Chapter 400: Samurai Pride Meets Harem Supremacy

Damian and the others eventually finished enjoying their relaxing bath and decided to spend the night at Haruto’s inn before continuing their journey the next day.

By the time they returned to the main building, Haruto was visibly surprised to see Damian and his companions walking back so casually.

After all, he knew better than anyone just how terrifying the temperature of the Hell Heart Spring could be.

Yet not only had they emerged completely unharmed, but they also looked incredibly refreshed, as if they had just finished bathing in an ordinary hot spring.

Seeing this, Haruto couldn’t help looking at Damian and his companions in an entirely different light, realizing that these guests were far more extraordinary than he had initially imagined.

Before Haruto could escort them to their rooms, the inn’s entrance suddenly swung open.

Several cultivators walked inside, each wearing layered armor beneath their dark robes.

Curved swords hung from their waists, and the moment Damian noticed their weapons, he immediately recognized them.

"Katana?"

He glanced at the newcomers again, examining their distinctive armor and weapons before raising an eyebrow in amusement.

"Samurai... Huh, so they exist in this world too."

The man leading the group was a stern-looking Nascent Soul cultivator with tied-back black hair and a long scar running across one cheek.

Behind him followed four other cultivators, all carrying themselves with disciplined confidence.

Haruto’s expression changed slightly the moment he recognized the newcomers.

He quickly straightened his posture and greeted their leader respectfully. "Lord Masaru."

The man gave him a curt nod before his gaze shifted toward Damian and his companions.

Noticing their unfamiliar clothing and different facial features, his expression immediately turned cold.

"Outsiders?" he asked bluntly, making no effort to hide the displeasure in his voice.

Ren, who had been enjoying a meal with Aiko nearby, immediately became uneasy upon hearing the man’s tone.

Damian also noticed the look on Masaru’s face and couldn’t help raising an eyebrow.

After all, he had encountered that kind of expression plenty of times during his travels through different regions.

It was the familiar look of someone who believed outsiders didn’t belong in his territory.

"Oh, great. Another guy who thinks he’s better than everyone else just because we’re foreigners."

Masaru’s gaze lingered on Damian for only a moment before slowly shifting toward the women standing behind him.

That was when his expression suddenly changed.

After all, Damian had brought his entire harem along, and every single woman accompanying him was an extraordinary beauty.

Masaru’s eyes narrowed with obvious interest, while one of the samurai standing behind him quietly chuckled, clearly having similar thoughts.

He folded his arms and looked Damian up and down. "You outsiders seem to be traveling with quite an impressive group of women."

Damian’s expression immediately cooled upon hearing his tone.

Masaru continued with an arrogant smile. "Since you’re already here, why don’t you let your women accompany us tonight? I’m sure we could show them some proper Sakura Empire hospitality."

The entire inn immediately fell silent.

Haruto’s expression changed drastically, clearly realizing that the situation was about to become troublesome.

Damian stared at Masaru for several seconds. However, instead of getting angry, he simply smiled casually. "Oh? And what if I say no?"

Masaru smiled back, seemingly amused by his response. "I think you should consider your answer very carefully, outsider."

He slowly placed one hand on the hilt of his katana before continuing. "We are members of the Kurogane Samurai Guild, one of the most well-known guilds in the Sakura Empire."

Haruto quickly stepped forward, attempting to ease the growing tension. "Young Master Damian, please don’t act impulsively."

He lowered his voice and whispered urgently, "The Kurogane Samurai Guild has several Nascent Soul experts and powerful connections throughout the empire. Lord Masaru himself is an important elder within the guild."

Damian listened quietly to Haruto’s explanation before casually shrugging his shoulders. "Oh, I see. Well, in that case, I’ve made my decision."

Masaru’s smile widened slightly, seemingly expecting Damian to finally understand his position.

However, Damian simply grinned and waved his hand dismissively. "Alright! I’ve decided that I’m definitely not lending you my girls. Anyway, bye!"

Without wasting another second, Damian casually turned around and gestured for the others to follow him.

He walked straight past Masaru as if the man were nothing more than an ordinary stranger standing in his way.

The rest of his group followed just as casually, completely ignoring the stunned samurai and leaving Masaru standing there without another word.

Masaru himself was practically trembling with rage, having never expected an outsider to disrespect him so openly. "How dare you...!"

He immediately drew his katana, and the four samurai behind him quickly followed suit, their weapons gleaming under the inn’s lighting.

Damian could only sigh helplessly upon seeing their reactions. "Seriously... Why does it always have to be like this? Can’t a guy enjoy one damn vacation without running into trouble?"

He then casually turned toward his women and asked, "Alright, who wants to handle these idiots?"

Miona’s eyes immediately lit up with excitement as she rolled her shoulders. "Me! I’ll handle them!"

She stepped forward with an eager grin before adding, "I’ve already relaxed enough in the hot spring, so it’s about time I got some exercise!"

Masaru’s expression darkened even further, clearly furious that they were treating him like some kind of entertainment. "Impudent woman! How dare you look down on us?!"

Miona didn’t bother responding to his threats.

Instead, she simply stared at him for a moment before casually releasing a portion of her cultivation pressure.

BOOOOM!

The entire inn suddenly trembled under the terrifying pressure, causing the surrounding furniture to shake violently.

Masaru and the four samurai immediately froze, their expressions changing drastically as they sensed the overwhelming cultivation aura.

Even Haruto, who had been standing nervously nearby, widened his eyes in disbelief.

"What the hell?! Just what cultivation realm is this woman at?!" Masaru thought in alarm.

From what he could sense, the pressure was at least comparable to that of a Seventh Stage Nascent Soul cultivator!

And even then, he couldn’t tell whether she was revealing her full strength or merely a fraction of it.

After all, Masaru himself was only at the Sixth Stage Nascent Soul Realm, while the four samurai accompanying him were merely Fourth and Fifth Stage Nascent Soul cultivators.

Facing someone who could release such overwhelming pressure so casually, none of them dared to make the first move.

Miona noticed their hesitation and raised an eyebrow in disappointment. "Huh? That’s it? I haven’t even done anything yet! Don’t tell me you guys are actually this weak?"

Masaru gritted his teeth, his face turning increasingly ugly as he realized that fighting this woman would be far more troublesome than he had anticipated.

However, he also remembered that they had another important mission to complete, and provoking an unknown expert here would only create unnecessary complications.

In the end, he reluctantly lowered his katana before gesturing toward his men. "Let’s go!"

Without another word, Masaru turned around and stormed out of the inn, with the four samurai hurriedly following behind him.

Miona stared at their retreating figures in disbelief before clicking her tongue. "Tch! Seriously? They were acting so arrogant earlier, and now they’re running away without even fighting?"

Damian immediately burst into laughter. "Hahaha! What a bunch of cowards! They were so confident when they thought they could bully us!"

The other women also laughed at the ridiculous situation, clearly amused by how quickly the supposedly powerful samurai had backed down.

Meanwhile, Haruto stood frozen nearby, staring at Damian and his companions with growing fear.

Earlier, he had already suspected that these guests were extraordinary after seeing them return unharmed from the Hell Heart Spring.

However, witnessing Miona casually intimidate several Nascent Soul cultivators with nothing more than her cultivation pressure made him realize that he had severely underestimated them.

"Just what kind of terrifying guests have I welcomed into my inn today?!"
