After the Daoist family’s arrival, they immediately headed towards Quan Xiaotong.

A family of four prodigies.

Excluding ordinary people, the Daoist, with his own cultivation in the Divine Dao Realm, taught three disciples in the Divine Dao Realm.

This alone was enough to draw attention.

This was also the reason why the Four Extremes Hall initially couldn’t tolerate the Daoist—his own brilliance aside, even his disciples were brilliant.

He seemed to take all the good fortune, making others feel uneasy.

The Daoist, seeing the others, grinned and said unceremoniously, “Who do I see here? You two fools and that defeated dog from the Yama Hall.”

It’s undeniable that the Daoist knew how to infuriate with words, and almost drove the four into a fit of rage with a single sentence.

Wuxian was the last to arrive in Central Continent. In truth, it had been thousands of years since their last meeting,

He grimly pulled the others aside, retorting, “Fifth Brother, is all you have left your sharp tongue?”

“Whether it’s just talk, you’re welcome to test it,”

said the Daoist as Mu Zili and the others stepped forward.

Wuxian frowned heavily, unable to discern where the Daoist got such confidence from.

Clearly a mere shadow of himself, yet still daring to provoke them.

But he quickly found out.

Quan Xiaotong silently took out a Pill and handed it to the Daoist.

The Daoist gladly accepted and swallowed it in one gulp in front of everyone.

Boom!

A massive sound exploded instantly, and the aura that spread almost overturned everything around them.

Wuxian and the others stood dumbfounded, staring at the young Daoist who had suddenly appeared before them.

Yin Wuang might not have felt much, only being shocked by the Daoist’s strength materializing from nothing.

As for Wuxian and Shang Wanfeng, they were already speechless, their faces turning exceedingly grim in an instant.

Some unpleasant memories were crashing back into their minds, that annoying figure becoming clearer, overlapping with the Daoist at that moment.

The person was still that person, unruly, flamboyant.

The flavor was still that flavor, so familiar it was utterly loathsome.

The Daoist smacked his lips before slowly speaking, “The cultivation of the fourth disciple is just mediocre, but I can make do with it, now can we talk properly?”

Yin Wuang laughed coldly, having heard somewhat of the Daoist’s feats. After all, fighting for survival for so long, even if he didn’t know everything, both sides knew each other well enough.

Even if the Daoist restored his cultivation, he was still below them; what did he have to fear?

As the situation became increasingly tense, it was unexpected that the one to mediate wasn’t Quan Xiaotong, but rather Wuxian, one of the main parties involved.

Wuxian pulled Yin Wuang back, shaking his head with a stern expression.

He, more than anyone, knew the true nature of the Daoist; if the latter was acting so arrogantly, he must have some assurance of dealing with them.

Not to mention, they weren’t there today looking for trouble.

“Don’t forget why we’re here.”

Wuxian said, prompting Yin Wuang to suppress his anger.

Things returned to square one, and they once again addressed Quan Xiaotong.

“Although Central Continent now has some climate, the gap is still too large, everyone understands the importance of rules, I don’t believe you’ll just sit and watch while those two gradually seize more of them.”

Wuxian said coldly.

He wasn’t lying; although Central Continent now had some power, its foundation was still lacking.

Not just its foundation, but the methods of Celestial Beings were indeed strong enough, even if they poached cultivators from the Yama Hall and Celestial Dao Sect built over several thousand years.

It still couldn’t stop the Dharma Aspect monsters and the Faceless Army.

Yin Wuang added, “It’s undeniable that our end will be miserable, but when we’re truly cornered…”

“If we can’t survive, then no one else does!”

Wuxian cut in coldly before Yin Wuang could finish, laden with hidden threats.

They didn’t have the ability to survive between the Celestial Beings from both sides.

But they did have the ability to cause chaos in Central Continent.

“I have such a fiery temper!”

The Daoist couldn’t hold back from speaking harshly to the four of them.

“You four unlucky ghosts will be struck by Tribulation Thunder within twenty breaths.”

The four visibly changed their expressions, particularly Wuxian, who knew the Daoist well and turned pale.

“Words become reality!”

“There’s no such rule!”

Yin Wuang immediately turned back in disbelief.

But as his words fell, there was no one around; the Daoist had already pulled Quan Xiaotong back, and the ordinary people were taken away by their mentor Chen Xixi. The surrounding cultivators had also emptied the space.

Only the four stood dumbfounded amidst it all, and suddenly, dark clouds gathered above their heads, with thunder surging within.

Tribulation Thunder!

The four faces changed all at once.

Gazing in the direction of the Daoist’s retreat as if seeing a ghost, had he really succeeded?

Lies are sometimes hard to distinguish, but the Tribulation Thunder above the head doesn’t lie.

Soon, countless thunders came down with rustling noise, and the entire site of New City once again faced devastating havoc.

Quan Xiaotong watched the lightning from afar, his eyes twitching non-stop, equally astounded at the Daoist’s methods.

“Is it really words becoming reality?”

Unsaid it’s fine, but on mention, the Daoist’s face, which just started to improve, instantly fell.

In the future, he probably shouldn’t hear the phrase “words become reality” again.

It’s unsettling even to hear.

“Nonsense words become reality, that damned old trickster fooled me.”

The Daoist bit out the words through gritted teeth.

Rather than words becoming reality, it was more like a crow’s beak.

No wonder he always felt something was off, how his words becoming reality always caused others to endure various negative events, yet failed to provide any positive results.

For instance, he wanted to test if he could make Su Xiaoxiao speed up.

But it was useless; instead, every attempt ended up with diarrhea as a sure result.

In hindsight, the clues were there, damned old trickster, always scheming against him.

The Daoist lamented, while Quan Xiaotong wore an incredibly peculiar expression.

“This doesn’t seem much different than words becoming reality, whatever you say turns unlucky.”

At least that was how he saw it.

The Daoist’s bitter smile indicated Quan Xiaotong also hadn’t experienced a big pie; that damned old trickster depicted a path where whatever he said became real.

What’s the significance of misfortune?

Even causing misfortune must adhere to logic.

“How does it adhere to logic?”

Quan Xiaotong kindly wanted to help analyze, but the Daoist just pouted.

“I can’t make the sun fall and crush people, nor can I do it with the stars.”

So the disparity from what the Daoist hoped for was too great.

They all looked at each other, was this the reason for the Daoist’s hesitation?

“Master, perhaps you should quit while you’re ahead! This is quite ridiculous.”

Su Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but advise; this thunder striking others was already absurd enough, there was no need for the sun to fall.

“Yes, old man, don’t be too greedy!”

Even Chen Xixi thought the Daoist was overreaching, given the current power of the misfortune rule, it was already quite terrifying.

“That Tribulation Thunder is just the most basic, it won’t kill them.”

The Daoist sighed, everyone overestimated his rule; since it was misfortune, it couldn’t directly cause death.

At most, it just left those people disheveled.

Sure enough, as he said, not long after, when the four reappeared, the clouds scattered, and clear skies returned.

Wuxian almost bit through his molars; that damn Fifth Brother had truly risen again.

The damage from the Tribulation Thunder wasn’t large, but its insult was strong.

If the Daoist kept talking to them for a long time, then they probably wouldn’t be able to do anything but deal with the endless Tribulation Thunder and be driven insane.
