Villainous Family Young Master: My Life is Over
Volume 2: Chapter 17 - Magic Baptism (Part l)
"Today, we will be learning the Attributes relationship and application of Magic, everyone, open your textbooks and turn to page 21.
Magic is mainly divided into Seven types - Fire, Earth, Thunder, Water, Wind, Light, and Dark; These seven attributes each have their own special quality and ability.
Fire is an extremely volatile attribute. It is explosive, hot, and possesses immense destructive power. However, its greatest weakness lies in its instability. Without proper control, it can just as easily harm the caster as the enemy.
Wind is swift, sharp, and ever-changing. It excels in speed and precision, capable of slicing through defenses and enhancing mobility. Unlike Fire, it is not inherently destructive, but in the hands of a skilled mage, it becomes deadly.
Thunder is a fast and violent attribute. It embodies speed and penetration, striking like a flash and leaving little room for reaction. Thunder magic is particularly effective against solid defenses due to its piercing nature.
Earth, in contrast, is the embodiment of stability and defense. It is firm, resilient, and difficult to break. Earth magic is often used for protection, barriers, and terrain manipulation, making it indispensable in prolonged battles.
Water is flexible and adaptive. It can flow, crash, or envelop its target depending on the caster's intent. Water magic is known for its versatility, capable of both offense and defense, as well as support functions such as healing and suppression.
Light represents purity, harmony, and enhancement. It is often associated with healing, protection, and strengthening effects. Light magic can dispel negative influences and restore balance. At the same time, it can also destroy evil, break demons, and is a bane to curses.
Dark, on the other hand, represents darkness, decay, curses, and corruption. It is mysterious and often feared, capable of eroding defenses, weakening enemies, and manipulating shadows. It is an inherently Evil attribute.
Remember, no attribute is absolutely superior. Each has its strengths and weaknesses.
For example,
Fire restrains Wind and generates Earth,
Wind restrains Thunder and generates Fire
Thunder restrains Earth and generates Water
Earth restrains Water and generates Thunder
Water restrains Fire and generates Wind"

The teacher drew a diagram to show the mutual generation and restrain relationship between the various attributes.
From the backseat, I could of clearly see him explain various concepts and application of Magic. But most of the students were not listening to the teacher and dozing off. Only some students and the perfect Princess Yumina were listening intently.

But it's no wonder, most of the people here have already learned what the teacher is teaching. It's normal to be board.
Just look at the kids in modern era, aren't they also bored of class. So this is classic case of slacking off.
Ding-Dong! The class bell rang.
"That'll be so for today. See you in the next class!"
As the teacher left, the class became noisy. Be it Earth or Otherworld, getting off from class is the most relaxed time for the students.
Normally, I would be in a similar state to the other students as after school was my free time alone where I could do anything I desired.
But not today.
I had received a notice from the teacher, regarding the Magic Baptism, yesterday, basically saying: "Student Robert, your Magic Baptism has been prepared. Please gather in the St. Maria Cathedral after class tomorrow."
Thus, my destination was already clear.
...
...
The Royal Academy was enormous. White marble buildings stood proudly beneath the blue sky and massive towers rose high into the heavens like spears piercing the clouds.
Beautiful gardens surrounded the pathways, their fountains flowing with crystal-clear water reflected the sunlight like scattered jewels.
Despite having seen this scenery many times, I couldn't help but be amazed by the architecture and beauty of this world. It was no way inferior to the modern era.
Sometimes I wondered whether the Author has some hand in this development because this world looks even more advance than modern world in some cases.
The corridors of the Academy were bustling with students. Nobles dressed in elegant uniforms gathered into groups, chatting and laughing as servants carried their books and belongings behind them.
I quietly walked past them, following the stone path leading toward the St. Maria Cathedral
St. Maria Cathedral is the only Church inside the Royal Academy, located near the Central Plaza, which is at the center of the Royal Academy. It worships the Goddess of Light who is said to have once bestowed her blessings on the Radiant King.
The reason it is called St. Maria Cathedral is because more than a hundred years ago, a student from the Royal Academy, named 'Maria' was promoted to the position of the Saintness in the Holy Church and saved countless people across the continent.
The further I walked down the path, the fewer students there were. Most nobles had already left with their attendants. Probably, only those in need for Magic Baptism were invited to the St. Maria Cathedral.
Soon, the spacious St. Maria Cathedral appeared before me.
The Grand Cathedral stood at the very centre of the Royal Academy. Its towering structure was forged from pure white stone veined with faint traces of gold, giving the entire building a sacred brilliance beneath the sunlight.
Countless flying buttresses extended outward like the wings of angels, supporting enormous spires that pierced deep into the sky. At the peak of every spire rested crystalline ornaments shaped like stars, each one glowing softly with flowing mana.
Massive stained-glass windows covered the cathedral walls from top to bottom. They depicted ancient legends of Gods, heroes, etc. When sunlight passed through them, countless colors poured into the cathedral interior like rivers of holy radiance, bathing everything in dreamlike beauty.
An enormous silver bells hung high above the central towers. It's purpose was to wake up students and remind them of the time in the Royal Academy.
The moment I entered the Cathedral, I noticed a familiar figure.
Teacher Klaus!
He is the knight who was testing the students, during the Entrance Exam.
Now this was awkward. After I how I broke his sword and how the rumours spread, meeting him again, was quite awkward.
He won't blame me, will be?
Unexpectedly, teacher Klaus noticed me too. But unlike what I thought, he patted my shoulders quite amicably.
"It's you kid. Are you also here for Magic Baptism? But that's to be expected. With your strengths you should have reached the level of promotion long ago."
"Hm!"
I nodded, feeling the heavy force from my shoulders. This teacher, his strength was unexpectedly great.
"Since you have arrive then go stand in the line. Magic Baptism will begin soon."
