He now possessed five talents, and one of them was even an SSS-Rank talent!
Looking at the panel, Victor couldn’t help recalling the situation he had found himself in when he first arrived in this world.
Back then, although the original Victor possessed the status of a duke’s heir, he had wasted an enormous amount of time on meaningless pursuits.
As for his strength, he might have been considered fairly capable among ordinary noble students, but there was still a considerable gap between him and genuine geniuses.
Now, however, things were completely different.
If he continued developing at this pace, then even when facing those true geniuses standing at the very pinnacle of the Empire, he might eventually possess the qualifications to compete with them.
But he didn’t allow himself to become immersed in such thoughts for long.
After all, he was still some distance away from reaching the Second Tier. Thinking about such distant matters now was somewhat premature.
"Better deal with the problems right in front of me first."
He closed the panel and picked up the Inferno Prison Secret Realm Entry Token resting beside him, flicking it around his fingers.
"Young Master, are you inside?" Evelyn’s voice came from the other side of the door.
"Come in."
The door opened, and Evelyn entered carrying a neatly organized set of documents. Her gaze immediately fell on the token in Victor’s hand, which he was twirling around his fingers with such ease.
"I knew I’d find you here."
"What is it? Something you need?"
"Master Morris just sent over Her Highness’s follow-up examination report."
She placed the documents on the desk.
"He recommends that Her Highness remain at the manor for a few more days."
"Then we’ll follow his arrangements."
Victor picked up the report and glanced through it.
"Has the Sacred Spring’s usage record been taken care of as well?"
"It’s already been sealed. Apart from the few people involved in the treatment, no one will have access to the detailed records."
"Excellent."
Hearing this, Victor placed the report aside.
He had already completed the purification portion of the treatment that he was responsible for. Naturally, the remaining recovery process should be left to healers who were more experienced in such matters.
If he had to personally supervise even something like this, then what was the point of the family maintaining so many personnel?
Seeing him pick up the secret realm token again, Evelyn pushed another document toward him.
"Also, this is the Inferno Prison Secret Realm exploration record I compiled using the Academy’s publicly available information. I’ve marked the areas where High-Purity Fire Element Cores were discovered during previous expeditions."
"Let me see." A gleam of interest shone in Victor’s eyes.
When he unfolded the document, the first thing that caught his attention was a remarkably detailed map.
Several areas along the outer perimeter had been marked as regions that had already been explored numerous times. However, the deeper the map extended, the fewer records there were, and some locations had nothing more than brief descriptions of their danger levels.
Nevertheless, Victor quickly noticed that Evelyn had placed special markings beside three particular regions.
"These three places?"
"All three have records of producing High-Purity Fire Element Cores," Evelyn explained.
"However, two are located in the middle regions of the secret realm, while the third lies even deeper. The Academy’s records aren’t complete, and Fire Element Cores don’t appear during every expedition."
Victor nodded.
That made sense.
If High-Purity Fire Element Cores could be found everywhere, they wouldn’t be considered precious resources capable of improving High Level Fire Element Affinity.
He continued examining the information and soon noticed a short annotation beside one of the marked regions.
— Frequent activity within the underground lava veins. Unstable mana fluctuations.
"This area has the highest concentration of fire elements?"
"According to the existing records, yes," Evelyn replied.
"However, relatively powerful Second Tier fire-attribute magical beasts have also appeared there. Ordinary First Tier professionals rarely venture that deep voluntarily."
Victor lightly tapped the map with his finger.
Second Tier magical beasts...
He had already faced a Second Tier magical beast once and barely survived. But now that his body had fully recovered and he possessed a new talent, he had more confidence than before.
Of course, confidence was one thing. He wasn’t arrogant enough to believe he could easily defeat every Second Tier magical beast.
This was especially true in an environment with an extremely high concentration of fire elements, where the magical beasts that had lived there for years were often far better adapted to the surroundings than visiting professionals.
If he truly intended to venture into the deeper regions, he would need to make further preparations.
"Arrange the basic supplies for entering the secret realm according to the list we discussed previously."
Victor closed the document.
"Healing potions, mana recovery potions, and equipment suitable for high-temperature environments. Try to choose reliable, high-quality supplies."
"Would you like the Academy to arrange an accompanying team?"
"No need." Victor shook his head. "I have my own plans."
Evelyn didn’t continue trying to persuade him as she crossed that item off the document.
She had already grown accustomed to Victor making his own decisions on important matters. As long as he wasn’t embarking on an obviously reckless adventure without preparation, she wouldn’t repeatedly interfere.
However, just as she was preparing to leave, Victor suddenly asked,
"By the way, the family’s private training ground is still in its original location, right?"
Evelyn lowered her pen. "Of course."
"Perfect."
Victor stood and casually picked up Crimson Flame Fang, which was leaning against his desk.
