong.
But he, too, is a powerhouse who fought through storms and blood, naturally unwilling to sit and wait.
His eyes flashed a hint of ruthlessness; veins bulged on his hands; he summoned his battle qi throughout his body, and his war saber clashed upwards against the incoming giant sword.
“Clang!”
A thunderous clash of gold and iron, the bandit leader’s tiger mouth (part of the hand) cracked open, and the war saber flew out, piercing with white light through an observing bandit.
When everyone turned back to the arena, the fight had already ended.
The bandit leader who previously mocked Leng Feng was now showing an unbelievable expression, a blood line appearing on his forehead, splitting him neatly into two from head to toe.
“Ah?”
“How is this possible!”
The might of this sword intimidated everyone on site!
None expected Leng Feng to settle the opponent with a single sword, and so cleanly and swiftly.
Failing to assert dominance, instead, others were accomplished; Talon brothers’ faces turned bitterly ugly as if poisoned.
Only Fang Zhou had long predicted this outcome of the duel.
Leng Feng’s victory was honorable and plain.
Everyone saw that the Blade Secret Cult’s Silver Demon Descendant was killed prepared.
For the aggressive bandits’ nature, losing a person wasn’t a big deal.
They secretly rejoiced over Blade losing a capable aide, while quietly alarmed by Storm’s displayed strength.
The person Storm sent didn’t even release battle qi, yet relied on divine power to cleave a Silver Upper Rank Demon Descendant.
Could this be a Golden Level powerhouse?
At this moment, Leng Feng changed his previous gentle demeanor, contemptuously looked at the Talon brothers facing him and disdainfully said, “Known far and wide, the Blade looks just like this. Leader Talon, don’t send more subordinates out to die, spare yourself by coming up in the next two rounds.”
Talon’s brother, Tyro, with a fiery temper, hearing Leng Feng’s taunt and fueled by his subordinate’s death, jumped out fervently, “Fine, I’ll do it myself, let me see what skills Storm has!”
Leng Feng, looking at Tyro shouting in the arena like a dead man, dashed towards Tyro as if weightless, already igniting Golden Battle Qi on his giant sword.
“Golden Powerhouse!!!”
Watching Leng Feng’s giant sword ablaze with golden weaponry, all Secret Cult rebel leaders looked aghast.
None expected that Storm Secret Cult contained a Golden Powerhouse.
Even Storm’s Svein was surprised to now realize that Leng Feng, who followed him for days, was a Golden Powerhouse.
Talon brothers had already turned pale; only now did they realize they provoked an unprovokable person, but it’s late by this point.
“Please show mercy.” Pantheon urgently shouted.
While he wanted to use Talon brothers to investigate Fang Zhou and Leng Feng’s true identities, he didn’t wish to see Tyro die right here.
Before Pantheon finished speaking, Leng Feng already rushed beside Tyro.
The giant sword swung down; Tyro, preparing to dodge, suddenly felt stuck, feet seeming mired.
In panic, he could only circulate silver battle qi faintly shimmering with gold throughout his body while raising his weapon to intercept the sword gleam.
“Ah!”
A piercing scream.
The golden giant sword, as if unstoppable, pierced Tyro’s defense, the thunderous force striking him three yards away, landing without a further sound, dead.
Another instant kill!
If Leng Feng’s earlier kill of the Blade leader was surprising, this absolute kill was a show of tier disparity.
Looking at Leng Feng, expressionless as if achieving something insignificant, a chill rose among all present, relieved it wasn’t themselves stepping up.
“You spoke too late, leader Pantheon!”
Leng Feng meaningfully glanced at the likewise shocked Pantheon, then turned to the petrified Talon coldly saying, “There’s still a third round, leader Talon!”
His tone indicated intent to annihilate Blade Secret Cult.
Facing such absolute power, previously arrogant Talon’s mouth turned bitter.
By nature indifferent, he never intended to avenge his brother, but facing Leng Feng’s unrelenting pressure, he was clueless about ending the mess he created.
Fortunately, Pantheon didn’t want Blade Secret Cult ruined here, nor did he want Storm Secret Cult flaunting power too much.
He stepped forward diplomatically, “Please stop, I think everyone here now believes Storm has ample strength to join us. You’ve won two rounds; I think the third round isn’t necessary.”
