Chapter 221: Chapter 221: Reforging the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel

"Alright, let’s begin!"

Andre ground the Ice Soul in his hand into the finest powder.

After using its phosphorescence to confirm there were no large particles left, Andre stopped and took out some Magic Plants from his Storage Ring to begin concocting the Potion.

This time, he planned to turn these materials into a solution. Then, using the corrosive properties of his Chaos Magic Power, he would inscribe them into the Demon Patterns of the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel. Finally, he would perform a second forging to complete the reforging process.

He had designed this procedure back when he first forged the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel.

He would continuously etch materials onto the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel, making its Demon Patterns more complex. Then, he would use Magic Fire to forge it, fusing the materials with the wheel itself.

This was the reforging process for the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel. Through repeated reforgings, its Power would constantly increase.

But this design had its flaws.

No matter how much its Power was increased, how many times it was reforged, or what materials were fused into it...

The materials used to forge the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel in the first place dictated that its peak would be the Morning Star Level.

To raise its Power to the level of Moonlight, Red Sun, or even Truth...

Andre would need to reforge it with new primary materials.

’If that day ever comes, I should have a disciple of my own by then.’

Andre looked at the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel in his hand. If that time really came...

This first Ten Thousand Laws Wheel would be perfect for his disciple to use.

’I wonder if that day will ever come!’

Andre shook his head and continued concocting the Potion.

As a flash of Silver White light faded, Andre finished concocting the Potion.

"What’s going on?" Karina’s gaze was drawn over by the light.

"I’m concocting a Potion. No need to make a fuss!"

Andre said without turning his head.

"I’ve never seen any Potion flash with light while being concocted!"

Karina rolled her eyes at Andre.

"There’s a lot you haven’t seen. How many books on Pharmacy have you read? How many on the study of Demon Patterns? How many on forging Witchcraft Artifacts?"

Hearing this, Andre turned around and immediately fired off the three questions, causing Karina’s mind to go blank for a moment.

But then, Karina snapped back to her senses and retorted loudly at Andre.

"Do I have to tell you how many books I’ve read?"

Andre looked at Karina’s stubborn refusal to admit fault and shook his head with a smile.

"It’s not about telling me how many books you’ve read. It’s that if you had read enough, you wouldn’t find this phenomenon strange."

After speaking, Andre poured the nearly melted Ice Soul into the Potion, then stoppered the vial and shook it continuously.

As the Ice Soul reacted with the Potion, flashes of Silver White light flickered nonstop inside the test tube.

"Are you sure you’re concocting a Potion?"

Karina’s eyes widened as she watched the flashes of Silver White light. She had a feeling that if the Potion in the test tube kept flashing like that, it was going to explode.

"It’s my Potion, of course I’m...!"

Andre opened his mouth, but then closed it in frustration. There was no point talking to a low-level information broker like Karina.

Information brokers like Karina might know many secrets.

But when it came to the subject of Pharmacy, they often knew nothing beyond the names of the Potions.

Just like Karina’s current reaction. So, explaining would be a waste of breath.

Seeing Andre lower his head and continue concocting the Potion, Karina understood that he couldn’t be bothered to speak with her right now.

But she didn’t mind. Getting worked up about it would only earn her Andre’s disdain.

Instead, she went back to drawing her Witchcraft Scroll. But just as she was about to complete her very first one, her arm trembled slightly, causing an error in the Demon Pattern she was drawing.

Instantly, a flash of fire shot up, burning the Witchcraft Scroll Karina was drawing to ashes.

"You can even fail a Scroll for the Fire Pillar Technique?"

Andre turned to look at Karina after seeing the flash of fire.

Karina’s face was flushed with embarrassment, and she didn’t know what to say.

’What happened? I was clearly on the final step, but I still failed.’

Karina was mentally searching for the reason for her recent failure.

When Karina didn’t answer him, Andre turned back to continue concocting his Potion.

He was just about finished grinding another material.

Five minutes later, Andre wiped the sweat from his forehead and mixed the ground material with the Potion.

By now, there were three Potions flashing with light in front of him.

Less than an hour had passed for Andre. This speed was undeniably fast, yet he had only finished one-sixth of the work.

To integrate the remaining 15 materials into Potions to form material solutions, he would need another five to six hours.

After that, he still needed to carve grooves into the Three Wonders Wheel, inscribe Demon Patterns, and then pour the material solutions onto it.

This process would take at least two to three hours. Then he would have to wait for the material solutions to solidify completely before forging it again, which would take about 12 hours.

In other words, by the time he finished reforging the Three Wonders Wheel, a full day would have passed.

But Andre didn’t care about the time it would take.

For him, the most urgent matter was completing the reforging of the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel as soon as possible.

Only by completing the reforging of the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel would he have the Power to go to the Giant Snake’s Nest and steal the Snake Egg.

Andre continued to grind the materials in his hands into powder. When he encountered ones that couldn’t be ground, he would take out the Gale Gate and crush them into powder one by one.

For those the Gale Gate couldn’t crush, he took out his Splitting Heavy Sword. He would slice the materials into sheets, then into strips, and finally, with a flurry of chaotic chops, reduce them to powder.

This was the only way to reduce some of the harder materials to a size that the Potions could absorb.

And while Andre was busy concocting Potions and grinding materials, Karina’s attempts at drawing Witchcraft Scrolls repeatedly burst into flames.

One Witchcraft Scroll after another failed in her hands.

"What is going on?" Karina finally stopped in frustration after another pillar of fire shot into the air.

By now, she had already used up a quarter of her materials for the Witchcraft Scrolls.

And that quarter of the materials was enough to draw six Witchcraft Scrolls of the Fire Pillar Technique.

But the result was failure, failure, and more failure.

This left Karina utterly bewildered. What was wrong with her? How could she fail to even inscribe a Witchcraft Scroll for something as basic as the Fire Pillar Technique?

"Have you been cursed?" Andre asked, looking at Karina.

"A curse? How is that possible?" Karina immediately refuted Andre’s words.

But then it dawned on her. If she hadn’t been cursed, why had her luck become so terrible?

Even if her luck had been a bit off lately, it shouldn’t be so bad that all six Witchcraft Scrolls would fail, right?
