Villainess Trapped in the Horror Game Apocalypse
Chapter 3: Two Stories of Different Genres Combined….
A transparent screen floated in front of Huo Yingsu, just like an illusion.
But this was the kind of illusion that was trying to lure the people or perhaps scamming them.
Because the advertisement felt like it was a second rate advertisement of an unpopular game.
Huo Yingsu really wanted to complaint.
But she restrained her impulse to answer as she looked at the transparent screen in front of her, her head still throbbing in pain.
Even though the pain had lessened ever since she woke up, her emotional turmoil clearly aggravated her injury.
How much?
She had no idea.
She’s not a doctor and Huo Yingsu didn’t even know whether she could survive.
[Countdown 09:40]
10 minutes of countdown.
There was only 10 minutes before midnight, meaning that this so called game would start in 10 minutes.
She had to make her decision before that.
"Live Stream Horror Survival Game... isn’t this the story written by the same author?" Huo Yingsu said to herself, trying hard to remember where she had read this story before.
The author had written several novels and there was also one crappy otome game that she didn’t know why it was published.
And this live broadcast horror game something was also one of them.
But different from the otome game... this novel was full of controversies because the content is quite disgusting and scary.
The story followed a 18 years old girl named Lian Xinrou who suddenly received this invitation because of strong emotional fluctuation. Every first day of the month, she would have to enter the ’horror game world’ that was either terrifying, mysterious, disgusting, dark, full of calculation, or even filled with ghosts.
Because the description was a bit too much, the author even had to tone it down a bit to cater for the younger audiences.
Otherwise, the novel might be banned directly.
*ugh*
Thinking about what she had read in one of them, Huo Yingsu had to resist the nausea that was about to rise up once again.
If entering those worlds alone was clearly a big challenge, it didn’t stop there.
They would have a live broadcast following and watching their every move, only giving enough privacy for them to solve their needs such as going to the bathroom and so on, while the rest of their moves would fall on the view of countless people.
The people or whoever was watching the live broadcast could even give them ’survival points,’ the currency that they could use to survive in those worlds.
Otherwise, their only method to earn survival points would be to complete the mission given to them when they entered these worlds.
As for whether they live or die...
The audience in the live broadcast didn’t care.
They only cared for their entertainment and there was no lack of people who were forced to make irrational action just for the sake of a few meagre survival points.
It was a terrifying world.
As long as they managed to survive, they would return to their original world and could even bring out the abilities, items, or anything they have received from those horror game worlds as long as they were willing to spend survival points.
That should be all.
But the author was truly inhuman and made Lian Xinrou watched as her own original world changed and eventually become one of the mission worlds.
The difference is that the herself and the natives of her world would have to enter the mission world and then come back to that broken world. It was not known how they managed to maintain their collapsing mentality.
If she was not wrong, Lian Xinrou received the invitation on the night on 31 December, just 10 minutes before 1 January.
After that, she entered five worlds before her own shattered and become one of the many mission worlds.
Huo Yingsu’s face turned grim.
Today is 31 March, just 10 minutes before 1 April.
This meant that if she followed the same logic as Lian Xinrou’s worlds, there were already 3 mission worlds and countless people chosen to enter in the past three months.
How many newbies were not something Huo Yingsu could know.
She just know that based on the novel settings, every month there would be a number of people who were chosen to qualify.
[Countdown 05:23]
Huo Yingsu spent three to four minutes recalling everything and her eyes moved towards the countdown in front of her.
In fact, she felt a bit skeptical.
Could it be possible for two completely different worlds to be merged together?
Even if they were written by the same author, it would be terrifying to merge two completely different themed worlds like this.
Two protagonists with their completely different personalities and set skills...
Asking an otome game protagonist to survive in the horror game survival world was the same asking them to jump into the sea without any equipment in the middle of nowhere.
It was an impossible level mission.
But this is the only possibility that Huo Yingsu could think of from her own transmigration and the memory in her mind.
She had become Huo Yingsu from the otome game’s world, but this world is about to enter the horror survival game world...
Maybe it had actually started from before?
Huo Yingsu was not particularly attentive of the change outside of the Huo Family because of her status as the young miss of the Huo Family, but it didn’t mean that she was blind and deaf.
If there were anything strange, it was absolutely impossible for Huo Yingsu to know nothing.
Hmm....
It seemed that the temperature had become colder even though this is already March. Theoretically speaking, this is Spring and winter had already passed by nearly two months or so.
The temperature was still extremely cold like the middle of winter.
The only difference is that there was no snow.
But this kind of phenomenon is normal, right?
[Countdown 03:49]
Or is there anything strange in campus?
Huo Yingsu was too busy confronting that b*stard Sun Yuheng and the ungrateful brother Huo Yingkai to be able to notice anything.
No, in the first place, is there even anything strange?
There was no strange phenomenon that indicated the world will end, right?
[Countdown 03:34]
...Alright, with Huo Yingsu’s IQ and observation ability, she honestly didn’t think that it would be possible for her to find out anything.
Pushing aside the thoughts that the world might end in another month after the fifth’s mission world, is this world even the same world as where Lian Xinrou came from?
That novel clearly stated that there were thousands or even millions of world all over the world.
This world might not be the one where Lian Xinrou came from, right?
Right?
[Countdown 02:58]
Huo Yingsu sighed.
She felt that she was trying to deceive herself as she looked around the room where she was held.
There was nothing in the room and even though Huo Yingsu hadn’t tried to open the door, she had the feeling that it would be useless.
Her hand moved towards the chain on her ankle.
Turning it around, she noticed the small hole for key, but where can she find key in this place?
Uhm, she has hairpin.
But Huo Yingsu had no idea how to use hairpin to unlock keys, especially this kind of specially made chain.
If she struggled, it was not impossible to try.
The problem is that Huo Yingsu knew very well that this is the body of a pampered young miss.
A pampered young miss meant that her strength is extremely low and direct confrontation would likely lead to her own death.
Huo Yingsu didn’t want to die.
[Countdown 01:17]
Time is ticking and Huo Yingsu knew that she had to make the decision soon.
She knew very well that her enemies were the three male protagonists who were supporting Su Ruoxi.
Or perhaps four?
After all, Huo Yingsu was not very clear about the last character and didn’t want to care about him either.
Her head throbbed.
She really couldn’t spare much time thinking about unrelated people right now.
And there were also the unknown bodyguards and the person whom those despicable people sold her off to.
Selling people were illegal?
The police can be bribed.
It was a very common tactic for those in power and Huo Yingsu had already seen that practice for so many times.
She didn’t know whether other families were clean or not, but she knew that the Huo Family was far from clean.
If they wanted to hide her disappearance, it was extremely easy.
But Huo Yingsu’s brother, forever a businessman, would rather sold Huo Yingsu for a good price rather than killing her directly.
Should she be glad that she was given a chance of survival?
Or should she be angry that she was sold off?
Huo Yingsu didn’t know.
[Countdown: 00:13]
Time is running out.
"...I don’t know whether I can possibly survive or not," Huo Yingsu spoke out slowly. The girl’s clear voice was hoarse due to lack of water or perhaps because she had cried too much before?
Huo Yingsu had no idea.
"But since this is the only path available, then I accept."
The corner of Huo Yingsu’s lips curled up slightly.
She didn’t know whether the world is truly changing or it was just a fragments.
But Huo Yingsu knew very well that if she didn’t take this chance, there might not be any other chance in the future.
And when she came back, she would come back here if she could survive.
Otherwise, it would just be a corpse.
There are always choices.
But since Huo Yingsu wanted to survive, she simply took the choice that will grant her higher survival.
[Received. Welcome to the Live Stream Horror Survival Game, Miss Huo Yingsu. We wish you have a great time playing]
