Chapter 57: Decision

The moment Huo Yingsu made the decision, she stood up and quickly take out some water to wash up her face.

She didn’t really want to take a bath here.

Who knows whether the water is clean or not.

Once she finished, she took out the canned food, opened it and gobbled it up at the fastest speed possible. There were only a few cans of canned food left in her bag, but it should be enough until tomorrow.

There’s only 1 day and 7 hours before her first Live Stream Horror Survival Game is over.

As long as she survived until the time was up, she would be able to come back to reality and then face the harsh pursuit.

...In other words: she didn’t have much time to rest.

The time when she stayed in the Live Stream Horror Survival Game was arguably the best resting time that she could possibly receive during this period of time.

The barrage clearly showed their curiosity towards these people who suddenly ’appeared’ on the screen.

Huo Yingsu herself stopped running and instead hid behind one of the walls.

She had no idea whether these people were hostile or friendly. Whether they were players or natives were also another questions.

If they were players, the Live Stream Horror Survival Game would never stop them from killing other people just to get the additional meagre reward. If they were natives, they might think that she was threatening them by her presence, so they might attack her.

...Either way, Huo Yingsu didn’t want to take any risk in the slightest bit.

Bang! Bang!

There were loud sound coming from the apartment, seemingly the sound of beating or something like that. Huo Yingsu frowned and continued hiding without any intention of showing herself to others.

She glanced at the areas and after calculation, she sneaked closer to the door and peeked inside.

The lobby is empty.

Huo Yingsu didn’t know which one is Pan Hailin’s apartment since she didn’t try to ask it before.

She could only try to take a look at the rooms one by one.

Hearing the commotion was further away, Huo Yingsu slowly walked inside.

Room one was empty, the second one too, the third one....

’There’s no one on the first floor. Did they clear out the entire first floor because they think that the second floor or above is safer than the first floor?’ Huo Yingsu glanced out.

The number of evolved insects had indeed decreased because many of them headed over to other cities because of some reasons. But this didn’t mean that there were no evolved insects at all.

In fact, their number remained relatively large and it would be dangerous to go out without any sort of protection.

’Let’s try the second floor.’

Taking a deep breath, Huo Yingsu started walking to the second floor and it didn’t take long for her to hear words from one of the rooms. The people inside didn’t seem to be concerned that their words could be heard by others.

They might have think that aside from evolved insects, there would not be any other danger in this place.

"Tsk, those damnable insects have basically destroyed everything. Vegetables, fruits, meat, and even bread are not spared."

"If this continues, we won’t be able to survive."

"Don’t we still have enough supplies from above?"

"Heh, you’re right. Rather than becoming a burden, isn’t it better to give them a much more meaningful life?"
