Chapter 885: Chapter 884: Partners in Crime

Shirley Caldwell was getting more and more upset, "And about last time, you said Bella Acker took three million from my mom, so when I went to find out about it, I got scolded by my mom when I returned home. Bella Acker didn’t even accept the house. Where did you get your information? It’s not reliable at all!"

"Shirley, we’ve been friends for so many years, how could I possibly try to play you?" Rhonda smiled and stepped forward to hold Shirley Caldwell’s hand again, "This time, it’s definitely reliable news that Bella Acker is coming here to meet the director, and she did come, but she took the back door, so you didn’t see her."

"The back door?" Shirley Caldwell frowned.

"Yes, she came up from the underground parking lot, entering from the backdoor of the tea house." Rhonda pulled Shirley Caldwell to sit on the sofa, poured her a cup of tea, and said, "Take a sip of tea to calm down, there’s no need to get mad about someone so unimportant. After all, compared to her, you’re much more important."

Hearing Rhonda’s flattering words, the anger on Shirley Caldwell’s face finally subsided a bit, "What about last time?"

Rhonda sighed, "Last time, I just happened to hear someone mention it, and mentioned it while chatting with you. I was worried about you, afraid you’d be taken advantage of and not know it. I didn’t think the information would be inaccurate. I acted out of concern, and you snapped at me." She said this with a deliberate sigh, seeming slightly upset.

Seeing this, Shirley Caldwell softened immediately, "Alright, I wronged you, I apologize, okay?"

"Who wants your apology? I just hope you have a good, happy life without being taken advantage of." Rhonda sighed, "Shirley, I don’t have any family, I’ve always treated you as my own sister, hoping you’ll be happier than anyone else."

"I know, you’ve always been considerate and on my side, I remember all of it. Just now I missed Bella Acker and got so upset that I snapped at you." Shirley Caldwell took Rhonda’s hand, acting a bit coquettish, "My dear Rhonda, don’t be mad at me, and don’t ignore me, okay?"

Rhonda gave a helpless smile, "How could I bear to be mad at you or to ignore you. Don’t worry, even if I get mad at myself, I won’t be mad at you. This time we didn’t vent your anger, next time for sure. If Bella Acker dares to bully you, I won’t let her get away with it."

"No, you’re too famous to do such things now, let me handle it. You just need to tell me where Bella Acker shows up." Shirley Caldwell said, "Rhonda, you’ve been good to me, and I want to be good to you too. As for that Bella Acker, I’ll make sure she pays!"

A fleeting gleam of triumph flashed in Rhonda’s eyes, quickly concealed, "Then shall I tell you next time I know where she is?"

"Yes, notify me as soon as you get the news. I’ll go with some people, and if I can’t destroy her, I’ll at least cripple her!" Shirley Caldwell’s expression turned dark again, "She dreams of marrying into the Caldwell Family without knowing her worth, pure fantasy!"

Hearing her words, Rhonda gave a faint smile. Whether Bella Acker wanted to marry into the Caldwell Family or not, she didn’t know, but she herself truly wanted to marry honestly as Mrs. Caldwell. Unfortunately, this fool Shirley knew nothing, yet regarded her as a dear sister.

But without this fool, indeed, some things would be difficult to accomplish.
