Chapter 404: Chapter 405: Voyage Preparations

The moment the Morning Sky returned to its original form, roars echoed from within.

"Quiet!" Andre slapped the side of the Morning Sky next to him.

The Morning Sky immediately quieted down.

"Alright, be careful on your journey."

The Eight Ancestors said to Andre.

"Mm." Andre nodded. Then, he removed an Exit Ring from his left pinky and put on the Secret Realm Ring he had just received.

He released the Battle Moon from within the Secret Realm Ring.

Heralded by waves of transparent ripples, a massive warship appeared silently out of the void, as if it had occupied that very spot all along.

"Eight Ancestors, I’m leaving now!"

Looking at the Battle Moon before him, Andre waved to the Eight Ancestors.

"Wei Xing, check the ship’s condition!"

At the same time, he also used a Spiritual Fluctuation to rouse Wei Xing.

"Check complete. Aside from Energy reserves being below fifty percent, all other systems are normal."

Wei Xing responded quickly. Andre nodded, then flew beside the Battle Moon and enveloped it with his own Spiritual Fluctuation.

He then imprinted his Soul Brand on the Battle Moon’s Witch Brain Core.

Soon, the Battle Moon’s hatch slowly opened, and Andre flew inside. The Morning Sky followed him in.

As Andre entered the ship, lights flickered on, guiding him toward the Battle Moon’s Central Control Room like road signs from his past life.

"Welcome."

The moment Andre set foot inside the Central Control Room, a heavy, mechanical voice rang out.

Then, every screen in the Central Control Room lit up, displaying the view outside the Battle Moon.

"Come out," Andre called, looking at the screens.

A silver-white skull appeared on the largest screen.

"Change your appearance!"

Andre waved dismissively. The skull nodded, and a very ordinary-looking stone replaced it on the screen.

"This will do. What’s your name?"

Andre asked, looking at the stone on the screen.

"I apologize, but I do not yet have a designation. I was created by the Family thirty thousand years ago, but I have never been activated."

The Stone seemed to look at Andre and shake its head.

"Is that so... In that case, I’ll just call you Stone."

Andre said, looking at the image. He couldn’t be bothered to think of a new name.

The Stone wobbled, agreeing to the name.

"Inspect the ship now. Check for damage and report on energy reserves." Looking at the Stone, Andre immediately issued his first command.

"Understood." The Stone’s voice faded. Andre, in turn, left the Central Control Room and headed for the cargo bay.

He opened the Morning Sky’s hatch. The moment it was open, two figures—Potato and Seven Rings—charged out, followed by the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant.

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant strode out, ready to complain to Andre about something. But the instant it saw him, it realized that Andre’s Realm was now higher than its own.

"Great Master, your Power has increased far too quickly!"

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant threw itself to the ground, even knocking out one of its ivory tusks.

"It’s nothing. I merely had the family’s help."

Andre looked at the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant and shook his head.

"The family’s help? What kind of family could help you become a Morning Star Creature in such a short time?"

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant looked at Andre and shook its head, finding his words hard to believe.

"From your perspective, how much time has passed?"

Andre asked, seeing the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant’s reaction.

"As far as I can tell, only ten years have passed!"

"Ten years?" Andre was stunned by the answer.

"Am I wrong?"

Seeing Andre’s reaction, the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant realized something was amiss.

"To be precise, thirty-three years have passed in the outside world. It took me thirty-three years to break through from a Level 3 Wizard to a Morning Star Wizard."

Andre explained slowly to the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant.

"Has it already been thirty-three years?"

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant looked at Andre, its expression momentarily freezing in shock.

"It has been thirty-three years. The Morning Sky was sealed by one of my family’s elders."

"While you were inside the Morning Sky, you only perceived about a third of the time that passed in the outside world."

"It seems this elder of mine used some form of time-based Witchcraft, which would explain your distorted perception."

Andre said, stroking Potato, who was clinging to his leg and rubbing against it incessantly.

"I see... They can manipulate the Power of time. Your family... just what family is it? How could they possess such terrifying Power?"

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant looked at Andre and asked cautiously.

"My family is called the Tower of Black Stone!"

"The Tower of Black Stone?" Upon hearing the name, the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant blinked its eyes and began searching its Bloodline memories.

But a thorough search yielded no mention of any "Wizard Tower."

"To be precise, it’s the Tower of Black Stone. The name itself is ’Black Stone.’"

Andre said, seeing the elephant’s blank expression.

"Oh, the Tower of Black Stone... Ah! You mean your family is one of the absolute top factions in the Wizard Ancestral Land!"

At first, the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant hadn’t thought much of it. But after searching its Bloodline memories again, it leaped to its feet, staring at Andre in utter shock.

’What kind of master have I pledged myself to?’

At this moment, the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant felt its head spin, its legs gave out from under it, and it fell to the ground again.

"Aren’t you being a little dramatic?"

Andre said, looking at the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant with a sigh.

"Don’t you know the glorious history of your own family?"

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant looked at Andre, completely exasperated.

"What difference does it make whether I know or not?"

Andre rolled his eyes at the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant.

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant slowly got to its feet and looked at Andre. It then dawned on it: after returning to his family, Andre had gone from a Level 3 Wizard to a Morning Star Wizard in just thirty-three years.

Such a short time implied a very large investment of resources.

In other words, after his return, Andre’s status within the Tower of Black Stone was by no means low.

"I thank my Master’s honored ancestors for allowing me to follow such a great man!"

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant began to shamelessly flatter Andre, hoping to receive the resources needed to become a Morning Star Giant Beast like its own ancestors.

"Alright, that’s enough. Where did you learn all this flattery?"

Andre shivered, watching the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant relentlessly suck up to him.

"Don’t you know? In the world of Divine Spirits, Deities love to hear their Believers praise them."

The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant looked at Andre with an air of complete innocence.

"So, you’re telling me you learned this from your ancestors?"

Andre stared at the Eight-toothed Giant Elephant, suddenly at a complete loss for words.

"Yep!" The Eight-toothed Giant Elephant nodded without the slightest hesitation.
