Chapter 2116 - 2113: Always Causing Trouble

This behavior drew the attention of those around.

A few customers who were drinking stopped talking and looked over with interest.

In the corner, a figure wearing a bamboo hat also slightly raised his head.

"Get lost, don’t come here causing trouble. You’re not even participating in the Dragon and Phoenix Assembly, so why are you staying here?" the waiter said coldly, ignoring the Nether Crystals on the table.

He crossed his arms, his face full of impatience.

The surrounding diners all wore mocking expressions, some even deliberately slammed their cups heavily on the table, making jarring noises. They whispered to each other and occasionally let out sneers.

"Do you really think just anyone can stay here?" a burly man with a face full of scars grinned, revealing several gold teeth.

"This place is the special inn for the Dragon and Phoenix Assembly; only those who can participate in it are allowed to stay here," a scholarly-looking man beside him chimed in, waving his folding fan with an air of superiority.

"You think you can stay here with just hundreds of thousands of Nether Crystals?" a heavily made-up woman laughed sharply.

"Even if you throw in a million Nether Crystals, you can’t buy a night’s stay here," an elderly man said leisurely, stroking his beard.

The crowd’s words gradually made Xu Wendong understand.

He squinted his eyes, noticing a gilded plaque hanging on the inn’s lounge wall, inscribed with the bold words "Dragon and Phoenix Pavilion."

When he left Black Tiger City, the Ying family sisters did mention attending the Dragon and Phoenix Assembly in the county city.

Seeing the situation, Xu Wendong stopped saying anything more.

He quietly collected the Nether Crystals on the table and turned to walk towards the door.

"Ha, wanting to stay here without any capability is just a joke," a pockmarked young man suddenly raised his voice mockingly, intentionally letting the whole lounge hear.

Xu Wendong’s footsteps halted.

He originally didn’t want to cause trouble, especially since he was still wanted by the Da Yin Dynasty.

But at this moment, he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up, as a nameless anger burned in his chest.

Xu Wendong slowly turned back, his steps steady as he walked back into the lounge.

His black robe swayed gently with his movements, and the jade pendant at his waist clinked crisply.

"What, you dare come back?" the pockmarked young man sneered, completely unaware that danger was approaching.

He tilted his head, showing a provocative expression: "Do you really think you can stay here?"

"Slap!"

In a flash, Xu Wendong’s palm had already swung out. The crisp sound of the slap echoed in the lounge, and the pockmarked young man flew through the air, drawing an arc before landing heavily three meters away. A mouthful of blood spurted from his mouth, splattering the floor with a startling red blossom.

"Big mouth," Xu Wendong said coldly, shaking his slightly numb palm.

The lounge instantly erupted.

A few young people in uniform cyan long robes jumped up, knocking over the tables and chairs.

"Insolent!" a square-faced man shouted sharply, veins bulging on his forehead.

"You actually dared to hit someone from Liufeng Sacred Land?" another tall, thin man said through gritted teeth, his fingers already pressing lightly on the sword hilt.

"He just attacked Disciple Wang, get him, kill him!" the third person shouted, the muscles on his face twitching.

Xu Wendong’s eyes lit up, his gaze sweeping over their clothing.

The lapels of their garments were embroidered with the same flowing cloud pattern—precisely the emblem of one of the Seven Great Forces of the Da Yin Dynasty, Liufeng Sacred Land.

"Bastard..." the beaten Disciple Wang struggled to climb up, half of his face swollen like a steamed bun.

He shakily drew a large, coldly gleaming knife from his waist, faint blue air currents swirling around the blade: "I’m going to kill him!"

Disciple Wang roared and charged, unleashing his entire Ninth Level of Tongyou Realm cultivation level, the floor beneath his feet cracking with each step. This strike, accompanied by a sharp sound of breaking through the air, aimed straight for Xu Wendong’s throat.

Xu Wendong’s mouth curled into a cold smile.

He slightly turned his body, easily dodging the lethal blow, and simultaneously swung back with another slap.

"Since you haven’t had enough, I’ll let you eat your fill!"

"Slap!"

This slap was even heavier than the previous one, the entirety of Disciple Wang spinning through the air, crashing into two tables before stopping.

Cups, plates, and bowls shattered everywhere, wine and dishes splattering all over.

"Ghost Control Realm!" the square-faced man gasped, his face instantly turning pale.

"This guy is actually in the Ghost Control Realm!" the tall, thin man’s voice changed tone, his hand holding the sword hilt slightly trembling.

"So young, and he has such cultivation level, then he..." the third person muttered, involuntarily taking half a step back.

Disciple Wang slumped amidst the mess, blood constantly oozing from his mouth. His gaze shifted from anger to fear, and when Xu Wendong stepped towards him, he desperately shrank back.

"You guys, get him!" Disciple Wang shouted hoarsely, his voice on the verge of tears.

But the others exchanged glances, none daring to step forward. The pressure emanating from Xu Wendong left them breathless.

"Still want to speak, huh?" Xu Wendong grabbed Disciple Wang’s collar, lifting him up.

Disciple Wang’s feet kicked in the air like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered.

"No fighting allowed here, if you want to fight, take it outside," the waiter finally came over, his tone still firm. Behind him stood several burly guards, each with a Tongyou Realm cultivation level.

Xu Wendong squinted, releasing Disciple Wang. He straightened his slightly messy sleeve, turning to leave.

"Hit someone and want to leave?"

A cool female voice came from the direction of the stairs.

Xu Wendong turned around and saw a woman dressed in red walking down the stairs. Her fingers were slender and long, gently stroking a green jade pendant hanging at her waist.

"Sister! Help me take revenge!" Disciple Wang pounced over as if seeing a savior, "This guy slapped me twice, I want to break his legs!"

The woman in red glanced coldly at her brother: "Hmph, you only know how to cause trouble." But she still turned to Xu Wendong, her gaze instantly becoming as sharp as a knife.

"Boy, now kneel and apologize to my brother, then compensate with ten million Nether Crystals, and this matter will be settled," she said with undeniable authority, her voice not loud yet imposing.

Xu Wendong frowned, secretly channeling his soul power to probe her cultivation level, but found it as if sinking into the sea, completely unreadable.

This tightened his heart.

"What if I refuse?" Xu Wendong asked in a deep voice, secretly on guard.

"Refuse?" the woman in red sneered contemptuously and suddenly moved in a flash.

Xu Wendong’s pupils contracted sharply; a red afterimage swiftly reached him. He instinctively raised his hand to block, his mind ringing alarm bells: "Not good!"

"Ghost Control Realm, Third Realm!" Xu Wendong finally discerned her true cultivation level.

Though only two minor realms higher than him, the cultivation techniques of Liufeng Sacred Land were always renowned for their sharpness, making this battle unlikely to be easy!
