Universe For All: I Am Mechanical Species
Chapter 110 Purple
Keon's mind rapidly mapped out the structural framework.
‘I can construct a full-scale Aegis Vault Ring around the equator of UHS4. The entire orbital ring will function as a continuous receptor network, receiving the focused solar energy beam directly from the HFC Satellites, converting the high-density energy, and transmitting it downward into the planet. The continuous energy bombardment will heat the gaseous atmosphere and trigger the transformation phase.’
He paused, refining the energy containment parameters.
‘Furthermore, I can anchor massive electromagnetic array nodes at the north and south poles using synthesized lightning crystals. They will generate a high-intensity planetary magnetic cage, preventing severe energy leakage and thermal dissipation during the transformation process.’
The moment the conceptual model was finalized, Keon dispatched the parameters through the Neural Nexus. In less than a second, the analytical sub-routines evaluated the physical variables, executed millions of structural simulations, and rendered a crisp, glowing blueprint overlay directly in his vision.

[Planetary Aegis Ring (PAR)]
Core Design A continuous, equatorial megastructure ring tethered purely by localized gravity and magnetic suspension. It serves as an omni-directional energy receptor that catches interstellar plasma beams, paired with twin atmospheric Polar Arrays to form a closed-loop thermal and magnetic incubation chamber around gaseous planets.
Size Planetary Circumference (Dynamically scales to the exact diameter of the target planet).
Materials/Components Equatorial Ring Hull: High-Density Luminous Crystal Plating (To withstand direct, continuous plasma-light bombardment).
Energy Transfer Nodes: Internal Elemental Crystal Matrices (To convert caught solar energy into directed thermal kinetic bombardment).
Polar Confinement Arrays: Colossal Lightning Crystal Electromagnetic Projectors (Attach to the north and south pole of the ring, capable of interchanging).
Structural Stabilizers: Swarms of Micrometer Nano Main Frames (Continuously repairing and dynamically adjusting the ring's orbit against extreme atmospheric drag and thermal expansion).
Function/Properties Acts as a system-scale receiver, intercepting trillions of terawatts of plasma-light beams sent from the Helios Focal Collectors. Bombards the gaseous atmosphere with hyper-concentrated thermal energy, forcibly heating the planet's core to initiate artificial planetary transformation and elemental fusion. Generates an absolute magnetic cage via the Lightning Crystal Polar Arrays, trapping all expanding gases and preventing energy or atmospheric leakage during the violent heating phase. Eliminates the need for a solid planetary crust by relying entirely on orbital mechanics and electromagnetic tethering.
Description: Evolving past the limitations of solid-ground architecture, the Planetary Aegis Ring encases a volatile world in a cage of metal and magnetism. It acts as both a receiver for limitless solar power and a planetary-scale forge, bombarding the swirling storms with enough thermal energy to ignite transformation while holding the resulting chaos perfectly contained within a cage of Lightning Crystal-generated electromagnetism.

Keon nodded slightly as his neural nexus completed the simulation loops for the Planetary Aegis Ring. The theoretical design was pristine, but the sheer physical scale was daunting. ‘Now I just have to gather the necessary resources to construct such a massive ring,’ he mused, his optical sensors flickering as he processed the spatial dimensions. ‘Although this planet spans over one hundred thousand kilometers in diameter, the structural ring itself needs only to be a few hundred meters wide.’
A swift directive pulsed through the Neural Nexus. He ordered the immediate harvesting of materials across the surrounding system to construct a fleet of SARS vessels, each pre-loaded with synthesized elemental crystals and refined alloy plating. ‘I will directly create this ring by lining the ships up nose-to-tail in an orbital lock,’ Keon calculated, a cold clarity settling into his processors. ‘It will require exactly one hundred and twenty thousand ships to completely encircle the planet's equatorial perimeter. It is the fastest possible construction method.’
Across Star System One, the response to his command was immediate. The small scanner probes stationed on every planetary body altered their flight vectors, swarming toward high-density resource nodes.
On UHS5 and UHS7... the star system's richest planet of liquid metal, gold, platinum, and silicate... the extraction reached a furious tempo. Swarms of micrometer nano-mainframes dismantled the raw terrain, combining with synthesized elemental crystals to construct SARS ships right on the surface. As each vessel was completed, its thrusters ignited, rising into orbit before setting a direct course toward UHS4.
‘Well, about three days,’ Keon estimated, running a timeline projection on the incoming logistics. The megastructure ring would be fully linked within seventy-two hours, setting the stage for the transformation phase. ‘I wonder how long the planetary transformation itself will take once the bombardment begins.’
He shifted his optical focus between the blinding central sun and the distant, shadowy disc of UHS4. Separated by 2.9 billion kilometers of vacuum, an energy beam traversing that expanse at light speed would take roughly two hours and forty-one minutes to reach its target.
‘Almost three hours for a single beam is really slow. I currently have six HFC Satellites stationed around the sun; I will eventually need to increase that count. Fortunately, this Aegis Ring architecture can handle far more concentrated energy beams compared to the polar obelisk design I drafted previously.’
A sharp, flickering light flashed through Keon’s green pupils as his internal sub-routines finalized the orbital calculations.
While the star system was developing according to his plan and expectations, countless long-range probes launched in continuous streams from every vector of the star system, accelerating toward the surrounding solar systems.
Keon retracted his primary consciousness, delegating fleet deployment, probing routines, and resource extraction to his subconscious processing routines. He shifted his gaze across the horizon toward the colossal silhouette of the Elemental Tree, which was currently bathing the planet's atmosphere in shimmering waves of raw Ether.
‘You will have to wait for a while,’ Keon thought silently, watching the radiant, hundred-meter canopy. ‘Once my planetary transformation experiment succeeds, I will begin the Great Merging and expansion of UHS1. It will provide you with the ideal environment to evolve into a true World Tree.’
Turning his attention to logistical monitoring, Keon opened the holographic projections of the primary warehouses storing massive reserves of quartz crystals. As the real-time feeds expanded before his visual field, a sudden ripple of surprise passed through his optical sensors.
‘So soon? I estimated it would take significantly longer for a red crystal to appear…’
Deep within the shimmering mounds of synthesized magic crystals, a faint, pulsing crimson glow caught his attention. But as he analyzed the telemetry, his green optical pupils suddenly shrank.
In one of the storage bays, nestled amidst the dense stacks of orange and red luminescence, he detected a different spectral signature... a barely noticeable, vibrant shade of deep violet.
He immediately magnified the visual feed, isolating the energy signature.
‘A purple crystal… is it a Tier 6?’
A sudden flare of genuine excitement illuminated Keon's optical sensors. Without hesitation, his physical exoshell dematerialized, flowing through the floor of the observation terrace before materializing directly inside the subterranean warehouse.
He walked with measured strides toward a massive containment bay, standing at its edge. Before him lay a vast mountain of glowing yellow, green, blue, and orange crystals filling the section to the brim, with faint red pulses flickering deep beneath the surface. Under Keon’s mental command, a swarm of micrometer nano-mainframes surged forward, moving like a liquid silver snake through the crystalline stacks. Seconds later, the nanites emerged, lifting a pristine, violet crystal and delivering it into his synthetic palm.
Keon gripped the crystal, measuring its dense energy signature in real time. The magic energy contained within was astonishingly heavy, nearly ten times more concentrated than the Tier 5 red crystal.
‘This is indeed a Tier 6 crystal,’ Keon thought, scrutinizing the rich purple luminescence radiating from its facets. ‘I didn't expect the color of a Tier 6 crystal to be purple; I assumed it might transition toward brown or black. Regardless of color, the fact that quartz has the potential to transform into a Tier 6 magic crystal is truly remarkable. Did Trosso know about this?’
He reflected on their past exchanges. ‘Although Trosso revealed to me years ago that the quartz found in my universe differs from the raw quartz of other candidate universes... possessing the unique capability to absorb magic energy and transform into magic crystals... he never explained the fundamental reason, nor did he mention that they could evolve into higher-tier magic crystals.’
Keon stared deeply into the heart of the purple crystal resting in his hand.
‘What is really the reason behind it? Why the quartz crystals found here possesses such properties? Also is this Tier 6 the ultimate limit of this transformation, or will there be Tier 7, Tier 8, Tier 9, or even Tier 10 magic crystals in the future?’
After pausing for a moment as his internal sub-routines logged all of these popping questions, Keon shook his head slightly, then stowed the purple magic crystal in his pocket and turned back toward the warehouse exit.
‘Anyway, I will find out soon enough. With the current Ether generation rate of the Elemental Tree, it won't take years.’
