What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?
Chapter 1567 We’re Going Villain By Proxy Now
"What are you thinking about?" Ira asked, prompting Tsara to look over to me as well.
I’m currently out on a date with these two because I felt a little bad flicking their foreheads early today so I took them out for a walk around the Academy and now we were seated in a gazebo in one of the parks along the edges of the island.
Of course, I made the same promise to Delmare and Odeta as well since they were also involved in my day time patrolling so I would be going on private dates with them later as well.
I turned to look at Ira, pausing for a moment to consider what I should actually tell her.
I decided I might as well just be honest about it and let out a sigh, "Why is trying to be a villain harder than I thought?"
Tsara tilted her head at me, "What do you mean, Aster?"
"I mean... I’m trying to be a villain here but somehow people keep seeing the things I’m doing as just... Normal. Like I’m not even being bad enough for people to think that I’m a bad person!"
Ira smirked at me, "Oh? I know a way to fix that instantly."
I turned to her, feeling my anticipation build up, "Oh?! What is it? Tell me!"
Her smirk widened, "It’s simple, Aster. You just need to kill someone. Instant villainfication~"
I groaned at her, though I know that she doesn’t actually expect me to follow through with her suggestion at all.
Tsara leaned herself against me, "Why do you still need to be a villain, Aster? Wasn’t the plan to do that started only because we wanted to make sure that others won’t be able to look down or take advantage of us? But now that you are unofficially recognised as the best student and also a member of the Student Council, we have already achieved that goal, didn’t we?"
I grimaced, knowing that what she said was true.
I let out a sigh, "At this point... I guess it’s a matter of pride. I’ve written so many villains and acted this way just to play that part in my life and apparently that still wasn’t enough to get me recognised as a villain? That’s pretty much saying that I wasn’t good enough..."
Both Ira and Tsara nodded their heads as though they understood my thoughts.
Ira leaned against my shoulder, "No offense Aster. But I think you really are a terrible villain because you’re just too nice. But if you’re really determined to be one... I have a really easy solution for it."
I gave her a pointed look, "Does that involve me killing someone indiscriminately?"
"Oh, no. Something even better actually~ You just need to own what we do for you~"
I tilted my head, "Didn’t I already give you girls the green light to just do whatever you want to be the villains as well?"
"Hmmm~ Yes but that only makes us villains. We need to do it where people believe that you are the one orchestrating it."
"What do you mean?"
"Hmm~ Hmm~ I think it’ll be easier if we showed you instead. Shall we? Tsara?"
Tsara rose to her feet and dusted herself with a smile, "I suppose if it is for Lady Aster’s sake. I can deal with it."
What are these two talking about?
Ira stood up as well and reached out her hand towards me, prompting me to grab a hold of it and allowing her to pull me to my feet.
"Now, you just need to follow us and no matter what happens, just act like whatever we’re doing is something that you approve of and exactly what you want us to do. Don’t show any other reactions aside from that."
That is... Oddly specific? But I guess I’ll just have to follow along and see what they mean...
We moved towards the bazaar area, the evening air cooling against our skin as both Ira and Tsara led the way in front of me while I followed behind them.
There were still several students out and about even at this time of the day, since there were still clubs that were advertising themselves around the school right now just to see if they could nab some students to join their clubs.
Which was why it came as no surprise when we ran into a group of them who seemed to be promoting some kind of body building club with their members all being exceptionally muscular and trying to convince some first year students to join them.
"Look, what happens when your mana runs out? You can only depend on your body! That’s why it’s a must to train it too!"
"Don’t you want to have a good body like ours? Join our Muscle Training Club! We’ll get you all swole and ripped in no time!"
"Don’t just ignore training your muscles just because you have magic! You should train with us!"
I thought we would walk around them but Ira and Tsara moved straight towards them without hesitation.
Wait... Are they planning to...
They stopped in front of the group, prompting the group to turn and face Ira and Tsara with the club members looking excited since they thought they just had two prospective members come up to them.
Their hopes were dashed when Ira and Tsara gave them a look of disdain before Ira said a single word to them with as much contempt as she could.
"Move."
The first year students, who seemed to already recognise all three of us, quickly stepped aside to make way.
One of the seniors however, obviously did not recognise us and remained where he was.
He opened his mouth to speak, "Who--"
That was all he managed to say before Ira grabbed him by the face and pulled him down to stare into his eyes.
Her eyes glowed red and the guy let out a scream before it got cut off abruptly, his body going limp.
She then dumped the guy aside before staring at the other seniors who got the message and quickly stepped out of the way.
Tsara then turned to me, "Is this acceptable, Lady Aster?"
Honestly, I had to mentally pat myself on the back for being able to maintain my poker face and also recovering fast enough to respond to Tsara without making it look weird.
"Good enough. Let’s go."
The two moved back to their positions in front of me and continued walking, none of us looking back or saying anything else until we turned around a corner.
Ira then turned to me and flashed me a proud smile, "How was that?"
I blinked at her, "I... Honestly don’t really see how that would change things?"
Tsara shook her head, "A single instance like this won’t instantly show its effects. But if we coordinate with the others and keep this up constantly, all of our notoriety will transfer to you, Lady Aster."
"The real problem..." Ira continued, her voice sinking lower into a conspiratorial whisper. "Is whether you would be willing to shoulder all of that yourself, Aster."
"Err... Should I even ask what that means?"
"Before this, we would do our own ’villain’ stuff which would make people see us as the villain with only a few of them attributing our deeds to you. If we were to do what we did earlier, they would then start to link all of our actions to you instead. And once we do that, there won’t be any going back either."
Hmm... Which means... I’m basically delegating the work of being a villainess to my girls instead while I just stand there and reap the notoriety for myself?
"I suppose I should also ask if you would mind doing this for me as well? Because it seems like I’m making you girls do all the work while I do nothing..." I asked.
Ira smirked and reached out to hold my hand, "This is why I said you are too nice to be a villain, Aster. And honestly, that’s why I love you for it. You don’t need to worry about us, I believe I can speak for everyone when I say that we are happy to do this for you."
Hmm... Without context, it sounds like they were happy to make me into a villain by pushing all of their bad deeds onto me.
That’s perfect then~
I grinned, "In that case, could I just leave it to you girls to make me a villain too?"
Ira nodded, "Oh, you better not regret that, Aster~ Because I definitely won’t be holding back on this."
Tsara also nodded, "I will also do my best, Lady Aster. I will make sure that these lost ones know of your greatness through me and they will show you the proper respect you deserve."
I really wanted to point out that they are doing all this to help me look bad to the students but...
Whatever. Like I said... It’s a matter of pride now!
Just... No permanent damage to other people, ok?
