"Hmm... I will be in a trance now... how many days will pass, I wonder... heh."

The sun had fully risen, casting long shadows across the desolate landscape where Cale stood motionless.

His dark silhouette cut a sharp contrast against the vast, ink-washed mountains surrounding him. But those mountains weren’t truly painted in ink—it was his perception reshaping reality, his sword intent sprawling outward in all directions like an artist’s brush stroke across reality itself.

A heavy, suffocating pressure radiated from his very being, so intense that the entire painted world seemed to tremble in response. The air itself grew thick with anticipation, as if the universe was holding its breath.

He gazed out at the endless peaks,

"By the memories, there are the basic sword moves which create everything."

With a sudden burst of immense power, he moved.

"Thrust."

His blade pierced the air, and a massive ripple of ink materialized behind him, dripping with visible energy. He flowed smoothly into the next movement, swinging the heavy blade upward in one continuous arc.

"Cut."

Thick strokes of black ink followed his sword’s path, tearing through the fabric of the air itself as if it were silk being shredded. The cuts were deep, violent, leaving luminescent scars across space.

He didn’t pause. His momentum built like a catastrophic storm, each movement flowing into the next with perfect economy of motion.

"Shriek."

The blade danced in a wide arc, sending a terrifying wave of dark energy rippling outward in all directions. He leaped, bringing the weapon down with enough force to split mountains, and the impact created a shockwave that rattled the entire landscape.

"Severing."

The strikes shattered the tranquility, splattering the sky with violent streaks of ink that painted new constellations across the heavens.

Landing perfectly balanced on a single leg, his final movement was a masterclass in lethal precision.

"Pierce."

The tip of his sword locked onto an unseen target, and a colossal ink character exploded into existence beneath his feet, so massive it could be seen from orbit.

The scenery shifted instantly.

The ink-washed mountains dissolved, replaced by a raging sea of darkness that churned and roiled with supernatural violence. Cale stood effortlessly upon the violent waves as if gravity meant nothing, his blade descending with crushing force that made the imaginary water scream.

"Horizontal strikes."

The imaginary sea roared and bent to his overwhelming will as another massive black cut tore through the storm, each stroke carrying enough power to obliterate armies.

Reality itself began to fracture into multiple panes of existence, displaying Cale’s flawless mastery across different realms simultaneously—beneath a pale moon, among ancient pines, beside rushing waterfalls. His presence was too immense for a single world to contain. He existed in all of them at once.

Days kept passing like a river stream, time meaningless in this place.

"Diagonal slashes. Swipe. Sweep. Block. Intercept."

He executed each technique simultaneously across multiple planes of reality, his consciousness split yet perfectly unified. Each movement was a revelation, a step closer to mastery.

The fragmented reality dissolved gradually, settling into a sudden, gentle flurry of pink cherry blossoms falling from an impossible sky. Seasons had changed within moments. Spring had bloomed and faded in the space of heartbeats.

"Flourish."

Cale spun, his sword weaving a mesmerizing path through the falling petals. Each blossom that touched his blade was bisected perfectly, split into equal halves. His expression was serene, almost peaceful, yet he radiated an untouchable, absolute power that made the very concept of resistance laughable.

The grand illusion settled back into the majestic, mist-shrouded mountain peaks from which it had begun.

Dozens of his afterimages dashed along a winding mountain trail, soaring upward like a dragon taking flight.

"Swords are nothing but mere tools. Anything can be a sword, but at the same time, not everything can be your sword."

The legion of his afterimages suddenly froze mid-flight, suspended above the misty peaks like martial arts carved from living shadow. They hung there,

The overwhelming pressure in the air stilled, yet Cale’s presence remained absolute—immovable as mountains, inevitable as time itself.

"The core stays the same, while I adapt to the battle."

He stood still in the mist, a solitary, immovable mountain amongst chaos.

Around him, ethereal phantoms of himself materialized—dozens, hundreds, thousands of them—each executing the foundational strikes with terrifying speed and precision. They moved in a deadly, synchronized dance around their motionless creator, demonstrating a flawless martial symphony that had never been heard before and would never be heard again.

Cale stood with his back turned to the world, a solitary sovereign amidst an army of his own echoes. Dozens of his phantoms hovered in the misty void, each locked in a stance. Every muscle tensed, every breath synchronized.

He didn’t need to turn to see the myriad of techniques unfolding around him—they were already etched into his very soul, burned into his consciousness at a level deeper than thought.

This was it. The Myriad Battle Flow of Heaven and Earth.

A slight glow ignited in both his eyes—one burning golden like the sun, the other crystalline blue like the purest ice. A quiet testament to his immense, dormant power.

He slowly closed his eyes, drawing the sprawling web of techniques back into his mind, condensing the complex myriad into one absolute. The phantoms didn’t fade—they merged, flowing back into him like rivers returning to the ocean.

As his eyes shut, the suffocating pressure vanished like it had never existed. The fierce phantoms dissolved into him, their essence absorbed completely. The grand martial illusion faded away entirely, softening back into the tranquil, static ink-washed painting of the ancient mountains.

But the illusion reformed immediately.

The painted ink faded to harsh dust and cracked earth, surrounded by dead, twisted trees and thick, unnatural fog. A wasteland. A domain of desolation and suffering. Yet even in this oppressive realm, Cale’s presence remained undeniably supreme—a lone swordsman commanding the barren earth, bending it to his will.

He moved.

His blade cut through the heavy, golden-hued atmosphere with terrifying speed, each strike a manifestation of the sequence he had just mastered in the void. The sky above him violently shifted from a bloody amber to a stormy, abyssal blue as his sword danced, reflecting the energy gathering around his form in visible waves.

His overwhelming aura warped the very environment, tearing the heavy mist apart with the sheer, crushing force of his swings. Every thrust and sweep of his weapon generated invisible shockwaves that rattled the ancient, dead trees, proving that his mental simulations had become devastating reality.

He was no longer just analyzing the blade. He was a swordsman dominating the shattered landscape, forcing the wasteland itself to bow to his own domain.

Cale tore through the desolate lands like an unstoppable force wrapped in the suffocating gloom of a bruised, stormy sky.

His blade hissed as it carved the heavy air, leaving a blinding streak of golden light that momentarily erased the darkness. Pivoting on his heel, he dropped low and unleashed a sweeping strike across the cracked earth, the sheer force kicking up a tempest of dead dust that obscured the sun itself.

"It’s like solving a Rubik’s cube. You take tens of thousands of combinations, but the moves are still the same. All you’re doing is spinning the sides of the cube, and even the end result is the same—the enemy’s death."

Cale’s heavy sword intercepted and crushed his own phantom’s attacks, moving with a speed that defied the laws of reality itself.

A violent explosion of thick, black ink erupted with his final strike, completely obliterating the shadowy opponent in a single, flawless breath.

He was stronger than his own reflection.

He didn’t even watch the ink scatter into the mist—his overwhelming presence had already dominated this pattern of swings, this entire realm of combat.
