Chapter 125: Chapter 118: Explosion in Eira Grass Quantity

Inside her backpack, she had already stockpiled 125 Antidotes and 125 Eira Grass Seeds. Eira Grass took two hours to grow to maturity, and initially, there had only been five seeds.

The ability to cultivate such a large amount of Eira Grass and seeds was the result of combining Big Turtle’s Farming Skill with her C-level Collection Skill, which allowed the Eira Grass to land a critical hit and yield five times the usual amount of seeds. For every unit of Eira Grass produced, Rowan Rhodes would use a Medical Table to craft an Antidote. Thus, for an entire afternoon, her Medical Tables were operating non-stop. The number of Medical Tables used had also been carefully calculated to maximize the production of all the Antidotes.

However, these hundred-plus Antidotes would just be a drop in the bucket if placed in the Sea Survival Shop. Rowan wasn’t in a hurry to sell them right now.

With these thoughts in mind, she made her way up to the third floor.

The moment it saw Rowan, Big Turtle joyfully crawled toward her. "Master, a new batch has been harvested."

As it spoke, Rowan noticed that the nearby Storage Box now contained an additional 625 Eira Grass plants and 625 Eira Grass Seeds. It was safe to say that Eira Grass could only experience such explosive growth in Big Turtle’s hands. After all, Rowan herself only had a five-times drop rate when collecting in the wild. If she planted them herself, the yield would only equal the number she planted—and if they didn’t grow well, she might not get any seeds at all.

Truth be told, Rowan had never expected to mass-produce Eira Grass in the first place. Big Turtle had given her a massive surprise. It was through this experience that she finally realized just how incredible of a right-hand assistant she had gained. It truly lived up to being a Pet Egg that could only be unlocked at Level 10—and an extremely rare one at that. It was clearly meant for a base-level raft.

"You’ve worked hard." Rowan couldn’t help but pick up Big Turtle, planting several big kisses right on its outstretched head.

Being kissed made Big Turtle visibly shy, and its tone turned bashful. "I told you leaving it to me would be no problem."

"But we’ve reached our limit for now," Rowan said. "How about I sell the rest of the seeds? How many do you think would be appropriate to sell?"

Although she had added five new tiers of shelves, each tier only had 25 Seed Beds, and each Seed Bed could only grow four Eira Grass plants. Now that the number of seeds had reached over six hundred, she simply didn’t have enough space to plant them all. If they multiplied again in the next wave, that would be over three thousand seeds. At that point, the concern wouldn’t be about how much they could harvest, but rather how much Big Turtle could actually manage.

Big Turtle was still just a baby. She didn’t even have to guess to know that it definitely couldn’t take care of thousands of plants. Rowan was afraid that if she asked directly, the little guy would stubbornly insist it could handle it, so she had framed the question differently.

"If Master plants them with me, we can fill five hundred, and we can sell the rest," Big Turtle replied happily, clearly letting out a long sigh of relief.

The implication in its words was glaringly obvious: it couldn’t even manage 500 Eira Grass plants on its own. Seeming a little embarrassed about having to ask Rowan for help, it added, "Once I level up, I won’t need Master’s help anymore."

Hearing this, Rowan knew exactly where things stood. She patted Big Turtle’s head and smiled. "Okay."

Subsequently, after setting aside five hundred seeds, Rowan listed the remaining hundred or so Eira Grass Seeds directly on the Sea Survival Shop. The price of Eira Grass Seeds would only be higher, never lower, than the exorbitant cost of Antidotes.

Rowan was very aware that Jaina Harmon had given her the seeds purely out of gratitude. Right now, Antidotes were fetching a rather high price on the market. Under such circumstances, naturally, she couldn’t disrupt the market. She only sold the leftover Eira Grass Seeds because they were of no use in her hands anyway. If she had been capable of planting them herself, she wouldn’t have sold a single one.

As for why she didn’t put them up for sale in District 122, it was simply because she didn’t want to arouse Jaina’s suspicions. With the next batch, she would be able to sell large quantities of Eira Grass Seeds in District 122 under her own name.

The moment Rowan listed the items on the Sea Survival Shop, they were snatched up in the blink of an eye. Some players had only just seen the listing, but before they could even make a move, the items were gone. They were left wondering if they had just been dreaming.

"Were my eyes playing tricks on me just now? Eira Grass Seeds actually showed up."

"Your eyes weren’t playing tricks. Eira Grass Seeds definitely appeared."

"There were only a hundred or so, and they were gone in a flash."

"That’s completely normal. There are plenty of players keeping their eyes glued to the shop 24/7."

"But who on earth is actually selling Eira Grass Seeds?"

"It has to be the person producing the Antidotes, right?"
