Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 396 - 397: Creating a World
Chapter 396: Chapter 397: Creating a World
The moment the Giant appeared, specks of starlight descended from the void.
"Is this a blessing from the Wizard Civilization Will?"
After sensing the essence of the starlight, Antaromen spoke with a sense of resignation.
At this moment, he couldn’t explain what was happening with Andre’s breakthrough at all.
Nor could he fathom what had drawn the attention of the Wizard Civilization Will.
"Andre should complete his breakthrough in another two years, shouldn’t he?"
Antaromen said, looking at Ang Jones.
"That’s the feedback Destiny gives me, but whether he can actually finish it will depend on Andre himself."
"I’ve never seen a breakthrough process like Andre’s."
"In the past, I’ve seen some strange phenomena when younger family members broke through to become Morning Star Wizards."
"Things like towering waves of water, mountains of fire, raging winds, and boulders the size of mountains."
"But among all those phenomena, none has ever been as special as Andre’s—to actually be able to connect and fuse with different worlds."
"Then, he devours the Power of World Origin from each world, transforms it with his own Power, and uses it to replenish those same worlds."
"Logically, these worlds should be vehemently rejecting Andre, yet they are more than willing to accept his Power."
"I doubt even the Ancestors have ever seen anything like this."
Ang Jones looked at Antaromen and shrugged.
"Andre embodies the Chaos Magic Power, which has never before appeared in the Star Realm. It’s understandable that he’d be a bit special."
The Eight Ancestors remarked calmly.
’But this is a little *too* special,’ Antaromen thought, rolling his eyes internally.
After debating for a while, the three of them went back to watching Andre, who was still in the midst of his transformation.
As the starlight continued to merge into the Giant that was Andre, his form began to change, expanding explosively.
After expanding for a while, it would begin to shrink, only to expand and shrink again, over and over.
After an unknown amount of time, the Eight Ancestors, Ang Jones, and Antaromen had all grown tired of watching the changes.
But just then, they suddenly sensed that the space in this region of the Star Realm, where Andre was located, had become immeasurably more stable.
The moment the space stabilized, the concentration of Magic Power began to skyrocket.
At the same time, a faint yellow hue began to appear at Andre’s feet.
"What is that?" Ang Jones’s eyes widened as he stared at the yellow glow.
Once he got a clear look, Ang Jones furrowed his brow in confusion.
Because the yellow glow was coming from soil.
"Is Andre planning to turn this region of the Star Realm into his own Morning Star World?"
Antaromen, who had of course noticed these changes as well, immediately chimed in.
"It’s hard to say. At this point, it seems nothing that happens with Andre should come as a surprise."
The Eight Ancestors nodded, his gaze fixed on the Giant that was Andre.
The soil began to spread, gradually enveloping the entire gray sphere that contained Andre.
The very instant the sphere was fully enveloped, the soil vanished.
Next, a single drop of water appeared beside Andre, then enveloped him just as the soil had done.
It too vanished the instant it enveloped him.
After the water droplet came fire, Wind, light, darkness, and even time and space, all appearing beside Andre.
But they too vanished the instant they enveloped Andre’s body.
"It seems this is Andre’s method for his breakthrough."
"Right now, Andre must be forging his own Morning Star World."
The Eight Ancestors’ brow smoothed as he watched these Powers. ’These are all world-related. Andre must be combining them now to create a world of his own.’
Meanwhile, inside the sphere, Andre slowly opened his eyes.
He felt as if he had been in a very long dream!
In the dream, he had been in constant dialogue with beings on his level, spending a great deal of time with them.
He had learned a great deal from these peers. ’And now, it’s time to complete my final transformation.’
’But this final transformation requires a massive amount of Power. I need to start accumulating it now.’
Realizing this, Andre’s newly opened eyes closed once more, and he began to absorb the Power within the Star Realm with all his might.
As Andre began to absorb the Power of the Star Realm, all kinds of energies from the realm converged around him, where they were ceaselessly converted into Chaos Magic Power by the gray sphere.
"Isn’t this speed a bit too absurd?"
Antaromen took a few steps back, frowning as he watched the gray sphere absorb a massive amount of the Star Realm’s Power.
This speed was nearly comparable to that of a Moonlight Mage, yet Andre had this kind of absorption rate before he had even fully transformed into a Morning Star Wizard.
’If Andre actually becomes a Morning Star Wizard, this rate will increase even further, won’t it?’
「Soon, another five years passed.」
The gray sphere had gradually dried up, clinging to the surface of Andre’s body like a thin membrane.
"It looks like Andre will be waking up soon."
Ang Jones spun the Wheel of Destiny, once again peering into Andre’s fate. This time, the revelation he received was that Andre would awaken in two to three months.
"It’s finally over. Who’s ever heard of a Wizard needing over thirty years for a breakthrough?"
"The previous record was just over a decade, but Andre more than doubled it."
Hearing this, Antaromen stretched his body, and a series of CRACKS and POPS echoed from his joints.
He had been sitting here for too long, so long that his body had grown stiff.
"I wonder what kind of World Witchcraft Andre will obtain once his breakthrough is complete."
The Eight Ancestors also gave a long stretch, looking at Andre within the membrane.
Just then, Andre’s body began to slowly unfurl from its curled position.
As he did, a flash of light appeared in his hands, then dispersed to form nine rings.
The nine rings slowly rotated, parting the membrane.
The instant the membrane parted, Andre stepped out.
The moment Andre stepped out, the membrane vanished as if it had never existed.
’I can’t believe I accidentally formed a world membrane during my breakthrough!’
Andre watched the membrane vanish, unconcerned. He knew it would only take him a hundred years or so to create an identical one.
