Chapter 642: Chapter 397: Reunion (Part 2)

Han Ning moved stealthily under the cover of the trees, quickly approaching the gate of the villa.

The main gate of the villa was shut tight, and a deathly silence emanated from within.

’The quieter it is, the more dangerous it must be.’

Han Ning stood at the gate and peered inside for a moment. In the center of the villa’s grounds was a wide-open space.

’No guards. Let’s go. I’ll slip inside.’

Han Ning vaulted over the deceptively useless wall and leaped into the courtyard.

The All-Encompassing Spiritual Silkworm silently shattered a window into countless fragments and entered the building first.

It was a storage room for miscellaneous items. Aside from brooms and bedpans, there was nothing else.

Han Ning walked quietly to the door of the storage room, tilted his head to listen for a moment, then reached out to open it.

The moment his hand touched the latch, the door opened outward on its own.

Behind the door was a spacious hall.

Before him stood a bald, burly man with a blank expression. Behind him stood more than a dozen other people.

At that moment, they all turned to stare at Han Ning with cold, indifferent eyes.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

A dozen or so dark gun barrels were pointed at him.

In an instant, gunfire erupted.

Egg Pancake extended a claw and tapped.

The barrage of bullets stopped in mid-air, frozen over with blue Ice Crystals.

Han Ning’s eyes swept quickly around the room.

He was standing to the side of the hall. In the main seat at the center of the hall sat a man with an effeminate face. To the man’s right sat another man in a seat of equal status.

Dozens of people carrying firearms and wearing black trench coats stood on either side, leaving a space in the middle where three gallows, each over three meters tall, were placed.

Three blood-soaked beasts were bound with ropes and hung suspended in mid-air.

Saliva mixed with blood dripped from one of them, a fiery red moose, forming a long, viscous line of blood that connected to the floor.

"Yin Yi..."

Han Ning took a deep breath, his gaze turning icy cold.

The Soul Beasts by his side sensed Han Ning’s emotions and began to emit terrifying fluctuations of Spiritual Energy.

It wasn’t just Han Ning; Egg Pancake and the All-Encompassing Spiritual Silkworm also recognized the strong scent of Yin Yi on the red moose.

Seeing Han Ning’s posture, the effeminate man in the main seat raised his meticulously shaped, delicate eyebrows. He clapped his hands, stood up, and spoke in a raspy voice:

"I’ve never seen an expert of your caliber in the Ludao area."

"You’ve killed so many of my men. You can’t just leave without giving something in return, can you?"

Han Ning remained silent. He could sense a ruthless aura from the man.

"The president of the Eternal Spring Association, Han Ge?"

"That would be me."

"Starting today, the Eternal Spring Association will cease to exist."

Han Ning stared directly into the man’s sinister eyes, baring his teeth in a grin.

"Egg Pancake, Little Fatty Silkworm, Frost Jade, attack!"

"HISS..." "COO!" "WOOF WOOF!"

A surging wave of Spiritual Suppression radiated outward with Han Ning at its center.

Behind him, the illusory, fluorescent white shadow of a Divine Being materialized.

Red bolts of lightning crackled and flashed around the Divine Being.

It moved in perfect sync with Han Ning, its gaze falling upon the crowd before them.

"Hmph..."

With the exception of Han Ge and the mysterious man beside him, everyone else let out a muffled grunt as dark blood streamed from their faces.

They collapsed to the ground with a thud.

At the forefront, the three Soul Beasts were already locked in combat with Han Ge.

"You will die!"

Han Ge hissed quickly, Power surging between his Finger Tigers. He generated intense wind pressure as he swung a punch, filled with the power of his rage, at the approaching All-Encompassing Spiritual Silkworm!

"BANG!"

Fist met claw. Even though it was a hasty exchange, the All-Encompassing Spiritual Silkworm didn’t budge an inch, while Han Ge was forced back five steps.

’I can’t even push back a mere beast...’

Han Ge stared in astonishment at the rippling muscles covering the All-Encompassing Spiritual Silkworm.

He rotated his wrists, his tone returning to a calm state. "Terrifying Power. If the Divine Envoy weren’t here, you really would have annihilated my association today."

Han Ning narrowed his eyes, ignoring Han Ge’s words. His gaze fell on the person behind Han Ge who was still sitting in the seat of honor, calmly sipping tea.

Han Ge took a deep breath, channeled power from his heels, through his waist, and into his fingertips, then lunged forward to attack!

"ROAR!"

A fierce, tiger-like roar suddenly echoed through the noisy hall, overpowering all other sounds as if the king of beasts had arrived.

A large bird and a black-clad figure were tangled in a chaotic brawl.

A few seconds later, Han Ge’s figure shot backward like a cannonball, crashing stiffly into a wall and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"D-Divine Envoy, if you don’t act now, the Eternal Spring Association will truly be finished..."

Egg Pancake and Frost Jade stared intently at the black-robed man in the seat of honor, letting out continuous, threatening snarls.

Although neither side had made a physical move, in the Spiritual World, Han Ning and his two Soul Beasts had already exchanged dozens of blows with the man.

An invisible wall stood between the two sides.

’This person... he’s at least Tier Five in strength, and his Spiritual Power is at Tier Three. He’s the strongest person I’ve seen in the Abyss Prison.’

A dark light flickered in Han Ning’s eyes as his Spiritual Power formed into more than a dozen sharp swords to block the opponent’s invisible fluctuations.

This person’s attack method was very strange. He didn’t attack with Energy or physical force. Instead, with each attack, he would emit hundreds or even thousands of invisible Spiritual Fluctuations.

These fluctuations were like seawater seeping through every crack, attempting to invade their Spiritual Shields.

’He’s got some tricks.’

The masked Divine Envoy frowned, took out a pitch-black potion, and drank it. He then held up ten fingers to Han Ning.

"I’ll finish you in ten seconds."

The Divine Envoy lowered his center of gravity, slowly raised his hands, and assumed an ancient fighting stance.

The airflow around him surged. An invisible power erupted from his dantian and swept through the surroundings.

Han Ning stood firm, an immovable reef in a raging tide.

With a grunt like a clap of thunder that made Han Ning’s ears ring faintly, the Divine Envoy vanished. When he reappeared, he was just a few feet in front of him, throwing a punch.

"HAH!"

An invisible airflow enveloped Han Ning, Egg Pancake, the All-Encompassing Spiritual Silkworm, and Frost Jade, becoming layers of resistance that hindered their movements.

Amidst the rubble, Han Ge also took out a similar potion and swallowed it.

The depression in his chest healed instantly. His aura exploded as blood-red veins wrapped around his limbs. He swelled to a height of three meters and charged at Egg Pancake.

Facing an enemy who was likely Tier Five, Han Ning felt no fear. Instead, his spirit grew slightly excited.

’Now this is interesting.’

A full moon, covered in complex and intricate Runes, appeared in his mind. Rampant Spiritual Power surged from his body, blowing away the invisible pressure the Divine Envoy had brought with him.

The Divine Envoy’s figure was like a phantom. He transformed into a Rapid Shadow and flashed forward, splitting into three black illusions as he moved, which attacked Egg Pancake, Han Ning, and Frost Jade respectively.

"HISS..."

Egg Pancake’s body swelled, blocking the attack meant for Han Ning. Blue Dragon Power surged as it took on two of the illusions, leaving the third for Frost Jade.

THUMP~

The dull sound of the impact traveled far. The roof above the battle zone shattered, piece by piece, revealing the bright sky above.

The Divine Envoy lightly tapped a piece of rubble with his foot, using the force to leap into the air. A continuous stream of Energy allowed him to float in mid-air.

The air spun violently, forming a thin wall of Wind around the Divine Envoy. The wall of Wind then shrank, condensing into two small, highly concentrated whirlwinds between his fists.

He looked down on Egg Pancake from above, his eyes as sharp as a falcon locking onto its prey. He let out a light breath. "Controlling the Six Qi!"

The next moment, a storm of fist-shadows rained down from above.

The furious wind pressure was so intense that even Han Ning’s breathing hitched slightly.

Facing the Divine Envoy’s attack, Han Ning’s heart pounded wildly. Blood rushed through his brain as he entered a state of heightened excitement.

"Overload!"

The cool Spiritual Power ignited his brain. With a mental ROAR, his pupils turned a faint, fluorescent white.

A blue light erupted from Egg Pancake’s body. Icy air radiated outward, freezing everything within a several-hundred-meter radius into solid Ice Crystal.

The ambient temperature plummeted, and white snow began to fall from the sky.

The agile Divine Envoy’s movements suddenly slowed as thick layers of Ice Crystal formed on his body.

"How troublesome... Just what in the world are you!" A low, monstrous roar came from within the Ice Crystal.

CRACKLE~

Fine cracks began to appear on the ice covering the Divine Envoy’s body.

BOOM!

He shattered the ice.

His body swelled at an incredible speed.

Blood-red sinews burst from his skin, wrapping around his muscles.

In the blink of an eye, a monster nearly eight meters tall, covered in powerful, blood-red muscles, appeared before Han Ning.
