Bella Acker sneered inwardly, but didn’t show a hint of it on her face. She gestured for Rhonda to enter the elevator and then smiled, "Rhonda, I really envy you and your boyfriend’s relationship. So loving, when will you send me an invitation to have some wedding candy?"

Bella Acker had already seen that man with Aunt Rhodes this morning, and saying such things was essentially mocking Rhonda.

Destroying someone else’s family, being a third party, and yet still boasting, what happened to the bottom line of being human?

Bella Acker arrived at the TV station, first acquainting herself with the program host, then rehearsing some segments, followed by makeup and the recording. She went in the morning and recorded until more than five in the afternoon.

Filming a variety show felt even more exhausting than a whole day of shooting, as soon as she got in the car Bella exhaled heavily.

"Bella, you should eat something to settle your stomach, Ms. Young has already set out to meet Director Ford, we’ll head straight there now," Judy Zimmerman said while starting the car and slowly driving out.

"Okay." Bella Acker responded, glancing at the cake beside her without much appetite, then thought about it and took out her phone to call Talia.

The phone rang twice before it was answered, a little girl’s sweet voice came through, "Mommy, are you done working?"

"Yes, but now I have to meet Grandpa to discuss a new script," Bella replied, "Talia, are you being good over there?"

"Very good." The little girl giggled, "Daddy is working, I’m playing with my two sisters, we bought a lot of yummy food."

"Don’t eat too many sweets, your teeth will hurt later."

"Okay, Mommy, I understand. Mommy, will you come to get me after you’re done?"

"Alright. Once I’m done with work I’ll come get you, kissy!"

"Mwah~~" The little girl kissed the phone and then said, "I’ll be good and listen to Daddy, goodbye Mommy."

After hanging up, the little girl put away the phone into the small bag she was carrying.

The two little assistants playing with her exchanged looks.

It’s the boss lady’s phone call.
