Chapter 2895: Chapter 2895: Worried

A group of experts from the Dark Clan, intent on ambushing Fang Bai and other gods, waited outside Golden City for an unknown length of time, but they saw no sign of the Fang Bai God Emperor and were greatly puzzled.

Later, when they learned that Fang Bai and other gods had already returned to Golden City, they were both amazed and concluded that this must be related to the Golden City Lord, Tiankui God, as they dejectedly returned.

In the years that followed, within Golden City, the gods of the Emperor’s Palace and the experts of the Dark Clan coexisted peacefully.

However, the gods of the Emperor’s Palace and experts of the Dark Clan would often visit each other’s residences to probe for the truth.

If it weren’t for their fear of the Golden City Lord Tiankui God Emperor, a great battle would have long erupted between the two sides.

To express gratitude for the assistance Tiankui God Emperor offered that day in secret, Fang Bai personally visited the City Lord Mansion, intending to thank Tiankui God Emperor face to face, but he was politely declined.

Fang Bai was not upset, as he understood that although Tiankui God Emperor helped them in secret, he still wanted to maintain neutrality between the gods of the Emperor’s Palace and the Dark Clan on the surface, to avoid conflict with the Dark Clan.

Some time after this incident, a strong member of the City Lord Mansion, under the orders of Tiankui God Emperor, secretly visited Fang Bai, reminding them that the Dark Clan was brutal and bloodthirsty, and would hold grudges, urging them to remain vigilant and not leave Golden City lightly.

Fang Bai entrusted that member of the City Lord Mansion to convey his gratitude to Tiankui God Emperor, stating that he would remember this kindness and if the Golden Clan ever needed help, he and the gods of the Emperor’s Palace would spare no effort to assist.

If other Divine Emperor Realm experts had said this, that member of the City Lord Mansion would have likely sneered.

However, before that member of the City Lord Mansion came to meet the gods of the Emperor’s Palace, Tiankui God Emperor had told them that Fang Bai had the potential to advance to the Divine Emperor Realm, and so, that member of the City Lord Mansion dared not underestimate Fang Bai, maintaining a respectful attitude throughout.

The two parties had a pleasant conversation, and before leaving, that member of the City Lord Mansion expressed that they would relay Fang Bai’s words to the City Lord Tiankui God Emperor, and then happily took their leave.

This meeting subtly established a connection between the City Lord Mansion and the Emperor’s Palace, which would benefit both sides in the future.

"The Tiankui God Emperor is truly foresighted to choose to befriend us now!"

After that member of the City Lord Mansion left, the Great Might Divine Emperor cheerfully said to Fang Bai and the gods of the Emperor’s Palace.

Rongrong laughed delicately, saying, "Of course. In our Emperor’s Palace, almost everyone possesses an Innate Spiritual Root. Though our current power is not yet strong enough, one day in the future, there will certainly be more than one who can advance to the Divine Emperor Realm. If Tiankui God Emperor doesn’t befriend us now, when will he?"

Baihua also laughed, saying, "Indeed, any Divine Emperor should have such insight."

Linglong said, "Perhaps one day, the gods of our Emperor’s Palace can become honored guests of the twelve Principal Gods of Chaos Realm!"

Hearing her words, all the gods had bright eyes, their blood boiling, filled with anticipation and dreams.

Their realms and cultivation levels were limited by their talents, making it difficult to reach the level of the twelve Principal Gods, but as the Emperor’s Palace Master, and possessing talents unseen for ages, Fang Bai certainly could.

As long as Fang Bai could reach the realm of the twelve Principal Gods, the status of the gods of the Emperor’s Palace would naturally rise accordingly, and indeed, they might become honored guests of the twelve Principal Gods.

So, fueled by this anticipation, and led by Fang Bai, the gods of the Emperor’s Palace used a Seven-Leaf Golden Lotus to exchange for a fifty-year lease at the temple where they resided, and continued their cultivation journey.

Though the gods of the Emperor’s Palace lacked cultivation resources, they could all cultivate using Chaos Divine Power from the Chaos Realm.

Although Fang Bai could also absorb Chaos Divine Power for cultivation, doing so at several times the speed of other experts of the same realm, the sheer amount of Chaos Divine Power needed for him to advance made this far too slow.

Therefore, while other experts of the Emperor’s Palace were cultivating, Fang Bai set up a formation around the temple for protection and then headed to Golden City’s Cultivation Resource Exchange Market, intending to acquire some Divine Elixirs, Divine Medicine, or other chaotic treasures to accelerate his own progress.

As soon as Fang Bai left the temple, experts from the Dark Clan began to follow him.

Fang Bai was unfazed, knowing that in Golden City, the experts of the Dark Clan didn’t have the courage to attack him directly.

Much like the Divine Realm’s Cultivation Resource Exchange Market, the Cultivation Resource Exchange Market in this Chaos Realm’s Golden City was equally bustling.

Here, experts from various clans in the Chaos Realm gathered, exchanging Divine Elixirs, Divine Medicine, or other treasures with one another.

At the moment, Fang Bai was at the mid-stage of the Divine Emperor Realm cultivation level but could already refine high-rank Divine Emperor Realm Divine Elixirs, so he planned to earn some cultivation resources in this exchange market, while also forging alliances with other powerful Chaos Realm factions to increase their leverage against the Dark Clan experts.

However, upon entering the Cultivation Resource Exchange Market, Fang Bai found himself perplexed.

To refine pills or artifacts for other experts, he needed to rent a stall, but the rental prices were quite steep, and since Fang Bai had already turned the Seven-Leaf Golden Lotus he obtained into Divine Elixirs for the other experts of the Emperor’s Palace to use for cultivation, he found himself penniless, unable to afford the stall rent.

"Hey brother, are you looking for alchemy or artifact refining?"

Fang Bai approached a powerful expert within the Cultivation Resource Exchange Market, smiling as he asked.

The expert, seeing that Fang Bai was quite young but not lacking in power, did not dare underestimate him, and replied courteously, "What do you mean, young brother?"

Fang Bai said, "I mean, I’m both an Alchemist and an Artifact Refiner. If you need alchemy or artifact refining services, you can come to me."

"Oh?"

The expert scrutinized Fang Bai, incredulously asking, "Young brother, you... can really perform alchemy and artifact refining?"

Fang Bai looked considerably young, and in the Chaos Realm, alchemists and artifact refiners were all ancient figures who had lived for thousands of years, so it was no wonder that the other expert was doubtful.

Fang Bai said, "If you don’t believe me, you could always give it a try! Since I’m new here, my first batch of Divine Elixirs or the first Divine Artifact I refine for you could be free of charge, purely to establish a name for myself."

"This..."

The expert stroked his beard and hesitated.

"Young brother, what’s your success rate in alchemy? And what about the pill formation rate?"

The expert asked.

Fang Bai held out five fingers, saying, "A fifty percent success rate, and a fifty percent pill formation rate."

The expert gasped, exclaiming, "That impressive?"

As far as he knew, the most capable alchemist in Golden City only had a forty percent success rate and pill formation rate, and it wasn’t even stable.

If this young expert truly had a fifty percent success rate and pill formation rate, he would be the top in Golden City’s alchemy realm.

"Yes, indeed that impressive!"

Fang Bai thumped his chest confidently, answering with certainty.
