After the war ended, the purging of the evil cult factions also drew to a close, and everything was returning to a peaceful everyday life.

Regarding the great Human-Demon war, no one mentioned it anymore.

It wasn’t because people had forgotten, but because mentioning it meant having to list names, and the list of names was simply too long.

The fourth academic year had passed amidst the war, so after it concluded, Jeremy’s group stepped into their fifth year.

Griffin had consumed too much energy during the war and suffered such a severe backlash that he fell into a coma for a month. By the time Griffin returned, the new semester had already been underway for a month.

The day Griffin appeared at the classroom door, the five of them were practicing array formations in the backyard. Griffin didn’t say a single word about where he had been lying for a month; he just knocked twice on the doorframe and threw down a training schedule on the desk that was twice as thick as before.

Their daily life after Griffin’s return wasn’t any different from before, consisting of practical combat training coupled with an outdoor training expedition.

The training location, naturally, was the family’s forbidden ground that Yusha once mentioned could lead to a mysterious serendipity.

Jeremy didn’t hide anything; he invited all the friends he trusted enough, including Evelyn’s younger sister, Thalira.

Of course… Griffin went along too.

Well, because they had begged a little.

The bone key lay in Jeremy’s palm. With just a single drop of blood, its surface revealed thin white veins resembling tree roots. They ran a full circle, then erected a frameless, doorless portal in the empty space, appearing only as a hazy, mist-gathered flat surface.

The group stepped through one by one.

Overall, it was only through the accounts of their companions that Jeremy’s group learned the serendipitous place Yusha spoke of was an Ancient land related to the realm of the gods.

Its name was—The Hopeless Divine Void.

Also known as… The God Burial Abyss.

Rumor had it that in the Ancient era, gods could also travel through special passageways to different dimensional planes, and as long as they didn’t use divine power, they could settle down like ordinary people.

And the Sylvanor continent once had two deities descend upon it: a God of Light belonging to the righteous faction, and a Fallen God symbolizing darkness.

Both concealed their identities, turning into ordinary people without spiritual power.

But ironically, these two gods happened to meet each other, ultimately defying fate and divine rules to fall in love.

They later gave birth to twins and eventually, to protect their children, suffered divine punishment and passed away.

This area, the God Burial Abyss, was exactly where they died.

After the two gods perished, the twins they gave birth to also disappeared without a trace.

The physical body and soul of the God of Light turned into nutrients that nourished all living things. The God of Darkness, bearing the power of darkness and destruction, after his soul scattered, had his bones transform into a dimensional plane and his inherent power turn into a calamity, eroding this space into a Hopeless Land on par with the Wasteland.

But what astonished people was that these two inherently conflicting powers did not clash at all, but rather coexisted peacefully.

Perhaps due to the lingering obsession of the two gods, or maybe they had done something before they died, this space, relying on the two powers, formed two completely distinct twin lands.

One side was light, the other side was darkness.

The boundary between the two sides was a perfectly straight line running from one horizon to the other. Standing there, the right foot would be in warm sunlight, while the left foot would sink into a darkness so dense one could feel its weight.

This place, nourished by divine power, was equivalent to an independent minor dimensional realm. Without a special key, one could not enter, nor could the outside world interfere with it.

As for how the first-generation head of the Prometheus family obtained this key… no one knew.

The Hopeless Abyss inside the God Burial Abyss could entirely replace the danger-ridden Wasteland for mages to train. Because of the nourishment of divine power and hundreds of millions of years of evolution, this space had become a place where extreme danger and immense opportunities coexisted.

The things living inside were not magical beasts, but entities born from the bones of a dead god. They were not infectious, not mutated, and were more valuable than Wasteland magical beasts in one regard: killing one meant there was something to bring back.

As for the land representing light, the Realm of Light, the opportunities were extremely abundant, and its danger level paled in comparison to the Hopeless Abyss, making it a veritable treasure trove.

Unfortunately, unlike the unrestricted Hopeless Abyss, only Light bodies with a light element affinity reaching 100 could enter the Realm of Light connected to it.

Of course, setting aside others… Jeremy, after awakening the Supreme Mark, had long reached the absolute peak of affinity with all elements, so naturally, he could enter and exit at will.

It was unknown what Yusha had done, but this key could only be kept by Jeremy; otherwise, it would automatically dissipate and return to Jeremy’s hands.

And without the key, one could not enter. Even if one did enter, without the key, they would be restricted, and exceeding the fixed time limit would result in forced teleportation out.

Lomita had tried to take the key into her own hands exactly three times. All three times, it disappeared from her palm before she could even close her grip.

Therefore, this space… was now effectively considered Jeremy’s private property.

And aside from Griffin, none of the other companions could enter the Realm of Light, let alone having any intention of revealing this secret.

But even so, after leaving this place and returning to the academy, Jeremy still proactively reported the existence of this space to the empire and the academy.

The report was submitted in the proper format, including entry conditions, stay duration limits, and an inventory of harvestable items. The empire read it and remained silent for nearly a week before responding with a red-sealed edict.

The Realm of Light would open to the outside world once a year; anyone meeting the requirements could enter.

As for the Hopeless Abyss, it would replace the Wasteland to become the academy’s new testing ground, open to both academy students and other mages alike.

Jeremy wasn’t a selfless contributor; he simply made this decision for the sake of the big picture.

The recent great war had caused heavy losses to the human race’s elite tier, and it was unknown if any other disasters would descend in the future. Therefore, using this highly suitable training space as a cultivation ground for mages was the most logical choice.

For Jeremy, he gained reputation while losing absolutely nothing.

In the second week after returning from Yusha’s forbidden family ground, Jeremy received a letter from the Western Ducal Estate.

It wasn’t a letter from his parents.

The sender was—Sylas Valmont.
