Chapter 91: 91 | S Rank Performance

"No one can ever touch my people."

Natasha’s eyes widened slightly at his words. ’This idiot. Does he even realize what he just said?’

’Even after hearing my story, he still wants to use his strength to protect others?’ She stared at him for a moment, her chest tightening.

’And... my people.’ The words echoed in her head. ’Does that include me?’

Ba-thump!

Her fingers curled against the book in her lap. She wanted to ask him directly, but she held back. It would feel too obvious and eager.

Instead, she let a small smile settle on her lips, one that didn’t quite match the turmoil inside her.

"That’s a heavy thing to carry," she said, trying to remind him. "Strength like that always comes with a price."

"I don’t care about the price," Dante answered without hesitation, his fist tightening again. "As long as I can protect what matters to me, it’s worth it."

Natasha’s breath caught in her throat.

’S-stop looking at me while saying those words!’ she thought, her heart hammering against her chest.

’You’re going to make me fall for you even harder.’

She quickly looked away, pretending to fix the pages of her book so he wouldn’t catch the redness creeping up her cheeks. ’Get a grip, Natasha. He’s just a boy talking about his dreams. Don’t read too much into it.’

But no matter how much she told herself that, the warmth spreading inside her refused to go away.

’...Fine then,’ she thought, glancing at him from the corner of her eye.

’I’ll make sure I become someone worth protecting for you~’

***

Time slipped away faster than either of them realized.

By the time Natasha finally called an end to the lesson, evening had already settled in. Both of them stepped out of the secret room together.

Natasha was about to send him off to rest for the night when something crossed her mind.

"Dante, now that you’re cured..." She looked at him with a curious glint in her eyes. "Won’t you tell Master who revealed your condition to you?"

Dante had been in a hurry to get back to his room, but her question made him pause. He couldn’t help but smile inwardly. ’Is she asking me this before the mission ends so she can hear my inner thoughts?’

He would have to tell her one way or another. Otherwise, Felix and Freya would keep following him around everywhere. He definitely planned to make them his subordinates someday, but he still had plenty of things to handle in secret. Having them tailing him constantly would only get in the way.

Now she had just handed him the perfect opening.

[How do I even explain that I saw it in my dreams? Will she believe something like that? She’ll probably think I don’t trust her enough to tell her the truth.]

’He saw it in his dreams?’ Natasha had been waiting eagerly to hear his thoughts, and this caught her off guard. ’Does he get prophetic dreams?’

Some of his earlier behavior, like how he knew about Freya and Felix following him, suddenly started making a lot more sense.

"Master, I know it’s hard to believe, but I saw them in my dreams." Dante spoke with a nervous look on his face.

"I believe you." She said instantly.

Honestly, she probably wouldn’t have believed him fully if it weren’t for hearing his inner thoughts. The ability to see the future through dreams was rare enough that it was often used as an excuse by liars.

Unfortunately, her student was one of those liars, though he wasn’t entirely lying about having knowledge of the future.

Natasha had a lot of questions she wanted to ask about his ability. Did he know his own fate? How often did he get these dreams? How far into the future could he see?

But in the end, she held back.

Dante trusted her enough to tell her about his ability. That was enough for her.

Besides, judging by how he hadn’t known about her condition beforehand, his future knowledge was probably limited.

"Promise me." Natasha stood in front of him, holding out her hand. Dante looked at her with a surprised expression.

"Promise me that you’ll never tell anyone about your ability."

Dante looked at her with a flicker of gratitude, most of it real since he did have real future knowledge.

"I promise." He let out a deep breath and placed his hand on hers.

Natasha had a relieved smile on her face. She gave him a bit more advice before sending him back to his room.

Only a few minutes after he left, she looked down at her shirt. She was still wearing his shirt. She told him she would return it after ’some’ cleaning.

She then pulled up the system to check her notifications.

[You have successfully completed the task: "Teach Dante!"]

[Calculating the number of times Dante stared at your body...]

[1... 10... 50... ... Still counting...]

[Please wait for the counting to finish.]

A few minutes later, the system was still counting and Natasha’s face was bright red. ’Does he have a third eye or something? Just how many times did he stare at me?’

To be honest, she had been counting inside her head during the lesson too. Halfway through, she gave up after losing count and getting distracted.

[Sorry for the wait! The counting is complete!]

[Total Stares: 2569]

[Face: 404]

[Chest: 777]

[Ass: 612]

[Thighs: 289]

[Hips: 143]

[Lips: 78]

[Neck: 37]

[Others: 229]

A pink panel appeared in front of her, showing her body figure with arrows pointing to different spots, each labeled with a number.

"T-two... two thousand?!" Natasha was shocked to her core when she saw the total. She bit her lip seductively as she looked over her own figure.

There wasn’t a single spot on her body he hadn’t looked at.

She recalled the moments she had caught him staring at her, and her thighs pressed together.
