Damian and Cassandra moved deeper into Raijin no Tani, following the faint rhythm that occasionally echoed through the thunder.

At first, Damian was completely focused on the mysterious drumming sound.

However, the farther they walked, the more he began noticing something strange carved into the surrounding cliffs.

He suddenly stopped and examined one of the carvings more closely.

It was a circular pattern containing several small, comma-shaped swirls arranged around its center.

Damian narrowed his eyes, feeling that the design looked strangely familiar.

After thinking for a moment, he suddenly remembered where he had seen something similar before.

Cassandra also stopped and glanced at him curiously. "Hmm? Darling, do you recognize those strange patterns?"

Damian ignored her for a moment and continued examining the surrounding cliffs.

He soon noticed another circular pattern carved into a distant cliff.

Then another appeared farther away, followed by several more scattered across the valley.

By the time Ren and the others caught up with them near the safer outer path, Damian had already counted nine of these mysterious circles.

Ren noticed what he was looking at and frowned slightly. "Oh, those? They’re ancient formation markings. People have known about them for generations."

However, Damian completely ignored his explanation and continued staring at the circles.

He suddenly remembered something about Raijin from his previous world.

"Wait a minute... If I remember correctly, Raijin usually had eight or nine drums arranged behind his back, didn’t he?"

His eyes slowly narrowed as he glanced between the nine circular patterns.

"And there are exactly nine circles here... Hehe, don’t tell me these things are actually connected to those drums somehow?"

Damian stepped closer and casually touched one of the patterns, but nothing happened at first.

Remembering the sound of the drums, he suddenly had an idea.

He raised his fingers and casually tapped a rhythmic beat against the pattern, imitating the drumbeats he had heard earlier.

However, the moment he finished tapping the rhythm, Damian suddenly vanished into thin air!

Everyone froze in shock, unable to understand what had just happened. For several seconds, nobody moved.

Aiko stared at the empty space where Damian had been standing. "He... disappeared?"

Ren immediately stepped forward and inspected the circular carving. "What the hell did he do?"

Miona’s expression darkened as she rushed closer. "Damian!"

Serina, however, remained strangely calm. She examined the circular pattern for a few moments before smiling faintly.

Stepping closer, she gently rubbed her fingers against the carving. "It seems Damian somehow managed to solve it."

Miona immediately turned toward her. "Solved what?"

Serina lightly tapped the pattern with her finger. "The mechanism. It seems he realized that these circular patterns resemble drums."

She tapped it a second time before continuing. "He then tried replicating the rhythm we heard earlier, and apparently, it worked."

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "So that’s all? To think it was actually this simple."

Without another thought, she stepped toward the same pattern.

Ren quickly raised a hand to stop her. "Wait! We don’t know where it sent him! It could be dangerous!"

Cassandra ignored him completely.

She placed her fingers against the circular carving and began repeating the same rhythm Damian had used.

TAP! TAP! TAP!

The moment she finished tapping the rhythm, the pattern glowed just as it had before, and Cassandra vanished without a trace.

Everyone fell silent again.

Miona stared at the empty space. "She actually followed him just like that."

Linsey scratched her cheek. "That sounds pretty normal for Cassandra."

Ren looked between them incredulously. "You people aren’t worried?!"

Serina calmly folded her arms. "If the formation wanted to kill them, it likely would have attacked directly rather than teleporting them."

She glanced toward the glowing circle. "My guess is that Damian has entered some kind of inheritance site."

Aiko blinked in surprise. "You mean..."

Serina simply nodded.

Miona hesitated for a moment before asking, "Should we follow them?"

Serina shook her head. "There’s no need. We’re water cultivators, so we probably wouldn’t be much help to him anyway."

She smiled reassuringly before adding, "Besides, Cassandra is with him. There’s nothing to worry about."

Miona sighed. "Right. Those two should be fine."

Ren still looked uneasy, but after seeing everyone else remain so calm, he could only accept it.

Serina casually sat down near the cliff. "For now, we wait."

Aiko nodded slowly, and the others followed her example.

Damian slowly opened his eyes and looked around, only to discover that he was standing inside a vast stone chamber.

The chamber was enormous, illuminated by faint bluish-white lightning that flickered across the ancient walls.

However, what surprised him the most was the massive ancient drum standing directly in front of him.

Damian’s eyes widened as he exclaimed, "Damn! There’s actually a drum here!"

He took a step forward but suddenly stopped, his expression turning suspicious. "Wait a minute... How can this be so easy? There’s no way it’s this simple."

However, before he could think any further, a sudden flash of light appeared behind him.

Damian immediately turned around, only to find Cassandra standing there.

Cassandra looked around the enormous stone chamber before turning toward him. "Damian, where are we?"

Damian completely ignored her question and instead stared at her in surprise. "Wait, how did you get here? Did you follow me?"

Cassandra smiled sweetly. "Of course! You’re my man, so naturally, I have to follow you."

She tilted her head slightly before adding, "Besides, did you forget? You’re the one who asked me to accompany you in the first place."

However, before Damian could say anything else, Cassandra suddenly looked past him and noticed the enormous ancient drum.

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Huh... Damn, there really is an inheritance here!"

Without hesitation, Cassandra immediately started walking toward the drum, but Damian quickly grabbed her arm to stop her.

"Wait! Don’t touch it yet!" Damian warned, his expression turning serious. "How can an inheritance be this simple? We don’t even know what will happen if we touch it."

Cassandra raised an eyebrow and thought about his words for a moment before nodding. "Oh, right. I almost forgot about that."

Damian sighed helplessly before carefully looking around the chamber. "For now, let’s just explore this place and see if we can find anything interesting."

Cassandra nodded in agreement and began walking around the chamber, following closely behind him.
