Chapter 314: Blood Demon Sounds Too Boring

Damian slowly opened his eyes and found himself staring at an unfamiliar wooden ceiling.

For several seconds, he simply lay there in silence before the memories returned.

Not the memories of being sucked dry by Cassandra, but the gifts from gifting blood.

He quickly sat up and immediately called out, "System, give me the reward and fuse it directly into me."

---

[Gift: 10 Liters of Host’s Blood]

[1000× Critical Multiplier Triggered]

[Reward:]

[Blood Qi Quality Strengthened by 10×]

---

Damian stared at the panel, rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. "Huh? That’s it? What the hell do you mean by this, System? That was a thousand-times multiplier."

Before Damian could complain any further...

[Reward Fusion Initiated]

A deep heat suddenly spread throughout his entire body, and Damian immediately stiffened, already expecting the worst.

Yet surprisingly, it wasn’t painful.

Instead, it felt strangely pleasant. It wasn’t the usual burning agony of a fusion, but rather a warm current flowing smoothly through every part of his body.

Damian slowly checked himself, sensing the changes taking place within him before finally muttering, "I see... no wonder there was only one reward."

Blood Qi wasn’t some random, insignificant part of the body.

It was essentially the carrier that transported Qi, nutrients, and vitality throughout the entire body, strengthening both cultivation and physique.

Improving its quality tenfold meant Damian’s already absurd body had just become even more ridiculous.

Damian leaned back against the bed and sighed. "Alright, System... sorry for complaining."

As usual, the system gave absolutely no response.

Damian’s eye twitched. "Of course."

Just then, the wooden door opened.

Cassandra stepped inside with a wide grin. "Oh? You finally woke up."

Damian looked toward her. "Yeah, thanks for nearly draining me dry."

Cassandra ignored the complaint and suddenly sniffed the air twice, and her crimson-black eyes immediately lit up. "Oh..."

Damian’s expression changed. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Cassandra slowly approached. "Your blood already recovered."

Her grin widened. "And somehow... it smells even more fucking delicious now."

Damian immediately pulled his collar higher. "Goddammit. What are you, a fucking vampire?"

Cassandra stopped. "Vampire?"

Damian blinked. "You don’t know what a vampire is?"

Cassandra shook her head.

Damian sighed, remembering that despite all the Western-style names, this was still basically an Eastern cultivation world. "Basically, they’re a demon race that drinks blood."

Cassandra’s interest immediately increased. "What do they look like?"

Damian thought for a moment. "If I remember correctly, they’re usually ridiculously beautiful or handsome, pale, have fangs, drink blood, and in some versions, they’re basically immortal."

Cassandra slowly looked down at herself.

Pale skin, fangs, blood-drinking, demonic cultivation... the more she thought about it, the wider her grin became. "Good. Then I think I’m a vampire."

Damian immediately frowned. "That’s not how it fucking works. You’re not actually a vampire."

Cassandra raised an eyebrow, so Damian continued, "Vampires usually have weaknesses too. Sunlight, garlic, crosses, holy things, shit like that."

Cassandra stared at him for several seconds before shrugging. "So what? That’s your version of a vampire."

She pointed toward herself proudly. "I think Vampire sounds much better than Blood Demon anyway. Too many people already use names like Blood Demon, Blood Devil, Blood Fiend... boring as fuck. So I’ll just make my own version."

Damian stared at her blankly. "You’re literally making shit up now."

Cassandra revealed her fangs with a pleased grin. "Exactly, a race that is beautiful, strong, blood-drinking, basically immortal, and not afraid of sunlight or garlic. Perfect for me."

She then immediately stepped closer. "Now let me suck your blood again."

Damian immediately pointed at her, furious. "Fuck off! You already sucked me dry until I fucking passed out last time!"

Cassandra licked her lips, crimson-black eyes fixed on his neck. "But your blood recovered... and it fucking smells better. Hehehe... I want it."

"I’m not your fucking blood bag!" Damian snapped. "I’m still weak! Once a week. That’s it!"

Cassandra sighed dramatically. "Fine... once a week. Don’t forget."

Damian glared at her. "Yeah, yeah. I may be shameless, but I keep my fucking promises."

Cassandra’s entire mood brightened at the promise. "Hehehe... good. Once a week. Don’t you dare forget."

Before Damian could respond, she suddenly changed the subject as if nothing had happened. "Now come on. Let’s go meet your harem."

Damian blinked for a second before finally remembering. "Oh, right... my harem. Wait, how do you know about them? You already met them?"

Cassandra smiled brightly. "Of course I did. They’re all quite pretty... and surprisingly good."

Her grin slowly turned crazier. "Hehehe... now come on. Let’s go."

Damian stared at her back for a few seconds before letting out a tired sigh. "...I really hope nothing bad happened."

---

Damian followed Cassandra out of the wooden house, and almost immediately, he spotted Cynthia, Linsey, Helena, and Evelyn sitting together on a large tree stump nearby.

The moment they noticed him, all four women stood up at once and called out in unison, "Master Damian."

Before Damian could even respond, all four turned toward Cassandra and spoke again at the same time. "Mistress Cassandra."

Damian froze, slowly turning his head toward Cassandra with a confused tilt. "...Mistress?"

Cassandra grinned proudly.

Damian’s face twitched as he snorted. "When the hell did they start calling you that?"

Cassandra casually crossed her arms. "After I sucked you dry and you passed out, obviously. I properly introduced myself to them afterward."

Her grin widened. "And one more thing. All four of them are my girls now, at least inside this harem."

Damian stared at her, then at the four women. When all of them calmly nodded, he slowly turned back toward Cassandra. "What the fuck did you do while I was unconscious to make them like this?"

Cassandra giggled softly and placed one finger against her lips. "Secret."

Damian’s expression darkened as he turned toward Cynthia. "Cynthia, you’re...?"

Before he could finish, Cynthia immediately cut him off. "Sorry, Master, but I can’t say."

He turned toward Linsey, but she simply shook her head. Helena did the same.

Damian finally looked toward Evelyn, who replied flatly, "Mistress Cassandra told us not to tell you."

He remained silent for a moment before rubbing his forehead. "Goddammit..."

Damian looked at all five women surrounding him. "What the actual fuck happened while I was unconscious?"
