Who Brought Him into the Cultivation World?

Chapter 939 - 875: The Heavenly Dao’s Response

"I want you to go back and stir up some trouble for the Celestial Dao Sect."

The voice from the First Hall echoed.

Han Yu, however, caught the underlying implications.

The Yama Hall is eager to send the Sacred Artifact down, so isn’t the Celestial Dao Sect doing the same thing?

"So, the Celestial Dao Sect also wants to send the Celestial River down, right?"

Han Yu asked thoughtfully.

The First Hall showed a look of appreciation and chuckled.

"You’re not too dumb after all."

Yet, this only deepened the confusion on Han Yu’s face.

"You’ve lost the Array, and the Celestial Dao Sect has no vitality."

In other words, neither side has enough resources to send their Sacred Artifacts into the Central Continent.

Yama Hall needs souls to fill the grinding stone, while the Celestial Dao Sect’s Celestial River needs continuous vitality. Han Yu knew these things.

Can they still proceed without these two things?

"That’s not something you need to worry about. All you need to do is go to the Celestial Dao Sect and mess things up," the First Hall said with a smile, shocking Han Yu.

Making him boldly cause trouble on the Celestial Dao Sect’s turf—let alone the fact that Di Liuxin and Jiang Xinyuan would definitely be delighted if he delivered himself to them.

They could easily wipe him out in the process.

"You’re overestimating me,"

Han Yu shook his head; he couldn’t accomplish this task.

But the First Hall seemed confident, pointing at the Enlightenment Forest, speaking with implication, "Isn’t this enough Qi Fortune for you? If you can’t bother them even a little, I won’t mind taking you out myself."

Shit!

This bastard really guessed it.

Not only guessed it, but was sure that Fortune is his enhancement path.

Han Yu’s face turned quite unpleasant, likely the first person to guess his secret.

The biggest secret had been detected.

It felt like seeing a ghost to Han Yu.

The opponent seemed unfazed by Han Yu’s surprise, instead maintaining a calm demeanor.

"So, after acquiring the Qi Fortune, you should go back obediently and mess up their plans. Is there a problem?"

Han Yu’s expression was complex; naturally, there was no problem. The immense Qi Fortune in the Enlightenment Forest was a significant boost, whether for Ping or for him.

By then, he should be able to have a showdown with Di Liuxin and Jiang Xinyuan.

"Are you really willing to give it?"

Keep in mind, if he can mess with the Celestial Dao Sect, he can mess with the Yama Hall too.

If he’s given enough Qi Fortune, he can contend with Di Liuxin, and also with Jiu You.

The First Hall gave a creepy smile, sending chills down one’s spine.

"You’re overestimating yourself a bit; that’s not a good habit."

He merely stretched out his hand, without showing any traces of movement, yet Han Yu was continuously pressed into the ground as if he was being forcibly pushed down.

This was just a casual action.

"Do you think, when the Heavenly Dao can do nothing to us, what chance does a mere pawn like you have?"

Just one sentence, yet Han Yu’s face looked extremely grim, and even his breath became erratic.

Ten thousand years ago, they could only wait for the Celestial Beings from both sides to be severely injured before the Heavenly Dao could barely expel them.

Now, ten thousand years later, both sides have returned with vengeance.

If even the Heavenly Dao can’t handle it, what chance does he have!

"Don’t listen to him. You may not be a pawn, and besides, the Heavenly Dao may be trash, but you aren’t, so why take it personally."

For a moment, Han Yu almost fell into confusion, yet suddenly the Artifact Spirit started shouting within the Sea of Consciousness.

"Besides, we’re even thinking of dealing with the Heavenly Dao; what does it matter to us if it’s trash or not."

The Artifact Spirit continued to say loudly.

"Oh, right! What does it matter to me if the Heavenly Dao is trash."

Han Yu’s previously dispirited demeanor instantly surged. From being crushed into the dirt, he leaped up, barely standing under the pressure.

This was somewhat beyond the expectations of the opponent, who let out a vague word of praise before suddenly withdrawing his hands.

"Acceptable, at least. You’re just needed to mess with the opponents; doing other extra things will only bring death,"

The First Hall said coldly.

The choice before Han Yu now lay merely between cooperation or death.

"First, get the Qi Fortune. He may guess you need it, but he can’t anticipate how powerful you’ll be after obtaining it."

The Artifact Spirit couldn’t help but urge.

Even they can’t predict what new transformations will occur after getting the Qi Fortune, so it doesn’t believe outsiders can understand Ping better than them.

"At least ensure survival first."

Persuaded thus, Han Yu was also weighing the options.

It truly seemed like cooperation was the only path left.

Looking at the First Hall’s confident demeanor, Han Yu couldn’t help but grow disheartened, as if he was waiting to trap him.

"Just fear the Celestial Dao Sect thinks the same way."

The Artifact Spirit spoke gravely; if they both knew Han Yu needed Qi Fortune, while the Yama Hall would still guard the Enlightenment Forest, then the Celestial Dao Sect would just take the stone away, leaving Han Yu in a difficult situation.

"Never mind, just take it first."

Han Yu gritted his teeth in secret; if they dared give it, why shouldn’t he dare take it?

It’s one thing to guess, but the opponent might not know everything.

At least they weren’t aware of the Artifact Spirit’s existence.

The First Hall maintained an air of lightness and indifference, seemingly unconcerned with Han Yu’s thoughts.

"Take it! I also want to see what use this shabby thing left by the Heavenly Dao has,"

The First Hall said.

Han Yu glanced at him, then turned into an aurora as he dashed forward. West River Slash appeared in his hand, and the aurora passed over, cutting down one Enlightenment Tree after another, swiftly collecting them into his Sea of Consciousness.

The vast forest was swiftly cleared, and from a high vantage point, it looked as if a chunk had been gnawed away.

In the World of Five Elements, a mist of confusion reigned evident, but one could still hear the exclamations of the Artifact Spirit.

"Thirty years, thirty-five years, thirty-seven years..."

Eventually, it even grew tired of counting, for there was simply too much.

"I suspect this place might have over ten thousand years of Qi Fortune,"

The Artifact Spirit said.

Is it much?

It seemed frighteningly excessive!

But Han Yu still furrowed his brow. This Qi Fortune might appear abundant for him, but considering the Heavenly Dao and the Yama Hall’s pocket dimensions, it appeared insufficient.

Don’t forget, over at the Celestial Dao sect, nearly five thousand years had slipped through Mu Zili’s fingers.

"No wonder they’re so generous; this can’t possibly be all of Yama Hall’s Qi Fortune."

Han Yu whispered in his Sea of Consciousness.

Apparently, Yama Hall might not be that brave, knowing that the Heavenly Dao has preparations, yet foolishly delivering Qi Fortune.

The First Hall’s words scoffed at the Heavenly Dao, yet his methods indicated caution.

Within the World of Five Elements, Ping seemed to increase its suction significantly, with quite a commotion, causing lightning and thunder to inexplicably roll across the Sea of Consciousness sky.

Outside, the First Hall’s face remained calm, but the corners of his eyes never left Han Yu.

Even this was noticeable.

A hypocritical dog.

Han Yu couldn’t help but gripe, while within him, the Artifact Spirit suddenly fell silent, alongside Ping, entering a shared state of stillness—only the continuous lightning and thunder remained.

"Are you finished?"

The First Hall couldn’t hold back from asking.

Han Yu finally nodded slightly; the Qi Fortune has been fully collected. Even if the state within his Sea of Consciousness was unclear, the commotion around Ping had ceased.

"Good."

The First Hall smiled approvingly, suddenly reaching out, extending a hand towards Han Yu’s forehead.

Han Yu’s face stiffened; he knew the First Hall wasn’t so kind-hearted.

This was an attempt to investigate his body after acquiring the Qi Fortune.

The First Hall certainly had this intention. It was all based on speculation; since Han Yu could persistently acquire Qi Fortune, there was surely a secret in his Sea of Consciousness.

Giving him the Qi Fortune was true, wanting him to create chaos at the Celestial Dao Sect was true too.

Naturally, wanting to explore Han Yu’s situation was equally true.

Knowing Han Yu was a pawn set by the Heavenly Dao, who could remain indifferent?

All these things, only truly began now.

But what he hadn’t anticipated was Han Yu’s reaction— or perhaps the Heavenly Dao’s underhandedness being so shameless.

Han Yu watched as that finger approached, and he did something that left the opponent utterly astonished...
