Villain of Fate: The Tyrant System
Chapter 389: The Gathering Shadow
The Gathering Shadow
Although they had arrived after the battle, everyone worked without hesitation.
Gradually...
The panic throughout the estate began settling.
The wounded finally received proper treatment.
The remaining disciples also regained some confidence after seeing powerful reinforcements arrive.
Only after the situation had become relatively stable did Priya slowly turn back toward Wren Tyson and Yana Tyson.
Her expression became serious.
The gentle concern from earlier disappeared, replaced by the composure expected of the Master of Voidspring Mountain.
She needed answers.
If the Obsidian Wing truly intended to seize control of Valemont...
Then today’s attack was likely only the beginning.
Taking a slow breath, she asked,
"What exactly happened today? How many experts did that organization called Obsidian Wing send over?"
The moment those words left her lips, surprise appeared on Wren Tyson’s face.
Even Yana Tyson looked slightly stunned.
Neither of them had expected Priya to already know about the mysterious organization.
Yana Tyson looked directly at her Mountain Master before asking in disbelief,
"Mountain Master, you know about the Obsidian Wing organization?"
A flicker of surprise crossed Yana Tyson’s beautiful face.
Her bright orange eyes widened slightly as she looked at Priya.
Until now, she had believed the mysterious organization was known only to a handful of people. Even she had only learned its true name after unintentionally hearing Julian D’Aurelius’s inner thoughts during previous events. Without that unexpected clue, she would still have been searching for the identity of the force operating behind Lucas and Steffan.
She had never imagined that Priya already knew about it.
The surrounding elders also exchanged puzzled glances.
The atmosphere inside the damaged Tyson Family estate grew unusually quiet.
The cries of the wounded still echoed from nearby courtyards, while disciples hurried back and forth carrying medicine, bandages, and stretchers. The smell of blood lingered in the air, refusing to fade despite the gentle breeze drifting through the broken buildings.
Priya stood calmly in the middle of the courtyard.
Her long silver hair flowed softly behind her, while the elegant silver robe embroidered with golden patterns fluttered gently in the wind.
Although her appearance was graceful enough to resemble an immortal descending from the heavens, the seriousness in her deep golden eyes made everyone understand that this was no ordinary conversation.
"I know."
Her voice remained calm as she began recounting everything that had happened at Voidspring Mountain earlier that day.
She explained how Elder Smith had secretly betrayed the sect.
She described the poisoning attempt against the high-ranking elders.
She spoke of the fortunate arrival of a friend skilled in Ancient medicine, whose keen observations had exposed the hidden conspiracy before irreversible disaster struck.
She then explained how Elder Smith had confessed everything after being interrogated.
The mastermind.
The Obsidian Wing.
Their hidden ambitions.
Their plan to seize control of Valemont.
Every important detail was laid out one after another.
No one interrupted.
The courtyard remained silent except for Priya’s steady voice.
When she finally finished speaking, everyone present had fallen into deep thought.
After hearing her out, Wren Tyson’s face darkened.
His fingers slowly tightened around the armrest of his wheelchair.
His expression grew heavier with every passing second.
"This organization has grand ambitions."
His voice carried obvious concern.
"Even the Old Martial Arts world of Valemont can’t satisfy their appetite, and they dare to reach out to Voidspring Mountain."
A heavy silence followed.
Everyone understood the meaning behind those words.
The Tyson Family had believed they were simply facing an enemy targeting several influential households.
Now...
It was becoming increasingly clear that the Obsidian Wing sought far more than local influence.
They wanted control.
Complete domination.
Not only over powerful households...
But over entire regions of the Old Martial Arts world.
The realization caused even the experienced elders to feel a chill running through their hearts.
Priya slowly nodded.
Her beautiful face remained composed, yet the concern within her eyes became more apparent.
"I’m not sure."
Having suffered this unexpected disaster, Priya was also filled with anger, eager to eliminate the Obsidian Wing organization.
The sight of countless injured disciples throughout the Tyson Family remained vivid in her mind.
Broken walls.
Blood-stained courtyards.
Families mourning loved ones.
Children crying beside unconscious parents.
Everything she had witnessed only strengthened her resolve.
She drew a slow breath before continuing.
"I brought several elders with me today. I heard they sent many experts this time. Who are they?"
Her question immediately shifted everyone’s attention toward Yana Tyson.
Among those present, she possessed the most complete intelligence gathered after today’s attacks.
Yana nodded gently.
Although exhaustion could still be seen on her pale face, her thoughts remained perfectly organized.
She slowly began reporting everything they had learned.
"Two peak Gold Realm experts came to our family today."
The moment those words were spoken, several elders from Voidspring Mountain frowned.
Peak Gold Realm.
That level of cultivation was enough to establish one’s dominance over an entire region.
The appearance of two such experts together was already beyond ordinary expectations.
Yana continued without pause.
"According to the information we received, they also sent experts to other families and sects, all at the middle Gold Realm level, with a total of at least ten people."
Her voice remained steady.
Yet every sentence made the expressions around her become increasingly solemn.
This intelligence had only recently arrived through desperate survivors and emergency reports from the surrounding households.
There had been little time to verify every detail.
Even so...
The overall picture was already terrifying.
The Obsidian Wing had launched coordinated attacks across nearly the entire Old Martial Arts community of Valemont.
It wasn’t random violence.
It was a carefully planned operation.
The courtyard became completely silent.
Everyone waited for Yana to continue.
She lowered her eyes briefly before speaking again.
"These families and sects had all experienced the same thing as the Tyson Family."
Her words carried obvious bitterness.
"After the Obsidian Wing arrived, they immediately started a massacre."
The surrounding disciples unconsciously clenched their fists.
Some lowered their heads.
Others closed their eyes.
The painful memories of today’s battle resurfaced once again.
"After killing a few to establish dominance, they issued an ultimatum."
