Unrivaled in another world

Chapter 264: Ozamon Situation

[: 3rd POV :]

Knowing such a rare opportunity had presented itself, Daniel had no intention of letting it slip away.

Conquering through overwhelming force was certainly possible.

However, if he could save an entire world that had already lost all hope, then earning their trust would become infinitely easier.

After all, there was a vast difference between a conqueror who destroyed civilizations and a ruler who saved them from extinction.

The latter inspired loyalty.

The former only inspired fear.

Daniel slowly folded his arms as the wind brushed against his clothes.

His golden eyes remained fixed upon the distant kingdom standing against the endless tide of Ututh.

“Mika.”

“Erika.”

The moment their names left his mouth, space beside him rippled gently.

Two familiar figures stepped out from the distortion.

“I’m right here, my lucky charm.”

Mika smiled warmly as she appeared beside him, her silver hair dancing gracefully in the wind.

Meanwhile, Erika practically skipped out of the spatial rift.

“Big Brother!”

She happily rushed beside Daniel before looking toward the distant battlefield with curious eyes.

Daniel glanced at the two girls before speaking calmly.

“Tell me the current condition of this world aside from the general description.”

“If we’re going to bring this planet under our protection, then I want every important detail.”

Both girls nodded simultaneously.

“Right away.”

The instant they answered, a transparent holographic screen appeared before them.

It expanded rapidly into dozens of floating windows.

Maps.

Statistics.

Military information.

Population records.

Mana density.

Geographical layouts.

Every piece of information gathered by Mika and Erika during their investigation was displayed in extraordinary detail.

Mika raised one hand, causing the largest map to enlarge.

The entire continent of Ozamon appeared before them.

Four enormous regions had been marked in dark crimson.

Only one remained illuminated in gold.

“Currently, countless kingdoms has fall into ruins and only one kingdom remains out of the Five Original Great Kingdoms.”

Her calm voice echoed as several sections of the map changed.

“The Kingdom of Arvent has fallen.”

“The Kingdom of Solheim has fallen.”

“The Kingdom of Veradus has fallen.”

“The Kingdom of Luthien has also fallen.”

One after another, the four kingdoms dimmed completely before turning black.

Erika’s cheerful expression disappeared as she looked at the map.

“The destruction happened over several years.”

“Every kingdom resisted until the very end.”

“But the Ututh never stopped coming.”

“No matter how many they killed…”

“They always returned with greater numbers.”

Mika continued the explanation.

“The surviving citizens, remaining nobles, and members of the four royal families had no choice but to abandon their homelands.”

“They gathered every remaining soldier they could.”

“Along with the civilians who survived.”

“They fled toward the only kingdom still capable of resisting.”

A golden light appeared at the center of the map.

“The Kingdom of Yemia.”

“It is the final fortress of this world.”

“It is currently ruled by King Reja.”

The image shifted again.

This time displaying an enormous medieval kingdom.

Towering stone walls stretched across the horizon.

Countless defensive formations had been engraved into every layer of the fortress.

Thousands of soldiers stood atop the walls despite their exhausted appearances.

Smoke continuously rose from countless workshops where blacksmiths forged weapons without rest.

The atmosphere was heavy.

Even from a projection, Daniel could sense the despair hanging over the kingdom.

Mika continued.

“Since becoming the last surviving kingdom, Yemia has accepted every refugee regardless of race or nationality.”

“Humans.”

“Elves.”

“Dwarves.”

“Beastkin.”

“Giants.”

“Fairies”

“Vampires”

“They have all united beneath King Reja’s leadership.”

“They no longer fight among themselves.”

“The Ututh have forced them to become one.”

Daniel nodded slightly.

“A capable king.”

“If he wasn’t…”

“The world would have collapsed much sooner.”

Mika smiled.

“I came to the same conclusion.”

She waved her hand again.

Immediately, another screen appeared.

This one displayed military information.

“Unfortunately…”

“Their current military strength has almost reached its limit.”

“Their remaining elite forces consist only of individuals who have reached the Oppressor Rank.”

“There are approximately three hundred Oppressor Rank experts remaining.”

“Nearly seventy percent suffer from severe injuries.”

“The rest are experiencing mana exhaustion after fighting continuously for months.”

Another chart appeared.

“Their strongest individual is also only at the Oppressor Rank.”

“There is not a single Mystic Rank expert.”

“No Deity Rank.”

“No Divinity Rank.”

“They have absolutely no existence capable of turning the tide of battle.”

Erika sighed softly.

“They’ve already sacrificed everyone stronger than that.”

“The previous generation of heroes…”

“The royal guardians…”

“The commanders…”

“They all died protecting the evacuation.”

Daniel silently observed the information.

His expression remained calm, but his eyes became slightly colder.

“So that’s why they continued losing.”

Mika nodded.

“Exactly.”

“The difference in overall strength is simply too great.”

“The Ututh possess countless monsters whose strength rivals or even surpasses the Oppressor Rank.”

“They only managed to survive this long because of the kingdom’s defensive formations.”

“But even those formations are beginning to fail.”

Several warning signs flashed across the holographic display.

[: Mana Barrier Integrity: 11% :]

[: Food Supplies: Six Days Remaining :]

[: Medical Supplies: Critically Low :]

[: Available Combatants: Forty Two Percent :]

[: Civilian Morale: Near Collapse :]

[: Probability of Surviving Next Wave…less than One Percent :]

Even Erika looked saddened.

“They don’t even realize…”

“This next battle is supposed to be their last.”

Daniel remained silent for several moments.

The wind blew gently across the cliff as he continued studying every detail.

Finally…

He closed the holographic screen with a simple wave of his hand.

“I see.”

“So that’s the situation.”

He slowly placed both hands behind his back.

His gaze traveled toward the distant Kingdom of Yemia, where the final defenders of Ozamon were unknowingly preparing for their last stand.

A faint smile gradually appeared on his face.

“I understand now.”

“Then it won’t take long.”

Mika looked toward him knowingly.

“You already have a plan, don’t you?”

Daniel nodded once.

“I do.”

“They’re standing at the edge of despair.”

“The moment hope appears…”

“They’ll naturally reach for it.”

His golden eyes reflected the distant kingdom.

“We won’t begin by asking them to submit.”

“We’ll begin by saving their world.”

Only then did Daniel smile confidently.

“And after witnessing what we can do…”

“They’ll understand that joining our faction is not surrender.”

“It is salvation.”

Erika’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

“Big Brother is going to amaze everyone again!”

Daniel chuckled softly before taking a single step forward.

The space beneath his feet rippled gently.

His gaze never left the distant battlefield where the endless army of Ututh continued advancing toward the last surviving kingdom.

“I see why they have reached this point.”

He smiled calmly.

“Then…”

“It won’t take long to conquer this world.”
