Knox seemed completely drained, lazily collapsed on the sofa, maintaining the same posture without moving, but his lips curved upwards as he smiled and said, "Take care, not seeing you off. I’ll have someone list the costs of the damages you caused, and eventually, someone will go to the Saxon Family for compensation, so don’t shirk it."

Matthew Saxon glanced at the mess on the floor and laughed coldly out of anger, "Fine, sending someone over for me to stretch my muscles is pretty nice, a human punching bag is way more useful than dead objects."

Knox lay lifeless on the sofa, as if he were dead, not moving a muscle, only his eyes shifted and his lips moved, nonchalantly saying, "Even if I can’t win, I still have to fight. Losing isn’t losing in presence, I’m venting for Scarlett; getting hit makes me happy, it’s worthwhile!"

"Worthwhile indeed! I think you’ve truly gone mad." Hayes took the first aid kit from the maid, retrieving alcohol and cotton swabs.

His mind was occupied with Knox’s constant trouble-making, so his strength wasn’t gentle, pressing the alcohol-soaked swab heavily against the bruises, "Scarlett Yates is Matthew’s wife, they’re a married couple arguing, why are you blindly interfering?"

Knox cried out in pain, "Brother, lighten up, are you treating me like an enemy?"
